VISITORS BEWARE, they watch this lot like a hawk. I paid $12 for 2 hours and was given a $75 ticket for expired time. I did some research and this lot is owned by a private entity and operates out of Aurora,Colorado. They have absolutely no affiliation with any government agencies or the city of Austin. It's also a civil penalty and not a moving violation which means it doesnt affect your license nor can they issue a warrant against you. They threaten to send it to a collections agency if unpaid. Same old song and dance just like red light camera tickets. The worst thing they can really do is put a boot on your car or have it towed if you park in their lots again with unpaid fines. I have seen several people contest the fines and the best they can do is lower it by a few dollars. Stand up for your civil rights and quit letting these extortionists take your hard earned money. They should be pummeled for trying to charge people $75 for tickets because that is nothing short of highway robbery. Austin has several million dollars in unpaid parking tickets and there's a reason why. Good Day vultures!

Not recommended. I paid $85 for a few minutes. Find another place. I arrived at the parking lot 604 Driskill for the first time about 8:45 PM on October 17, 2017. I didn’t know how to to pay. I was expecting someone to help me pay or collect the money as it is in any of the other parking sports around downtown Austin. Because I didn’t see anybody, I was expecting to pay when leaving. A few minutes later, I went back to my car to see if there was anybody to pay and I saw a $75 Parking Notice on my windshield. Again I was looking for a person and nobody showed up. So I started walking around the parking lot and found the cashiers machines to pay. I decided to pay the parking fee. I paid $10. I was nervous and upset because of the Parking Notice and the miscommunication. When I was typing I missed one number. I typed XXXXX10 instead of XXXXX19, but your $10 parking fee was paid at 10:11 PM. I disputed the parking notice with this note and the response was negative. So I paid $75 more for a total of $85 - It is totally unfair.

I recently went to the parking lot at 604 Driskill St Austin, TX 78701 on Sunday 6/25/23. I parked in this lot without immediately paying and they booted my car at 5pm within 30 minutes of me being there. I didn't realize until 9 pm when I was leaving the lot. I was charged $194.85. $20/hr for parking is so absurd. When I was leaving, there was 5 other cars booted. My friend just told me today she got a parking ticket in the mail today for $80. This company isn't even in Texas. They are based in Louisiana and taking advantage of Austinites. I hope something can be done to prevent these crazy business practices. A lot of us can't afford to be taken advantage of right now. I also did not feel safe as a woman in a pitch dark parking lot waiting for this person to show up to take boot off. I also emailed the Mayor on this issue lol. Hopefully everyone else can do that too.

Don’t park here. Thieves that’s what I would called them. P3048 I am curious as to how I am being charged a late fee and my appeal declined so quickly when I never received a warning notice. There is nothing in the parking area informing us, customers of the 15min warming nor of the time limit. I went back to the parking lot and took photos of your signs. If you say I need to pay $30 then I'll pay that. They did not want to reconsider my appeal as I find it unjust and thievery to be charged a $120 late fee when not given a warning notice at all. The tolls, city of Austin and others normally send a formal warning notice. This is the first to see a company slap someone with no warning.

This is a dirt lot which is fine but there are holes everywhere, some of which are 5 or more inches deep. How hard is it to get bags of gravel and fill in the holes? I paid $16 hours to park for 4 hours. I don't think it is too much to ask to be able to drive through the parking lot when it is dark and not drop into a big hole and causing hundreds of dollars of damage to my front splitter. And no, my car is not lowered, 100% stock. Seriously, this isn't hard for these guys to fix. Avoid this lot at all costs.

This parking lot allows you to pay for their parking and then doesn't provide the receipt (runs out of paper) to put on your dash. They issued my friend a ticket for $60+ more than what she would have paid to park. Then when she provided proof of payment, they issued another ticket at a slightly reduced amount. They told her any extra communication is consent to pay the reduced ticket amount. I wonder how many others out there have had this happen? I wonder if this is legal. Will never use this lot again.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT PARK HERE. I went into the Anthem restaurant on Rainey for a work meeting. 15 minutes later I realized I forgot to pay. I went out and paid, and even extended my time to ensure I wouldn’t get a ticket. 2 weeks later I got a ticket in the mail for $110. The parking itself was $20/hr. Would have been cheaper to park a half mile away on the Eastside or walk from my apartment. Never again….

TOTAL SCAM! BEWARE! I paid $50 to park here on 2/17. The little machine did not have any paper but since you have to enter your license plate number that it would be ok. NO. ITS NOT OK. I got a $100 parking ticket a couple weeks later... So, moral of the story - DO NOT PAY TO PARK HERE - simply get the parking ticket and save yourself the hassle.

Awful company run by awful people. Their machine double charged me, and getting a hold of anyone to refund me has been next to impossible. Got an email from the "customer service" saying they couldn't issue refunds, only the district Manger. Or I could drive back to the lot and talk to the M.O.D. Shady scumbags

  • Chamandeep Brar

Don’t park here! Scam! I got a ticket a few weeks later; it took me 10 extra mins to get out because someone boxed me in (no real parking lines there). I explained it to them and they didn’t care for it, can’t believe the city of austin allows such a business to exist

  • Aaron Aanenson

DO NOT PARK HERE! I paid $20 for parking thinking it was enough for at least a few hours. They sent me a bill for $80 saying I didn't pay for parking at all and denied my claim. I couldn't reopen another claim to at least get credit for the $20 I paid.

  • joshua anderson

For as much as they charge to park here, you think they might could pave the lot at least. I swear I thought I was paying to park at Longhorn's game. That and they could repair the fence, stairs, sidewalk, and maybe weed whack a little.

  • Dan Walters

My wife paid for an hour, she's not great with time and she was there for an extra 20 minutes. Somehow the extra 20 minutes led to a bill in the mail for $110. Dishonest business practices, this place needs to be shut down.

  • Lupita Jimenez-Hand

Do not be late in leaving parking lot if parking here. We were 4 minutes late driving out of the parking lot. The offense was “over grace” 4 minutes. Ticket amount is $110.00. They have cameras in the parking lot.

  • Nazneen Kotwal

We were charged a ridiculous ticket amount of $80 for arriving exactly 6minutes late. On top of this Avis (car rental agency) charged us a $30 additional handling fee. You are so much better off taking an Uber.

  • Thomas Tsui

Still get a parking fine when their machine runs out of paper...what kind of s**t is that?? Terrible lot! for what it costs, there should be a person working that lot wiping mud off cars.

  • Dean Phillips

Dirt lot that turns muddy with a little rain. No maintenance. Charged $30 to park for an event and then ticketed vehicle for being parked in two spots. Will never use this company again.

  • Garrison

100% chance of getting a ticket if you don’t pay. They have cameras everywhere and send you the ticket in the mail. Don’t give this scam lot your money.

  • Chris Brown

Paid for 3 hours and made it back 17 minutes late to a $75 ticket. I wouldn't suggest ever using this gravel over priced sorry excuse of a parking lot.

  • David Michaels

I almost always park here for a trip to Rainey. I've never had a problem. It's clearly the most convenient parking for Rainey unless you live there.

  • John Aselton

Homeless camping in the parking lot and needles everywhere. Very very dangerous for this overpriced lot and it's condition.

  • Jason Robinson

Vehicle got booted despite us paying correctly pretty early in the night. Make sure to also take a photo of your plate

  • Seek3n

Double u T ef. Just got a violation ticket of $95.25 in the mail. Didn't even know this was a pay to "public park"

  • Joshua Cook

Payment requirements not clearly visible at night. I missed seeing these and received an 80 dollar bill.

  • Cyril Matthew R

Poorly maintained establishment. I got a $80 bill in mail for parking there for less than 45 minutes.

  • Kyler Zundel

FYI walk or get an Uber from the convention center garage. It's half the cost and only 2 blocks away.

  • Connor Clark

Parking was $22.50 for two hours on a Saturday. Gravel lot. Horrible traffic flow (or lack thereof).

  • Blake R

Garbage, ran out of paper for my receipt and tried to issue me a ticket. Good luck.

  • Curtis Blodgett

Nice spot to park if you want to check out rainy street or check out the lake

  • Robert Ross

It's parking lot that does everything you need a parking lot to do.

  • Enrique Chapa

16 mins and 18 secs delay and $80 of Ticket, never park here.

Did what it does, electronic sign in easy to use
