The relaxed atmosphere and hospitality of Luke and his team make this a great place to stop by for a beer and food. The locals are welcoming and happy to chat, the food menu is fairly simple but well cooked and with generous portions, the daily specials are interesting and exciting. The beers are well kept and the guest beers are rotated regularly. Having been in the hospitality industry for a long time, I know the importance of a customer focused approach. Everyone is greeted with a smile and a friendly word, the beers and the food are great, the variety of the background music playlists is spot on, the seating is comfortable, the lighting is ambient and the place is spotless. It is important to support our local businesses and equally important to acknowledge them, especially post Covid. BRING YOUR PARTY TO THE 4 PINES NEWPORT!!! I arranged my sons 21st birthday party at the 4 pines Newport. Luke was so accommodating with lots of suggestions on what he could do. He organized a whole section of the pub, put aside for us in this beautiful location. On the day the whole team catered so beautifully for us, around 30 people. Luke and the team he's put together are truly awesome, food just kept coming and service was excellent. The team kept me well informed on the bar tab so I was always in control. I cannot praise them enough, everyone that came had such an excellent time, would recommend them heartily. Excellent fun to have the pub environment around us with our party going on. So, bring your party here.. 30 people can't be wrong!!!

Had a brilliant Sunday lunch at the 4 Pines in Newport. The service from the staff was fantastic as always and the roast was a cracker. We usually dine at the 4 Pines in Manly and I had historically voiced my opinion that they did the better roast. Well Jamie & the team in Newport smashed it out the park & have left us with a very difficult decision to make in the future….. Where to have a super Sunday, Newport or Manly Thanks again guys.

Great pub with excellent friendly service. They even checked with a neighbouring store when my partner wanted a hot chocolate which they didn’t have on the menu. The food was excellent and the craft beer selection was good. There is lots of charm and while there is more than one Four Pines this is definitely an independent business that is well worth supporting.

Even though 4Pines was busier than they expected during tough covid times, they were accommodating and found us a suitable table. Food was very good, definitely rate their burgers, and 4pines beer is always great. Above all though was their service and making us feel welcome even though we didn't have a booking.

I love this pub. Awesome vibe, awesome staff, awesome product. However, we ordered a $25 chicken burger to be delivered today, and chicken was minimal. For $25 bucks that chicken needs to premium, thick, hanging out the entire perimeter of the bun. Please don't drop the quality and be less than excellent.

This place always delivers. Awesome selection of beers, great food (although I wouldn’t a few more vegan options) and never met a staff member that wasn’t kind, enthusiastic and helpful. Tuesday night trivia run by the big cheese Matty V is top notch every time. Stoked to have a local spot like this!

Had an amazing evening at the Four Pines in Newport last Saturday. It was their birthday event and the place was packed and rocking. Great live music from Scoot the Loot and the support act, the Blue Reds and service, beer, food and atmosphere were all fantastic. Highly recommended.

Has a quirky comfortable atmosphere, with friendly and helpful staff. Let us taste some beers first, I really enjoyed the draught. Very light and refreshing! Great variety of food available, including vegetarian options. Pumpkin salad with falafel was delish! Definitely recommend!

Fantastic beers and food! My husband is a beer lover and he absolutely loved the quality and variety of beers served in this pub. I ordered a steak as special of the day, huge portion for $15! Great value and very friendly staff. The vibe is awesome! A must stop when in Newport.

Friendly helpful service, delicious food. We had the roast lamb - tender meat, creamy mash, caramelised roast veggies, rich flavoursome gravy and they gave us cheesy garlic bread as they had no Yorkshire puddings left. It was so so tasty, will def be back!

We popped in for a meal special (fish tacos) on a budget and became accidental regulars. The food is consistently great, beer too (particularly the ginger beer), staff are down to earth and friendly and the trivia caters for all ages. Great spot!

Food is fantastic, portions are big, I had best cheeseburger ever, service is great, draughty beer great, and atmosphere is really good. My wife had chicken parmigiana and also said her food was fantastic. Worth the drive.

I love this place. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, I have always managed to get a table. Food is great and the beer is better. My kids love the burgers and its the best parmi I've ever had!!

Chicken parmy was way below average, very little cheese, sauce was as thick the tiny piece of chicken. Half the plate was just lettuce 3 ting pieces of tomato. Won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Went for happy hour, stayed for the food, super yum, had the special fish and chips delicious and the tartare sauce is so good! Great pub and nice to see some live music. Staff also 10 outta 10!

Great food, great service, great beer. Had a wonderful Sunday roast and a pint on Easter Sunday with my family. The only suggestion I’d make is offering a kids size portion of the Sunday roast.

Such a great vibe. Music playing, great food and I few Chrissy decorations for Christmas in July. The only thing missing was mulled wine. But still a great place.

We went there on Australia Day. A family of five - three kids and two adults. My kids (1y.o and 2) were very hungry so I went to order for them straight away.
