We are done with this place after being faithful customers for years. I understand you get a lot of transients here but I was sitting in my car for approximately 3.4 minutes transferring money around and downloading the rewards app and dude knocked super hard out of nowhere on my window saying it was 5 minute parking. (I was the only car in the parking lot at 4AM) scared the $#!+ out of me. I tried reassuring him that I was planning on coming inside like I do every day and he just kept saying, "it's 5 minute parking and that I better make sure"... "yeah well, make sure!" He kept saying. Make sure what? It was such a weird situation leaving me and my girlfriend in awe. We both said "f this place" and drove away and won't ever be coming back. Customer retention is important for every business and banging on people's windows randomly enforcing 5 minute parking when the lot is empty is just too much weirdness at 4AM. Somebody angered this worker and he just took it out on us. Anyway, just bad business, and it on top of a super rude, short, no visible happiness whatsoever owner lady in the daytime, weirdly stressed 50-2$ charges when I fill up my Nalgene with tap water, and just an overall militant attitude towards normal paying customers is too much when I come buy stuff here everyday. I'll go elsewhere. There are a million 711s and a lot have really great people that work hard to keep customers coming back. There's no reason to go to this one. And if you do come here, definitely enter the store asap when you park. Or they will come knocking.
Edit: the owners are kinda cool but their nephew doesn't communicate with them leading to a lot of confusion, kinda just done with them, salude. I think I'll go a bit further for plaid, in any direction, and I also don't care for plaid. First person I met was kinda cool but Shannon or whatever her name is cares about her floors like she doesn't have to mop them up in two hours after the rush, I'm coming in for some drinks not to answer questions and be barked at like a dog which I Had with my originally and then felt the need to take home because I'm not gonna deal with another person who acts like staying warm is unseemly or dirty; or a person who thinks service animals shouldn't be properly trained. I give it two stars because they at least keep track of the hot plate. Edit: removed a star cause I realized I shouldn't give the benefit of doubt after reading the reviews and noticing she didn't give me back the correct change cause I left as quickly as I could.
I love this store and the staff, even the grouchy guy. You just gotta take each person as they are. My favorite is Cecilia on the overnight shift, just an awesome person. Sure they don't have every flavor of chips, soda, or whatever. IT'S A CONVENIENCE STORE NOT A GROCERY STORE! As for the complaint about no bathroom, once again, IT'S A CONVENIENCE STORE NOT A GROCERY STORE! Living across the street, I spend quite a bit there. Milk and bread are competitive to the grocery store. Drinks can always be found for around a $1 or so. Lot's of choices on the fountain drinks too! Even the emergency bag of cat litter I bought was reasonably priced. So people remember...IT'S A CONVENIENCE STORE NOT A GROCERY STORE! Yes, some people are grouchy and others perky. Convenience stores don't have bathrooms. Etc...
7 eleven is awesome. Yes the one guy is pretty bad. Don't know why 7 eleven hires so many just angry people but I still love 7 eleven and I can only hope that the people in Corp office start getting rid if bad angry employees. However if u want a bad employee go to the 7 eleven on Barbur Blvd up past Fred meyers. I cant but she's the worst. The one located off Greenberg has an employee I'm pretty sure is a girl who also is just bitter and angry. I don't get it but I still love 7 eleven. Today I actually went to Chevron and hey have equally as good of coffee and u only need 5 stamps to get a free one. I may never go bk to 7 eleven w so many bitter employees
I’m a female service worker who works all over the city without regular access to restrooms, unless I find a port-a-potty. I have a uniform on. It should be obvious I’m not using the bathroom for anything other than relief as intended. I Asked to use the restroom before buying food and what else I wanted. Was denied use of bathroom. It just seems ridiculous to deny public use of bathroom access. There are medical conditions that could arise from prolonged lack of access; among other reasons I might require access to a bathroom that isn’t a port a potty as a person with a uterus. This denial of public restrooms for use as intended, is incredibly unethical.
She made us wait outside for 10 minutes because she needed a smoke break. She was flirting with homeless people while multiple people waited outside. I can’t believe 7-Eleven would hire someone so bad. I’m never returning to this place. It’s the brunette with glasses that somehow people have wrote good reviews about? It’s freezing out and customers are still waiting while she smokes. If this isn’t responded to, I’m taking it up with 7-eleven all together
I got caught up chatting with an employee after my purchase. I’m not sure what ticked off the other employee. He started calling me a street rat and said I haven’t got any money. I told him I work up the street and don’t play games and I walked away. The dude is big and slightly balding with a basic name like Michael. Not to hate on anyone named Michael although this dude is basic and my Grandad’s name is Michael.
It's a clean 7-11. Nice guy was working at counter commented on my shirt. Seems like a nice place. ATM is available inside. Doors are not wheelchair accessible or automatic, someone needed to hold the door for me to get in. Inside the asles are wide enough for wheelchairs. Handicappedparking available. Went with a friend. There were no taquitos, but as someone who has worked at a convenience store, the store was clean and it looked like the employees had just gotten mcclanes which is the largest delivery of the week. Pretty clean. Good selection. Cashier was nice and talkative. We'll likely go again
I was so blessed to see the clerk (or owner, the lady one) show someone kindness who needed it. I was digging around to find something to help with, but she was already outside taking care of him. The service is great! I prefer to vote my dollars to people and businesses like this one.
Bought a couple of pizza and some other stuff asked the lady if she could cook them she said yeah. Cool went outside to my truck started watching a show and the nice lady brought me my pizzas out to my truck. Which I think is really cool for 7-Eleven
This was the Go To for a Cold One back when the days of living in the Lair Hill but now, where is the friendly faces??? Must card still for beer, since I have not been under 21 in some many years, right??? Still, if the price is right, you say yes.
Bought a couple beers, neither of them scanned. Then got rung up for more than $1 over the price for each beer, but because it was rung up generically, the receipt isn't helpful ("general grocery"). The guy was nice though. So one star for that.
impossible to get a drink because all the cases are locked and when you try to leave, a robot tells you that you're being monitored... for your own safety, of course. if people are stealing food it's because they're hungry. absolute demons.
The stores constantly out of product there's never anything in the hot case they refuse to make a pizza for you or anything. Lazy employees, store is filthy! The day time lady is very rude and changes price on items.
The most friendliest staff I've ever run across and the most smoothly efficiently run 7-Eleven I've ever been in hands down not even another 7 Eleven even compares when it comes to customer service
Daytime they're great but at night the lady is a lazy and mean. I saw a price marked a certain way and she would not look at it and just went with the register. Orange car late night cashier. Mean
Nice people but no public bathroom which is half the reason I imagine most people come here. It's ridiculous how hard it is to find somewhere to safely and cleanly use the bathroom in downtown.
I work nights and the store says open 24• but everytime I go there is a sign on the door saying closed until 4am so inconvenient especially when it’s advertising open 24 hours
Please fix the Slurpee machines: they're consistently not icey. It's just liquidy soda. Given that this is one of the few reasons to go to 7-Eleven, it should be fixed.
There was absolutely not a reason whatsoever for a cash register person to open their mouth in my general direction in a shittey manner today 10.28.2021 at 8.52am
They were nice but kind of unorganized. They were accepting cash only and both clerks just kinda stood around while there was a line of people waiting to pay.
I stop here early in the mornings. Usually nobody except me in there. Fast courtesy service. Parking can be tight when delivery trucks are in the parking lot.
I absolutely love this store and used to stop by here every day almost. If Derek the big redhead guy still works here tell him hi from Tony for me!
I'm not sure why the man was so mean, but I don't think I've ever been so disrespected . Dislike. Go to duniway market up the street . …
I called to ask what temperature to cook one of their pepperoni pizzas, and the dude actually answered and said “385 chief”. 5 stars.
Friendly staff, reasonably priced snacks. Only down side was they didn't have the chips i wanted, and had to get another flavour
Why would I even bother stopping buy another 711 my last experience was indescribably just horrable.
The guy threatened to fight me when I asked why he was scanning a candy bar from behind the counter.
Why are customers not allowed to use the restroom? It is the very most basic service you can offer.
There machines work like they are suppose to, very clean and service was wonderful.
The employees and owners are always incredibly nice and helpful.
No bathrooms. No stock. No service. Won't bee coming back here
Excellent staff at the store very friendly. My favorite 711
The shopkeeper are always warm to say Hi to their consumer
Great, except for some of the clientele and employees.
Wouldn't take my American spirit coupons, hard fail
