Fair prices and excellent service. We had an attempted burglary and were left with a door in urgent need of repair. I made an enquiry with A&E via WhatsApp, they got back to me really quickly and were able to make a visit to my property the same day to replace the existing locks and measure up for a replacement glass for the damaged door. Really appreciative of Les for explaining the options available to me for replacement lock and glass panels without upselling. A&E will absolutely be my go to for any future locksmith related services (hopefully under better circumstances). Communication between initial enquiry and follow up visits to fit replacement locks, handles and glass was great. Les and Alex worked really efficiently and had our new locks etc fitted in next to no time! Thank you!

So greatful to the help given today. Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service. Very prompt in answering the phone, discussing the issue at hand and getting to my property. Was very reassuring that he would come and not leave until entry was regained to my flat - it may seem common sense to some but after the morning I had that meant a lot. Good price and given the fact I don't use cash, and it being an emergency situation, I was so greatful that he had a card machine ! Went above and beyond to make sure I was happy before he left which I certainly was. My mum and me have both saved number for any future issues that may occur as we was so pleased with the service.

I am so grateful to Les for fixing my back door handle which had broken off completely. Grateful because:- 1. It was a Sunday morning and 2. When I called him he was on the golf course (but still answered his phone!). He called me back when off of golf course and came and fixed my problem. Even was able to supply a new door handle. Totally professional and i was very happy with the quality of his work. I hope he enjoyed his roast dinner and that it was better than the round of golf he'd had that morning! Les and team are truly brilliant. Having a broken key in a lock, Les refused to be beaten in its removal AND to find the reason why the lock had jammed. Diligently refusing to give in, Les eventually found a rogue screw in the mechanism - then, having acknowledged his team had fitted the mechanism a year ago, refused to accept any payment and apologised for the faulty lock!!! Great humour (true service with a smile) and a proper customer centric approach. 5*. Definitely recommend.

Just excellent. I used a locksmith before and he advised me the part for my door was not obtainable and never came back. I rang Lez after a second opinion was needed. He arrived on time. He was excellent start to finish and I now have my locks changed. It was just an easy task for him. I would advise anyone looking for a good locksmith who is honest is to use him. Really lovely to deal with a locally-based family firm. The sorted out a door lock which would only open sometimes with a new and improved barrel. Turned up really quickly and did everything with no fuss. We also got them to cut some new keys for us as well as we have a fairly full household. Had a great experience with A&E Locksmith today for new locks, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Les carried out our requested work with great care and efficiency, helping explain everything we needed to know to make the right choice for our needs. I highly recommend Les as a locksmith, and I am glad I waited for him. Not only was he skilled and was able to work with my not-straightforward door/frame, he took his time, checked in with me every now and again, explained how to use the new locks, and communication was top-notch via text. Also made suggestions on other locks and keys that we had not considered before.

Exceptional attention when called (mid evening) to sort out problem with my 90 year old mother's door. Les was considerate to her needs and her age and prompt and efficient in the work carried out. Reasonably priced for the job which required doing and it only took him 10 minutes to get to her home. I cannot recommend this company (Les) enough.

Arrived in less than fifteen minutes when I locked myself out. Fixed the problem, taught me how to use the locking mechanism properly and was enormously professional and helpful. Very reasonable charge. Happy to recommend without reservation.

I called A&E to fix a broken lock on a UPVC door around midday today, and they visited at around 5pm same day. Great service and fixed the problem with a new part that was in stock in the van. Perfect!
