I recently had a dental procedure at A Better Smile Dental Centre - Lane Cove, and I must say it was a highly disappointing experience. Not only was I overcharged for the services, but the quality of the dental work I received was far below expectations. The initial estimate provided to me was significantly lower than the final bill I received after the procedure. I expected some variations, but the difference was unreasonable and completely unjustified. There was no clear explanation provided for the additional charges, leaving me feeling taken advantage of as a patient. Secondly, the dental procedure I underwent has resulted in ongoing issues, which were not present before visiting this clinic. It appears that the dentist either lacked the necessary skills or did not invest enough time and effort to ensure the work was done correctly. As a result, I now find myself seeking a second opinion and additional treatment elsewhere, incurring even more expenses and inconvenience.

If you live in the Lane Cove area and need a new Dentist then call “A Better Smile Dental Clinic” now. They have looked after my whole family for about the last 5years and will continue to be our dentists of choice. We’ve trusted their great team of Doctors with general dentistry, dentures and, very soon, also Invisalign for corrective purposes. The staff are all friendly and all very capable so no matter your level of ease with dentistry you are looked after with care, and skill from start to finish. Good dental health is very important and my kids are so proud of showing off their heathy teeth (and reporting in with a Tooth Fairy update) at their 6-monthly checkups with Dr. Vukasin). I’ve never been happier with the level of care they receive. A Better Smile will soon be helping my son feel good about his smile with Invisalign. It seemed like a natural choice to give A Better Smile the job of correcting his tooth positioning, given their excellent experience in the area.

OMG what an awesome surprise, Today I received a follow call out of the blue after almost 5 years since Last visiting, I already thought Dr Joel was the best, kindest and most compassionate dentist I had ever had the pleasure of being treated by. Why ? although my teeth were disgusting and badly decayed, there was not judgemental attitude just empathy and genuine concerns for my long term health. So today just reinforced that option, why did they call ? Not for follow up treatment, not for anything remotley to do with making me a future customer, but simply to see how I was and if there had been any issues with the work I had done 5 years ago. I have nothing but the highest regard for Dr Joel and the entire Team at this practice. Better Smile Lane Cove have been very good over many years as my dentist and I highly recommend them. They are polite, helpful and excellent dentists. I normally see Dr. Paul Vlastian, his dentistry is of the highest level, in fact I call him the Picasso because of his very high skill level & competence in rebuilding or constructing a broken tooth from practically nothing. I have never felt any pain getting the numbing needle from Paul. Their staff including Monica at reception are alk excellent, the head dentist and owner Joel, is a very nice caring person and also a great dentist. This practice has been extremely helpful to me over the years, nothing is too much trouble, which is why I am pleased to give them an excellent review and my highest recommendation. I would strongly recommend ‘A Better Smile Dental Care’ to anyone! I attended this clinic for a cosmetic appointment after chipping a fake filled composite front tooth. I was also interested in veneers as my front six teeth all featured a different morphology. Dr Kligman, Craig, and the other friendly staff at this clinic worked to replace my fake front tooth with a porcelain crown, and built up my other five front teeth to make them all appear more uniform in shape and transparency. The colour of my front teeth match perfectly, and the crown and my other central front tooth are indistinguishable. It had been 10 years since I had two matching front teeth. If you are looking for a great dental experience than A Better Smile Dental Centre is what you need. I have been coming to this centre for a few years now and I am beyond happy with the way my teeth are. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with beautiful smiles by Juliana and Monica who are super helpful, friendly and have professional customer service. You'll feel comfortable and confident, they go above and beyond. Dr Joel, Dr Adriana and Dr Mariam are amazing, they are very gentle, helpful and they're certain that they give you the best results. As soon as you lie down they make sure you feel comfortable and at ease. The team/staff at A Better Smile are second to none. I can't recommend them enough.

Firstly I tried to do Invisaligns, but it didn’t work for me. I didn’t like the pressure and that I had to have them 20 hours a day. (Please note that my teeth been very crooked and I am over 30 yo) Honestly it was completely my fault as doctor told me all this, but I thought I will try. After that I decided to do veneers and I knew that it wouldn’t make my smile perfect, but it will make a big difference. Yes, veneers made a huge difference. I had them now for more than 12 months. At the start I felt a bit strange, but it only took about 3 weeks. It is definitely did a big boost of my confidence. Dr Kligman was honest and knowledgeable. It was very easy to communicate with him and his team.

I visited this dentist on the 30 March 2020. I had a suspected cavity/infected tooth which was advised to be extracted. I was charged a huge fee for the consult, X-ray and extraction. With my private health insurance it still came to a total of $750 which I feel is unusual and excessive as my partner and father have recently had similar (if not more) work done, but they paid less than half what I was charged. As this was an emergency and I was in quite a bit of pain, I didn’t have time to shop around. But in the future will be looking for somewhere more affordable. The work itself, was done professionally and my extraction site is healing well.

Receptionist Monica, Dr Joel, Nurse Vanessa, and Hygienist Zara made my Invisalign experience so seamless from day 1. The team felt like family and I am honestly over the moon with my results. I’ve been through 5 different dentists to only be overpriced and disappointed. The whole process at the lanecove clinic was seamless, I had no painful stages and my teethe feel amazing. I am so glad I came across such a beautiful team. If you are someone with crooked teethe feeling sceptical about getting your teethe examined, I recommend this place x1000. I will be a forever customer at the lanecove clinic. This is a five star clinic for sure.

Better Smile is the best dentist my family and I have been to ever. Professsional and friendly. Initially it was my wife and then my children who went but I was reluctant to believe their glowing reports but I went and wow they are were right - fabulous. Dr Kligman is outstanding - I have had a lot of problems getting things sorted out with my teeth in the past yet he has fixed things so well. The staff are also so friendly. Monica on the front desk makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed. I never thought I’d say this but it is a pleasure to go to the dentist.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Joel & Craig worked together to make my smile beautiful again ( my previous dentist did a shocking job ) I love my new veneers, I can’t stop smiling. When I looked in the mirror I actually cried. The veneers are a PERFECT match to my bottom teeth and look so natural, I’m so happy! I love this place. I am (hopefully!) almost at the end of my 1 and a half year treatment with Dr Adriana, Despite being in the middle of the city, they were cheaper by about 2k then the other places I went to (this is for normal, fixed metal braces). They are always very friendly. Every time I go in, all I have to do is sit back and relax to the usual blast-from-the-past RnB they have playing (I thought this was hilarious for a dentists office the first time I went in).

Most dental experiences have given me anxiety in the past but it was the opposite at A Better Smile Dental. I was immediately put into a state of comfort and ease by Juliana at the front desk who has a genuinely warm and friendly personality. Much the same with Dr. Kligman who fitted me with a front veneer that has the perfect shape and matching colour. I was in and out in no time and the price was also extremely competitive. I have been A Better Smile Dental patient for almost 7 years now. The centre and doctors are very professional, caring and very thoughtful to the patient.
