A.C.J Phakade is the second Primary School to be built in the Nomzamo/Lwandle township, like many other schools it was also a result of overpopulation of students. The construction of the school started in 1996 and finished in 1997. I also attended this school in 1998 till 2003 when i left for high school.
ACJ Phakade is a haven for children in Nomzamo Informal Settlement. The Principal and his staff is doing an excellent job to make sure the learners have a good education in a safe place.
One and only well organized clean Primary School in the are of Somerset. Written and Visible walls with values and principles of successful life. Wow!
