I came here to get the lock on my driver's side door fixed. This was something they said they would be able to handle even though my car is a Ford and they really specialize in imported cars. Still, they came highly recommended to me and for the price of labor ($200+), I figured hey, they should be able to handle it right? WRONG. When I came to pick up my car, the battery had died while it was there! They gave me the excuse of it having been left there for a while (it was only there for two days) and that they have to move it inside at night. Neither of these things would have killed the battery. Someone must have left a light on in my car or something. A bad look either way. Then I drove the car home and noticed the lock was still busted! It can be locked using the key manually, but not using the remote. In fact, the lock button on the remote locks all the other doors while unlocking the driver's side door! If they had been the reliable auto shop I believed them to be, they would have checked this in the initial diagnostic and before giving me my car back and taking nearly $500 of my money. But they did not. Turns out it needed an additional part to fix a wiring issue. Again, I believe this is something they should have noticed in the first place, especially for how much they charge for labor. I told them no thanks and I'll take it to another auto shop that won't let my car battery die while it is there.

New review: About 3 years ago (?) I moved from Albuquerque to Tucson AZ and my vehicle itself has been in Deming. After sending my vehicle to all the most reputable shops in Deming only to get ripped off, I sent my vehicle back to these guys. It cost me money to have my vehicle shipped to ABQ Quality Auto but it was worth every penny. They are professional and efficient. Art and Seth have earned an outstanding reputation for this shop and it is well deserved. Emmanuel is great too and you can tell he works hard to preserve that excellent reputation. I was on a road trip passing through Albuquerque when car problems forced me to call a tow truck. I didn't know the town or where to turn and thought my Honda might require special knowledge to fix. My usual mechanics referred me to Seth, as the best Honda diagnostician in Albuquerque, when they couldn't determine the source of my Accord's intermittent performance problem. Seth performed extensive diagnoses but could find no mechanical issues but did notice a potential intermittent ground issue. The car has worked without issue since he cleaned the grounds. The dogged search for the cause of my car's problem and thinking outside the box resolved the mystery of the intermittent performance. The charge was quite reasonable,. the service excellent and the personnel helpful and personable. I had submitted a CarFax review and apparently screwed up selecting the stars. My review should have been 5 Star as that is the accurate review.

ABQ Quality Auto Service recently worked on my Honda Pilot. They truly made my 12 to 13 year old vehicle feel brand new again. I haven't ever felt it run so smooth since I have had it in my possession, and I feel that their work has just given my vehicle the ability to continue running for several years longer than I expected. They do great work, and they are also very friendly and honest. If you are unsure of where to take your vehicle, you will not regret taking it to Art and Seth. I moved to Albuquerque a year and a half ago and had yet to find a mechanic that I wanted to continue going back to. They are the best in town! This was my 2nd time coming to the shop and they were able to get me in less than 3 weeks with as busy as they are that's quick! What drew me to this shop is the initial customer service of setting up an appointment and when I came to drop off my car the continued hospitality. What I appreciate the most is their communication. Art determined the source of a leak on my Accord, ordered and replaced the seal and test drove the vehicle to ensure the leak was repaired. Fabulous car repair place. My check engine light came on while traveling across the country. Even though they were very busy, Art took the time to diagnose my problem. He then ordered the needed part and had the car repaired it in just a couple of hours. We were back on the road feeling good about our car. If I lived in ABQ this would be my go to car shop. I can't say enough good things about this place . Honest communication, good prices, quality work.

Quality is right! I'm not from Albuquerque and was in a time crunch to make sure the car was going to run without failure. They squeezed me in despite their full shop calendar. Taking my circumstances into consideration, they bent over backwards to accommodate me and also did fabulous work repairing the car. If I lived anywhere in the Albuquerque area, I'd bring all my vehicles to these folks for all regular maintenance and repairs.

Best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. Art was very professional and nice. I brought my 05 Honda Odyssey to them. to look at a few of my concerns. They gave me a timeframe that they would call be back after they looked at the issues I asked on. they called me back before they the deadline they gave me ,explained the issues with the van and gave me cost up front prior to doing any work. They are very fair with there prices. They looked at my ball joints and stated that the boots needed to be replaced but my ball joints were sound. Considering Garcia Honda stated that the ball joints and arm needed replacement for well over a thousand with labor just goes to show that ABQ quality isn’t in it for Ill gotten money.
