Ok I finally made my 1st ALDI trip. I was prepared with my quarter but a nice gentle man gave me his cart so I passed it along as well when I left. I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't a save-a-lot... They do have so pretty good prices but the meat I was kinda iffy about so I just got a small pk of pork chops for that night and Holly mother!! My dad is a but her so you could say I know my way around a piece of meat and I didn't even realize that pork chops could be this tough!! They don't carry everything you'll find at Winn-Dixie or Publix or maybe it's that they only have 2 brands instead of 200 but they did have some stuff I've never seen anyway like doggie ice cream treats?? Hey to each their own!! But all in all it was pretty cool

This store is a 5 star store. I forgot a quarter to get a buggy and they gave me one.. The prices are fair and they have a nice selection of cheeses. A lot of their items are healthy with no GMO's, gluten, etc. I do wish they had a better selection of sodas. They have a nice selection of beers and wines, that are actually affordable. The fruits and vegetables are brought in daily. Meat on the other hand is good if you get there before everyone else. They have Salmon that isn't frozen. Is the serials taste just like the name brand ones. The lines can get long at times, so pack some patience. Oh yeah, bring your bags. You can buy bags but you might as well bring your own and you sack your own groceries as well. Is happy shopping

I love Aldi. Affordable prices, great selections. Sometimes specific items can be hit or miss being in stock, especially when it comes to the produce since it’s delivered daily. The majority of their brands I end up liking better than the “name brands” of items. For example, the rounds crackers instead of Ritz. My son is the one that said it first! Also, I LOVE their cheese area. They have a LARGE variety of delicious and specialty cheeses for a fraction of the cost of what you would pay at Publix or Whole Foods. Some of my favorites are the garlic & herb goat cheese, queso fresco, feta. The staff is always kind. Bring a quarter for a cart, and don’t forget your bags!

What can I say, it's ALDI! Very clean store, smartly arranged, they obviously put careful thought into aesthetic as well as logistics. Good selection, not as varied as a full-scale supermarket but perfectly adequate. Interesting if you like European or niche products. Prices are competitive but it's obvious the management is not competing on price as no one can beat Walmart. Instead they provided interesting and varied selection and a pleasant customer experience. The business with depositing a quarter for a shopping cart it's still a bit weird and annoying, but I suppose it does keep stray carts out of the lot.

I'm a big Aldi's fan and this one's pretty decent. It's usually well stocked and well maintained. They're pretty good about opening up another Lane if it starts to get backed up not all the time but most of the time. And as you well know here today gone tomorrow. And a lot of things are seasonal so hopefully they'll come back next year. It's a double-edged sword sometimes you get things that you really like and they only have them for a couple of trips and they're gone and other times you get something that you don't like and it seems like it's there forever. This Aldi is way better than the one in Yulee! The staff member outside set the mood and tone for what’s to be expected inside the store. I don’t know his name, but he was very nice and professional. He cleaned the cart and told us about the arrows along the price tag and how they are limiting how many people can be allowed inside due to the current pandemic. The cashier we had was very patient with the customer before us, she was also very quick at scanning and apologized for the wait, even though it wasn’t her fault.

I am a woman of age, on Friday evening I was in Aldi's shopping, taking my time finally I made it up to cashier, I said I am the only person shopping this evening, the young lady said we close at 8:00, bagged up went to the car looked at the time it was 8:50. Not one of the young ladies said a word they just let me walk around and I passed by a couple of them, they said nothing. This was the one over by the airport...5 100 Great place to shop....

I really Enjoy shopping at this very clean and well stocked Aldi. I have shopped at Aldi for many years and some in Texas and some in Oklahoma. This store near the Jacksonville Airport has to be one of the Very Best Aldi's EVER!! Kat and Kimmie are the greatest! Thank you for your very polite and excellent service, & keep up the tremendous work Ladies , it really shows that this store cares about it's customers. It is a pleasure to get to shop here!!

We loved Aldi’s before they came to Florida since we visited Indiana quite often. Then we found out that there were a few down south so we were sure to swing by them when we were close. My wife emailed the Corporation and asked when they were coming to Jacksonville. So for all of the Aldi lovers in Jax you can thank my wife. Lol The River City area Aldi is great. Clean and today was fully stocked.

Customer service was not good. First time in an Aldi's store. One of the Associates or a Manager was in the store greeting and helping some customers and others he completely ignored. I was standing in line register 2 with 3 items, he looked at me and went to the next register and touch a lady and said you only have a few items I can help you at register 1. Not a good first impression for me.

Worst experience ever. They don't provide bags. I bought a package of cheese and it is moldy and not the good kind of mold. When I tried calling them all I got was an automated message about how they don't answer the phone because they want to save money. I am never shopping at Aldi's ever again after this. All they are is a dressed-up Save-A-Lot and that is not a compliment

The produce here is always rotten. I've never had this experience at any other aldi but in the years I've lived on the Northside, anytime I visit the peoduce is rotten. Literally, brown spots, liquid, smells, mold. And you tell multiple people and they just say, "okay". Recently several cold things I bought were over 2 weeks expired. I just drive to the Westside now.

This is my first time using insta cart and I'm having a horrible time, the employees and supervisors are liars and have no power of athority I've shopped on aldi's march 11th and placed my order for March 12th at 11am my order changed every hour for it to be delivered no one resolved my issue it is now 4pm and I still have not gotten my food WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

The store personnel deserve 5 stars. They are great. But the store is still out of stock for what we went to purchase. Last time there, it was out of stock and the hurricane was to blame. Because they get trucks daily (per the employee we spoke with), there shouldn't be as many holes. Is there a supply chain issue or has Corporate dropped the ball?

Wahoo!! Bring a quarter, bring your bags but leave half of your money at home!! Same great store same great prices. This is the newer Aldi layout with larger isles. They have mostly private label products with good or great quality. If you are looking for good produce at great prices this is your store.

Came here and a homeless lady wanted some cherries. (There are tons of homeless here with signs at the red lights by the way). We got here some cherries. She followed us around the store the whole time until we were ready to checkout. She got her cherries and off she went. The end.

Just left Aldi‘s after shopping. Couldn’t get checked out. One checkout person, seven people in line. I put my stuff down and left. I normally go to the Utley store and have no problems at all. Now I know why. I’ve been to the one at River city for my last time. Don’t bother.

What in the worst than save-a-lot is going on at this location? CLEARY Rotten fruit and vegetables everywhere. I’m honest embarrassed for suggesting to bring my kid here for groceries. We stuck to the frozen section and hurried to the one

I am shocked at the horrible customer service that I just experienced at this store today on 9/21/23. I came in after 7pm when they are winding down for the night and I just needed to swap out a bag of salad that had gone bad before

Good place to shop. However, last couple times I have gone in the milk is so disgusting. Someone should clean the crates it's sitting on. Also, don't charge someone for a bag that they have purchased already, Ask before you assume!

I appreciate Aldi's opening up on the Northside. I bought an umbrella for an extremely good price. Going to Harry Potter schools a good umbrella is required. As a former patron of Scouting, they had a beautiful 6 man tent for $69.

Keep seeing ads for all the vegan goods aldi brand carries now. I guess just NOT this one. There was a couple items. But nothing that's advertised. The store is nice and clean with good selection of other foods.

We have grown to love Aldi's. They have great prices on a wide selection of products. Their store brands are great too. Each time we go the store is a bit more crowded. The word is getting out.

Not a bad place, Aldi has improved a lot since I used to shop there as a kid many years ago. They even have a decent wine and beer section. It was alot cleaner the Walmart and prices where good

Great place to buy most grocery necessities . Good prices. Lacks selection options. Shelves remained empty in finds section for many days. Poultry shelf is empty after 6, nothing to grab.

Aldi never disappoints! Products change weekly and you might not get the best choice of produce. It’s not a one stop shop for everything but they have great prices on specialty items.

This is my favorite Aldi store in Jax! It’s clean, well stocked, and the employees are friendly. Charles rang up my groceries today and he was so friendly and helpful. Five Stars!

Large selection of items reasonably priced. Their brand of canned goods are sometimes no good though. Meat prices are higher than other stores. Over all it's very satisfactory.

Clean and organized. Plenty of groceries, produce and meats. Has a small wine selection did not see a beer section..yet. Prices are comparable to Walmart and Winn Dixie stores.

I regularly shop at Aldi's & was very happy when this store moved nearby. They have a variety of products at reasonable prices. Fresh fruits & vegetables are very good quality.

The store is always very clean. Good selection of items for a smaller sized food store but I prefer it over other chains. Produce is always fresh. The staff is friendly.

I absolutely love ALDI. The prices are extraordinary and you can find all kinds of fine cheeses and unique items. I love finding household items at discount prices.

My favorite store. Deducted 1 star for long line. There is 5 or so cash registers ......I don't understand why 2 registers are not consistently open ALL the time.

Went to the Grand Opening and had a great time! The store is very nicely designed with wide aisles, and the cooler/wine sections both are styled nicely.

Good as general, but I believe Aldi needs to add a few more deli products for travelers like us, that don't like to go to restaurants all the time.
