The cashier, a male, didn't greet or welcome me. Just told me the price. Didn't thank me. Just walked away after sale was complete. It was terrible customer service. 2/11/2021 once again I received terrible service at this store, this time from Mary. She totally ignored me. I better her and she didn't respond. No thank you! Nothing. Yet she started talking to the customer behind me before finishing my transaction. There is definitely discrimination going at this store. She was totally unprofessional and definately needs to be retrained that ALL customers are important. The service has gotten better. At least they thank you most times. They are still not overly friendly, but there has been a little improvement. Their service has gotten better the last two times shipped there. There is hope for this store now. Well, back to discrimination by a cashier named Cynthia here. She greeted and talked to the lady in front of me and the man behind me, but all I got was, "here's you receipt." No greeting, no thank you, just lousy discriminating service. It was better, but now it's taken a u turn. Hope they get their act together and starting each and every customer with the same courtesy and respect, but probably just wishful thinking. This time the cashier was very friendly. Glad they hired a good one.
Pretty good store over all. It's ALDI so it's not fancy but the quality is good and the store is kept clean and well stocked. The prices are usually excellent. There are generally plenty of organic options, as well as gluten free items, like cauliflower crust pizza. ALDI is no frills, so come with your own bags or be prepared to buy them. Also the shopping carts require a quarter deposit. There is a decent selection of beer and wine, but like most ALDI products you won't generally find the national brands... ALDI is the price friendly version of Trader Joe's, which branched off from ALDI like in the 90s or something. But they are both German businesses. I've been to ALDI in Germany and the US version is maybe a little fancier these days. ALDI used to be more ratchet back in the 90s. But they've improved dramatically since then
It's a very clean store, and they're improving the layouts of the various stores, oddly not the same as other Aldi's, so once you learn the layout it's nice. Employees are friendly, helpful, and efficient. You can buy bags there or grab some empty boxes as you're shopping, but many bring their own reusable bags. There is a counter after you pay, that allows you to pack your own bags or boxes. You also need a quarter for a cart, which you will get back when you return the cart. They've been introducing new items, specifically vegetarian and vegan, however they don't have them for very long. It's a bit of a double-edged sword, because if you don't know if you like the item you'll want to try it, but then you risk them not having them again.
Aldi has gotten WAYYYY out of hand with their price hikes. I know; inflation, rising costs, blah blah blah (whatever you have to tell yourself to justify the greed/profiteering in the current business climate,) but they just seemed to take it to the extreme. Spent $105 a couple days ago on what would have cost me $70 tops a few months ago. Combined that with the fact that they're constantly out of tons of things I need and it's just not worth it; especially when I can get much of the same items plus a ton more at Kroger or Walmart for nearly the same price or (in some cases) cheaper. Wont be returning until they come back to reality with their prices...
I visited today. I give this place three stars. The items I needed were stocked and available, but the service at the register left much to be desired. "Mary" is selective with her treatment of customers. She barely spoke to me, but with the lady behind me she was laughing and treating her like a queen. Apparently not all customers are valued or deserving of friendly, courteous service. Seems to be the standard these days. Otherwise, the store is convenient, well stocked, and reasonably priced. Update: good service this time!
I love that l can get around at Aldi in a short amount of time and get almost everything l need I love their extra non-food items they have pans rugs candles throws sometimes furniture a variety of items every week There Crofton brand is dependable many are unique you're not going to find somewhere else really awesome and priced well For a grandmother on Social Security this is definitely my go-to store Well it was my go-to store before Social Security but especially now
I LOVE ALDI'S.. Been going here since 1984! And through the year's their prices HAVE GONE UP.. EXSPEALLY NOW With All The INFLATION HICKS!! Even Going Here NOW I Can SOMETIMES Barley Afford This Store.. ♀️ But I Will CONTINUE TO go here As it IS Still Pretty Much More CHEAPER Than Those BIG BOX STORES.. And Their Food Is GOOD!! Thank You ALDI'S For ALWAY Being There When I Need To Make A Outta 15 Cent..
In Michigan, Aldi has a reputation for having great produce. This Aldi belongs to that club although selection was limited because we shopped late afternoon on a Sunday and much had been removed by eager shoppers earlier in the day. Nevermind that though as one of the staff cheerfully produced a full tray of lettuce upon request for us to peruse. Personal service plus great produce equals salad happiness!
I go here quite often when I have very little money and need food because it is cheap and for the most part they can have very nice products and groceries you can’t find in other places. But at times I’ve come into this store and the produce is just rotten and it makes me angry because they promise fresh produce everyday and it’s not. I walked in one day and all the bananas were spoiled! Unbelievable!
Always Great Prices, fruit and fresh vegetables top shelf and tasty. Very budget friendly, ifines get long they open another register quickly. Customer Service is the best and always friendly. If you've never been to a Aldi store you should go, if it's been awhile since your last visit you should go again and check it out now, go ahead, be pleasantly surprised at what you see and find.
this is one of the only aldis i go to, so i may be biased. But this aldi is always fully stocked with hardly anything blocking the aisles. They have alot of carts, and i honestly like their fruit. Aldi chicken is usually strange looking to me so i dont buy meat from here but their frozen food is usually good. Pretty reasonably priced if you are a parent on a budget.
For all intents and purposes, my local Aldi is my only place for shopping as I am carless. I visited this afternoon to stock up on staples --- breakfast berries and bananas, 2% milk, plain yogurt, lemonade, green tea, cereal. All were very reasonably priced and I had enough to also buy one of their limited-time specials --- belVita protein cookie/biscuits. Yum!
Unbeatable prices — as with other Aldis, you may not find exactly what you’re looking for, but this is a good reliable option for week-to-week necessities. Friendly customer service too! My first time there last year, I didn’t know about the cart-for-a-quarter system — the cashier very kindly explained it to me and I’ve been a loyal customer since.
Always busy and only 2 cashiers at most at any given time. I like saving money as much as the next person but it seems like you have to pay for the savings with your time. Customers walking out with items because they’re waiting 15 minutes, grocery carts wheels locking up, & poor customer service are some of the reasons why I give 2 stars.
This updated Aldi sports an easy to navigate floor plan and clean signage. The facility has above average cleanliness and is usually well stocked. As with any Aldi location, you must have a quarter to use a cart. However, the carts have been recently replaced and have seating for two toddlers. The staff is helpful and friendly.
Pretty nice Aldi, though I feel they have fewer selections than their neighboring Aldi’s. The staff is alright, the cashier who rang up my things asked how my day was going, and seemed genuine. Always love the cheese selections. Relatively clean, but unfortunately it comes with your Aldi anticipated very long check out lines.
The store is always clean and well stocked. The employee's are always polite. My only complaint is that the store is crowded every time I go and there is only a couple cashiers open so the wait in line takes long time whether you have a couple items or a whole cart. It's bad enough that I dont shop there if I dont have too.
Aldi's has done an excellent job of maintaining well stocked shelves during the pandemic. The cashiers are always fast and efficient. Good selection of items, and the store's size make it easy to come in for a few things or do enough shopping for the whole week. I like the aisle that has many household goods in stock.
I've been shopping Aldi's for 30 years, could not have raised 2 kids without it. The best prices and always has something else you might need. No hassle double back return policy on food, seldom have used. It's small enuf and stuff always in same place, do a week's worth if grocery shopping in several minutes.
If you haven't been in Aldi in recent years, like myself, let me tell you they have upped their game. So many organic clean, healthy options. Even some popular brands for a fraction of the price! The Aldi I shopped was clean, well stocked, and had a great selection of fresh options to choose from.
This location is always fully stocked and very clean. This is the Memorial Day weekend and they are offering the Absolute Best deals on everything you need from food to supplies and party favors that are All available here at an unbeatable price. Always a favorite place to shop here for my dime.
The value has gone down. They're almost as expensive as every other grocery store now, with less variety. It's still worth it for some items, but I don't shop here nearly as much as I used to. Now I only go if I need several of those items I know are still cheaper than Kroger and Walmart.
I went in for Connelly's Caramel Country Cream, for gifts. They did not have, but they had Connelly's Apple Pie. And I scored 2 bottles of Petit Chocolat specialty wine! YUMMO! A Huge THANK YOU to the customer who recommended that! "tastes like a chocolate shake!" Soooooo goooood! …
So far so good. They have had everything I needed each trip. Even several cheeses, desserts (Belgian pudding shots and lava cakes), and a few other surprises. Okay selection of Organics. Read your labels carefully. It’s a convenient location however does get an eclectic mix of shoppers.
I love shopping here. The prices are great and I have always been a fan. The people are great too. The cashier today was in a bit of a foul mood and didn't listen or pay attention to my requests but this is far from the usual. They are helpful and friendly and always efficient.
This place is very nice very clean and the workers are very very helpful, I have been shopping here since I was 18 I'm 41 years old now and they have even more cool stuff although I've never been rich I've always been able to come to Aldi's and get what I need.
I just moved from the northwest side of indy where there was aldi all over the place to this one where everyone and their grandmas shop I don't like it they dont have much stuff and the candles are never new the same old ones I will keep shopping at my old aldi
I left without buying anything after I had shopped and put four or five things in my basket the out line was so long it didn't make sense to wait. There was only one clerk checking people out. My guess is it's a staffing shortage which is the result of low pay
Great place .very very busy today being just before thanksgiving nut all in all wasnt too long wait in line not but a couple lines open till I am 2 away from cashier they start moving people over to open another checkout could have happened sooner it seems
The store is clean, but only half the staff speak and are friendly and the shelves are always half stocked or out of things. The selection of food choices has decreased. And I've been going to Aldi since 2004. I've watched the changes take place over time.
This is my favorite Aldi. They always have what I need in stock. I go to other stores and their shelves always seem to be empty but my Aldi has never disappointed. Their prices help me stay on budget even when I splurge on something from the "fun aisle".
Love shopping here, though I wish some the staffing was a bit kinder I can understand why they get an attitude, alot of rude customers come in and out the store, been shopping here ever since I moved out on my own for a few years now, great savings fosho
Love Aldi prices and selection. After you shop here awhile, you don't need another grocery. Each location has its own perks...my favorite is Troy & Madison in Indy, always clean & well stocked, helpful employees & better than average meat section.
This store leaves a little bit to be desired! Aldi stores in general lack quality and variety anyway, not sure why people would buy a whole grocery cart full of their tasteless food. Their cereal, potatoe chips and frozen fries etc are terrible.
It's too bad that you can't give 10 stars! Their prices are great, the store is always clean, and the associates from the cashiers to the management are always nice, very friendly, and extremely helpful! I refuse to grocery shop anywhere else!
I almost walked back out of the store when I first seen the checkout lines! But went ahead and got my few items and went up to checkout.... the lines was gone . Shows that the management at this store values the customers time!!!! Great job!
I love my neighborhood Aldi's. You can't beat it. They're friendly and nice to their customers, and I always leave with a buggy full of food at a way better price than Walmart or Kroger's!! It's always clean in there, and the bathrooms are
There are so many choices at Aldi, including Gluten free and organic products. The price es are reasonable, so as lo g as you arent "married" to a certain brand, you can save money and do a fine job of feeding a family shopping at Aldi's.
Awesome selection! Amazing prices! I guess Aldi is revamping a lot of their stores and making them bigger with better decor to boot. This is such a store and it is an improvement for sure. You can find almost everything you would at a
This is one of the regular places I shop for food preferably the fresh veggies and fruit. They are always polite, attentive, and caring. The store is always neat and organized. The cashiers know my family by face. Love it very awsome
Great discount grocery. Most all products are house branded. Prices are excellent as is the quality. Have only every tried one thing I wasn't completely pleased with. Easy in and out shopping. Don't forget your quarter for the cart
Aldi has a great selection and great prices. They have a section that has special items that change at a great value price and it's always really random items. I've seen mechanic led lights all the way to a Singer sewing machine.
Love this store. I'm so use to the East Side store on E. Washington St. But now that I live on Indy's South Side, I can honestly say that this is my new happy place. The manager deserves a trophy for #1 in Customer Satisfaction!
Love there low prices, and their employees are always nice. Just wish they had more employees to open up more registers. Other then that....i recommend anyone specially ones with family's. It helps finacially …
Love the healthy choices they have added in the past few months. Nice and clean! I so enjoy stopping here instead of a huge store. I can get my basic needs without fighting the "traffic" of a large grocery store.
Clean, courteous , helpful staff. Can't beat the prices. My "go to" grocery store. Only if I can't find it there do I branch out. Quality of food items has improved much over the years, along with the selection!
Great regular price with good quality organics. It's Aldi! This location is not giving further discount for surpluses very often like other Aldis. The sanitary wipes were not available at the door. Bring yours.
Better than the other food stores and variety too and cheaper prices on everything they have like a dozen dips to choose from too and veggies are better than Walmart or Kroger and meat looks better tasty too.
Our main grocery store. Always stocked nicely, well kept and very organized. They don't move stuff around every week. Very helpful employees and the cashiers get you out the store in a jiffy as well! 5 stars!
We love this Aldi. Friendly staff. Great items in stock for Awesome prices. Cool seasonal items all the time. I can’t recommend them more. It’s a solid store with staff that care. We always go here first.
4 Adults, 11 cases of water for 240 kids and they wanted to limit us to 6 cases?! "6 cases per person." Still gave us agony. Really? That's fine. I can buy large quantities even easier at Walmart.
Great store. Went on Saturday at 5pm. Had the store to myself. Very well stocked. And no line at the register. And very friendly cashier. This store blows Kroger southern plaza out of the water.
Definitely have stepped up their game. If you're over spending too much for name brands... this is the place to go. They've also stepped up customer service, the lines aren't quite as bad …
Aldi's is changed a little prices are down a bit and that's good news in this day and age. Easy to get in easy to get out don't forget you're all the bags and everybody have a great holiday
This store has improved greatly over the past years. Prices have remained a bargain while the quality of food has increased dramatically. My households go-to for a quick grocery trip.
I hate grocery shopping. Aldi is the best. Easy in and out, quality products, and line moves fast. Another stop here just as great as before. Still great prices and quality products
Nice, clean store with really fast checkout lanes. Don't be discouraged if you only see two cashiers. You'll get through and on your way out faster than the more expensive stores.
The store was very clean. They had most of the items I was looking for . Definitely saved a lot of money going here. Checking out was really fast but the guy was sort of blah.
It's a good store, very clean everything is self explanatory as to where things are located. The employees are always very polite and courteous and the prices are reasonable.
This is my favorite one by far because they have a bigger selection and it's so clean and I always get excited walking in with all the fresh produce! It's great. …
Very friendly staff! They have been out of bananas for month now. One cashier told me they have been selling all their bananas to one customer every morning. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Very clean store and nice staff. I was really impressed by the other items they had. I didn't know that they had houseware stuff and the prices were fantastic!
This a great Aldi's! Much more elevated! Large and well spaced! Great selections and fresh produce! Loved all the extras! Fast checkout, friendly atmosphere!
We love shopping at Aldi's. So many options that you can't find elsewhere and always amazing prices. Always super clean and great customer service as well.
Aldi is legit!! Nothing like it and excellent prices on some areas of the store!!! Just wish they had a rewards program for their loyal customers
The store was clean and well stocked shelves. Had no problem finding what I needed. Checkout line was kinda long but went surprisingly quick.
They always have what I'm looking for. The store is clean and well stocked. And friendly helpful employees. And best of all great prices.
Close home. Quick in and out. Always have the basics and good Cheese selection and we usually find one or two specials/different things.
My go-to location for all my grocery needs. I always find something new that expands my palette. The staff are always so nice as well.
Always been a fan. High quality food for great prices. Always clean and organized and I love the practical ways they lower over head.
Always clean and friendly employees. Would be 5 stars if they had more then 1 register open with a line of 20 customers waiting.
Always the best! My only complaint, self checkout lanes. I refuse to use them!!!!!! Taking jobs, more moneh for the Corp.
The revamping of this store was a very pleasant surprise. The selection is excellent now & the store is very clean again.
The selection was pretty good for a medium size grocery store. The prices are great if you don't buy any empty calories.
Store was clean and nice. Smelled good. Employee's where nice and helped me out. Definitely going back to this Aldi's.
Still a great store .the prices have went up but not buy much an they are not using the the small plastic bags anymore
Very good service, always clean and stocked. Parking lot has too many holes from their entrance to their exit.
Nice clean store. They have a lot of items I didn't expect to see. They just need a better selection of meat.
Came to get my kids a pool thank you cause everyplace else was out i love these pools perfect for my 2 lils
Week stocked, clean, had everything I needed, fresh produce looked great. Couldn't find cream of wheat. :/
Nice, clean store. Great prices. They don't have all the brand names, but what they have is priced right.
Looking for seasonal items, spatzel noodles. They always carry and now the don't. Spotty on needed items.
Some of these products do not have prices on them. Had to search for a pricer. Didn't like that too well
I can always count on going in for one item and leaving with $100 of things I didn't know I needed.
Plenty of parking nice clean vegetables appear to be better than most places. Pricing good
This is a German company. They do carry seasonal German items, ie Christmas, Easter, etc.
My favorite Aldi's, store is always clean, workers are friendly and helpful. Great deals.
Always love seeing what aldi has to offer. Prices were hi but heck what isn't these days
Love their food and prices . Some sale items don't get delivered to all of the stores.
Easy to find items great prices and only down side one cashier but they were speedy
The coworkers were mean to some lady for no reason..but besides that..pretty neat
Quality products, great value, friendly customer service, always clean and tidy
Good prices, good selection, friendly check out cashier. recommend …
The employees are amazing! Clean and organized store, quick checkout.
Good prices, clean store. Can find most of what you're looking for
Really fair prices and a great place to shop for certain items.
Clean, cheap and organized store , allittle bit of everything..
Not a very good selection and low inventory on most things.
Long lines sometimes, however it is a great store overall!
