I went to this particular store for 2 things: 1/ To return some baby clothing due to incorrect fit. 2/ To rectify a short payment on my refund for item returned previously. I was only refunded $10 while the actual cost was $25. I realised this mistake only a few days after the refund day and returned to the store to rectify this. At the store I queued up in the line for the till operator. Once my turn was up the lady at the checkout tried to attend to me. She had some difficulties in processing the refund on the items I was returning and had to call the store manager Ash. He appeared to not have the patience was very rude in the way he tried to assist her. Eventually this was sorted but when it came to processing the refund for the previous transaction i.e. the difference of $15 that was owed to me due to the error of the checkout person on the previous occasion, Ash did not want to do it straightaway and said to the checkout lady " he has to bloody wait". He then took the receipts to the checkout that he was operating and threw the receipts on the counter and asked me to wait, which I did. There was a long queue at the checkout that he was operating. I waited for him to deal with about 6 customers and he continued to ignore me. By then as It was getting late for me to pick up my grandchild from childcare I asked him whether I had to wait much longer to which he replied that I had to wait till he served all the customers who were in the line which stretched to almost half way down the store. I told him that this was not right as I had waited in the line in the first instance and now had to wait again. He started to get verbally abusive to me and sarcastically said " yah yah.........blah blah blah blah" whilst making fun gestures to me in a very rude and condescending manner. I was so embarrassed at having been spoken to like that and in front of so many people. By this time the lady in the next counter, who attended to me in the first instance, heard and saw all this and came to my aid. She said I now know how to process this and I will attend to you which she did straightaway and refunded what was due to me arising from a mistake from ALDI staff in the first place. (By the way this lady is one of the most pleasant staff that I had to deal with. Not only did she act professionally to diffuse the situation but the way she served her customers was so polite and engaging) She is an asset to your organisation while Ash who is the store manager and leader is totally the opposite, not only in how he dealt with customers but also his staff. I would suggest that he could learn a thing or two from this lady who apparently is junior to him. As a leader he is to lead by example but he is totally the opposite, unprofessional, shockingly rude and condescending. Instead of apologising to me and accepting the store's mistake in the first place, the inconvenience of me having to spend time and money to return to the store to get my refund, he verbally abused me!! I own few nursing homes and employ hundreds of staff and would never employ a staff like Ash as with such attitude he would be a liability rather than an asset! In the meantime as I had to pick up my grandchild, I had to leave, but this incident kept troubling me. I returned to the store later (after I had picked my grandchild) to get some information and contacts for me to pursue this matter further. Ash and the lady had already left by then as it was the end of the shift, I was told. At this time was attended to by 2 other persons who were in charge at the time. They apologised for what had happened and said that I should have never been treated in that manner by Ash.
I've been a regular at this particular store ever since it opened. The staff are always pleasant. And they are always very patient when it comes to placing your items on the conveyor belt and back again into your trolley. I find no problem with parking space either, as I choose not to park my car where everyone else wants to park.. all on the first level of the underground carpark. The shop isn't the largest supermarket, nor is it the smallest. It's a reasonable size and it sells a vast variety of products for it's size. As for prices, it's certainly much cheaper to fill my large trolley at Aldi. Compared to filling a half sized trolley at the other 2 major supermarkets. Which would still cost more, even though you get less. Which is the main reason why I prefer to shop at Aldi. Being on a fixed income I need to save every penny. And I can't help looking up their special buy items every week. Where else can you buy reasonably priced clothes one week, garden supplies the next, and STILL get the food items needed. Aldi's is definitely great value, in more ways than one.
Very Excellent customer service. Thank you to Kathy who was store manager at the time. I asked staff for help to unpack the christmas trolley due to multiple physical impairments not visible and they were very attentive and observed safety putting the pallet machine away being unpacked away for safety of all the other customers and to help me !!!! Thank You again to the helpful staff and wishing you all a very bright and happy new year. Ps: not my regular store either hence the review, praise where it is due. Stay safe and well everyone. Grateful Mum.
We found the bill was overcharged from today's bill. As a local customer, this is the third time we have found the discrepancy between the receipt and the money charged by ALDI. Can the store manager advise if the staff need more training or this is kind of ALDI system issues? Also, we would like to give zero star if it is allowed for the customer service of the staff with AUTH code:804248 on the receipt. Re 16/01/2022 18:56 Transaction
Staff at this store were always friendly and helpful (Sarah), the recent staff are rude and disrespectful one member practically shoved me aside to stock the shelves, and not to mention the Indian lady on the register that starts scanning products while the previous customer is putting in her pin number for her card, and she also rushes through the products, always enjoyed shopping at this Aldi, but it's time to shop else where.
Hate to have this Aldi in my local area. I went today and was at cash register at 7:30 ish. The small Asian guy on register was racist. There were 2 Caucasian women in front of me and he didn’t check their bags but checked mine. This Aldi always only check my gym bag, I usually shop here after my workout from Jetts. Manager should check the camera or that’s the mentality of store. Staying away from this nasty place.
Great place to shop for groceries, offers a variety of food, from Frozen seafood and veg to chocolate topping and icecream, Aldi BUNDOORA also advertises in there catalogue Special Buy items, made available to customers which change twice weekly.. Fast service by staff at checkouts, allow for bigger savings and offers a different way to shop. plenty of parking. Nice and convenient location. Highly recommend
I pop in here a lot on my way home from work. The staff a friendly and although its a smaller store i can usually get my hands on the specials im after. I like to park on the LG level and my only beef is parking is really tight in a Chrysler Voyager. Still, it's great having 2 levels undercover through the winter months so you can sort and pack your shopping without getting drenched.
One of the larger Aldi stores. Undercover car park on site with plenty of spaces. Usually have lots of stock of most items even the specials that come in once or twice a week. Well spaced in store, plenty of room to get your trolley around other shoppers or negotiate a pram or wheelchair. Staff are usually helpful and nice & store has been clean every time I have been there.
Waited in line for my turn then end up waiting again because the stuff of the person behind me got scanned. I was there for just vodka. He should ask before scan or give me a chance to say I’m here for a vodka. Time is everything, even stuff was scanned of the person behind me he should cancel instead keep scanning whole lot and made me wait. Disappointed
Heaps of much needed under ground parking. Generally, clean and tidy most of the time with a wide selection of everyday necessities. The staffs are mostly helpful and smiley most of the time. Take note that Aldi do not open after 8pm night compared to woolis which can be bummer if you need to buy something at night
Got what I wanted from the special buys. Was a bun fight and was surprised by people pushing into the queue (only to drop out as soon as the freezers weren't available). They still charge extra for credit cards, so with a sizable purchase it is still recommended to use the Savings EFTPOS option.
We go here 2 or 3 times a week, and I've absolutely had it with being constantly required to show them the inside of bags which are hanging limply from the trolley. Next time they ask, I will take out each bag one by one and open it, and will insist on them checking the inside of every bag.
It's location is relatively convenient and easy to find, although I found that it can get very cluttered in the underground car park and it's not very easy to maneuver a medium to large size car. Otherwise it's relatively decent Aldi in all other aspects.
This particular Aldi seems to stock alot more and I really like the underground parking. Doesn't seem as hectic as some other Aldi stores. I actually drive past 2 other Aldi stores to shop at this one because I enjoy it more and I feel more relaxed.
Five Star Service at Bundoora Aldi. Friendly and quick to help out, the staff provided me a very professional service this afternoon 25th of May, 2020. I bought an Aldi mobile phone SIM. I expect it to be as good as everyone says it is !!!
Always something different to look at and wonder about buying. I do not like not being able to see my purchases and the cost on the cash register as it is pointed towards the shop assistant and not where the customer is also able to see.
A decent sized store, this one has ample to move about. Like all Aldi stores, great prices and great value. Love their prawn gyoza! Great tasting dips too. They also have french pankcakes/pikelettes which are real nice and worth trying.
Damn you Aldi with your tempting middle aisle and quality food stuffs! Shut up and take my money!! Seriously, the margherita pizzas are top quality and they finally have shopping baskets! I dont have to balance miltiple items!!
This Aldi is easy to access, sometimes I drive there, other times I get there by tram after work (coming from the city). Staff are friendly. It's a rather spacious and well maintained store compared to other Aldi I've been to.
Always good products at a good value price. Bus stop right out front is useful when you have shopping, as is the tram stop. Underground parking is never full. Lift occasionally prone to break down but the ramps are fine.
Has a smaller selection than most supermarkets but makes up for that in price. good cheap meat and veg. However butternut pumpkin goes bad much quicker then at stores like Coles (not sure why, maybe less preservatives?)
Love going here, it was the first to get renovated. Always clean and tidy, staff always friendly. Car parking does suck with it being so tight at the top.. but I always park downstairs, lots more space to swing a cat
Aldi is a good store for some quick shopping. Limited variety but a good selection of all the staples, at a great price. They have occasional specials that can’t be beat, so check them out and see for your self!
My favourite Aldi store and I'm not even a local, this store is always well stocked and the service is top quality. Waiting times to be served is quite fast which is very convenient if your in a bit of a rush.
The car park here is pretty bad. Very tight to get in and out of. The store is mostly well kept, although like most aldi's, when they have special sales the good stock is always gone before you can get there.
Well set up, clean store and easy to find what you need. Eclectic range of products. Enjoy looking through the centre aisles, with the range of weekly offerings. Staff are friendly and helpful.
It's an average Aldi. Like most, trying to find staff is normally a search too long, but that's nothing unique to this particular branch. Normally well stocked and that what's most important.
Don't let the physical location deter you from doing your weekly shopping. The place is very organised, it's easy to find the items you need and great customer service. Highly recommended
It's good but I got the orange pulp 100%fruit juice with 1 month expiry date.. We came to know the details after purchasing 3 to 4 days... Just surprised how they can sell such product.
First time at this location and really liked it. It had some good deals that I hadn't seen at other locations. Also staff are friendly and also efficient. I'll definitely go back there.
This store looks great inside best ever i have been too. It is the design of the store that is appealing to shop at. Staff are very friendly and and service is good when not peak times.
Good quality and much cheaper prices . I notice some items still cheaper from prices of other supermarket prices that are even on special. Always have a chuckle when i notice this.
Great store love it has everything from food to clothing to brick a brack n great services they even called me a taxi to get home after buying my shopping lubley customer service
I love how I can drive into the undercover carpark, go up in the lift then straight into the store. Keeping out of the rain or the heat. I wish all stores were designed this way.
It was nice to be at Aldi for shopping...cooling system was excellent in this hot weather...beautiful service, good prices, available car par under the shade.... thank you
Out of everyone there, the cashier only targeted the obviously butch disabled lady when it came to checking bags, ignoring everyone else who brought their own bags.
Refurbishment is great, pity that the checkout scanned area has not been extended more, the odd 30cm l feel is not enough. The staff are great, and always helpful.
Good savings, but like all Aldi's, prepare to be served by a cashier who will not pretend they don't hate you, nor will they wait while you bag your groceries.
Good value shopping. Good place to visit if you enjoy catching the food they throw at you at the checkout. Good practice for the up and coming wicket keeper.
Been to many Aldis...Preston market, Summerhill and Northland. But they all can take some lessons from Aldi Bundoora. Clean set up and more variety and tidy.
At the time they were throwing away vast amounts of food!! A messy shop, but remodel looks good when they aren't wasting good that could be used or saved.
The undercover parking is spacious. The store itself is a bit too small with limited items, though. Good for quick shopping for something you need.
Clean and accessible without the hussle of a shopping center but the selection of wines doesn't match the catalogue or wines were sold out. …
Some amazing products can be found here. Apple danish. Pork ribs, frozen chips, corn, baby cucumbers, mushrooms. All from aldi Dinner is served!
I like shopping at Aldi. Aldi Bundoora was smaller than some other Aldi stores but it had everything the other shops had. Parking is very good.
Best aldi I've been to so far. Undercover carparking with lift access so nice and easy to get to and from the car even in terrible weather!
As usual go in to grab a couple of items and put them back when I see the queue at the register? Don't know why they don't have more staff?
Nice shop, parking is nuts with 2 lower levels, but less its there. Can be hard to get a spot in peak, but the Aldi is a good Aldi shop.
Great choice of products. Fresh veges. Bakery items are good. We always look at the catalogue to buy from Aldi. Great customer service.
Plenty of meat & toilet rolls .when you know where items are it is a breeze. Big aisles plenty of products. Plenty of Aussie products.
Aldi staff are annoying with their bag checks but the prices of similar products sold in Coles and Woolworth makes it worth visiting.
Lots of things to love about ALDI - good prices, weekly deals. My only real problem is that some of the deals sell out too quickly.
Great store, plenty of room, with bakery etc. makes it even better. Terrific for parking. All round excellent. Also great service.
Customer focused personnel, met an employee who was very nice and really charismatic and she made my experience there worth while.
Not a good variety. Can't get service at the check out. Lift didn't work. Overall! Won't be going there in a hurry. Not impressed.
I shop to Aldi's more than their competitors. Lots of air and space to breathe here. Aldi's a cool place to shop and saves more.
Lots of varieties in food. If you're a regular buyer at Coles or Woolies, it might be a bit pricier. But do have a look at this.
ALDI or Rudie? Donot know what type of customer service training the staff they had. They donot know how to smile at all ......
Good store, products are of pretty good standard. But there's a few things they don't have that the bigger supermarkets have.
Like all Aldi supermarkets, they should have less packaging. Otherwise, they have the usual fare and are always well stocked.
Plenty of parking onsite, store was clean and without obstruction, had what I needed in stock and served relatively quickly.
This morning I went to the Also store in Bundoora, it was very well organised and the staff was also friendly and helpful.
Most my home shopping from here, trust price and quality but sometimes could not find the goods what I looking for …
There's never anything in the store there's a lot of other also stores and they are bigger and lot more stuff in them
Store has been done up..its awesome now. But you have to be quick to get sale items. They seem to sell out on day one
Great place to shop - just been upgraded. Very inviting shopping experience. All the great ALDI brands and prices...
Newly refurbished. Looks fantastic. Easy to find everything you need. Great range of products at a reasonable price.
Great place to buy the kids Christmas presents. I bought a jukebox and an arcade game for them, The kids loved them.
Plenty of parking, albeit narrow carparks, helpful staff, and well stocked shelves. A great value for money local
Great place to buy some quality items at a lower price. They don't stock as many items as a regular supermarket.
An average sized Aldi... Recommend you park on the street: the underground carpark is a challenge for the timid!
I have been a huge Aldi fan, The prices most of the time are great! highly recommend this store to everybody.
Great new store layout and appearance, friendly staff. Store is always tidy and parking is easy. Thanks :)
The store has been refurbished and is amazing and with friendly staff I don't bother going anywhere else.
Always love Aldi specials. Unfortunately all Aldis were sold out of the product special that I came for.
Great prices and have almost everything you need plus a range of specials that are often amazing buys.
found out that the pretty manager tahlia doesn't work here anymore. very upset never coming here again
This might be the dirtiest ALDI in the world. The best place to find used facemasks for my collection.
Always friendly staff on and never packed with people which is nice. Relaxing shopping experience.
Has the best stock...always has the items I want without having to rush in and fight over it. Haha
Would have given a 5 star rating but I resent having my wife's handbag checked for stolen goods.
Nicely laid out Aldi, with much the range you would expect, including the good prices to boot.
Has a wide variety of food and school snacks. I have been converted into an Aldi's eater haha.
Well stocked store, friendly staff, tight car park for large vehicles, elevator is convenient
Topical Aldi, great set up and very clean but most of all ,WELL STOCKED, very friendly staff.
Fantastic, but the only problem is that it's not laid out the same as all other Aldi stores
I enjoyed my shopping, picked up items I would not have got anywhere else. Happy shopper.
Check out lanes are excellent , got some space to place purchases into a bag or trolley.
Good prices. Not a great fan of the business model. Feels like captivity once you enter.
Staff are friendly and it's always comfortable shopping there without the large crowds..
Decent Aldi, fruit and veggies are fresh. Store is well stocked. The staff are friendly
Great place to shop. Parking is convenient but a bit awkward. Great layout internally.
My favourite Aldi store, Staff friendly and happy. Plentiful parking with easy access.
It's my local Aldi store love the layout the parking good team in there can't complain
My favourite supermarket. Best value for money. Quality products. Love my also stores
Friendly staff always happy to help! And lots of good products. Can't go wrong …
My favourite place to visit...why? Cheap European beers....you gotta come and check
One of the best Aldi outlet I've ever seen especially after the recent renovation
Was not our normal store we shop at so was confused by the layout. Was adequate.
