AMS is a lazy law firm with a revolving door of staff and a complete lack of care for its clients. When trying to arrange a property settlement, I had three different lawyers appointed to me over the span of 12 months because they clearly cannot retain staff. Instead of a calling me to explain that my lawyer had left the business, I received letters just saying I had to wait for a new lawyer, with no apology or explanation. I had to explain my entire situation to each lawyer and this wasted a lot of time (and money!). I had to continuously follow up with them and they didn't fight very hard to get me an outcome so in the end I did all the court paperwork by myself. They billed me for a lot of things that they didn't do, as well as an initial consultation which they said would be free! I'm sure there are a lot of good legal firms in the Ivanhoe area so learn from my mistake, do your homework and find a better one!

As Executor of a will held by the firm, the solicitor , Shane refused to give 5 minutes to witness an affidavit for the estate. So much for for commitment to excellence.
