We found Anglers at our utmost craving level of fish and chips, through some search at Google. Drove literally 35mins to Mirdif City Center to get there. And we were glad we did ! Our starters were fried calamari and fried shrimps - and I can definitely say I enjoyed shrimps more than calamari. As mains, we have ordered the fish and chips one with Haddock and one with Cod, both came very crisp and freshly fried, though I would have definitely preferred a thinner batter as it was thick in my point of view. Maybe asking the consumers, if they wanted to have a thin or thick batter would be a great approach. Tartar sauce and mushy peas were below average but hey - at the end of the day Anglers is at Food Court and I did not think that I would be enjoying my fish & chips there. For those who wants a delicious British style fish and chips, with a crisp batter & great fries - it is definitely a better option than most of the British pubs out there, hats off !

Haven’t been to north food court of Mirdiff City centre for sometime suddenly noticed this new fish and chips restaurant as many told in review there was sold London fish and chips restaurants which closed down few years ago ,it’s a Big challenge to make a fish and chips with cream Dorry fish fillet I being a foodie and seafood specialist I wanted to try exactly this fish and chips , it’s was lovely then fish is worthy well done crisp outside and flaky and soft inside , mushy peas and two sauces was a delight to watch , fries were the normal 6mm or 9mm type Ewen though long the thick fries i wished they had them Altogether a filling meal , for 42 Dhms it’s little pricey but it’s real worth Nbd got two chicken spring rolls free with the dish

The lady at the counter was polite and took time to explain the different options they had and how I could use the Zomato offer. The excellent customer service left us with high hopes for the food we were to receive, but unfortunately it was rather the opposite. The shrimps were good, the fish fillet lacked something which made it taste bland, and the calamari was not savoury (although it could just be me who has never tried it before). The food looked presentable and its texture was nice (crispy outside and soft inside), but the taste let us down.

Not a good experience……First they give you another menu with entertainer with no drinks at all and the menu includes some of the meals.The fish and chips was oily and wet , no taste at all just plain fillets. The prawns were over coated and the prawn inside was small whereas the outer layer made it look big. Calamari rings were tasteless with nothing except oil dripping from inside. Overall it was a first time restaurant never going again it definitely doesn’t deserve 5 stars. Worst fish and chips in Dubai.

I more recently ordered food for a take away to eat at home. I tried a different fish option and was pleasantly surprised. They provide good sized pieces of fish and also the chips are good however it is in the food court mixed with all the other outlets so it is always noisy but it is clean. Make sure you get the drink that you ordered and not something else. My 7up became Pepsi. The cod is good but I must try the haddock.

Ladies at the cashier who takes the order SHOULD ask what is the customers choice of dipping, coz they didn't ask me on 2 orders until I saw on someone else's tray a different dipping. When I asked they said yes they have what I wanted. Also I have Smiles application and I didn't know I can use it until I asked after I had paid for 2 meals, instead of getting 1 for FREE. Some times I wonder if these cashiers choose certain nationalities to ask them if they have application or ? They don't ask anything. Food was VERY tasty & crunchy

Pretty good fish and chips ! The closest to the real British fish and chips! It’s crispy and flaky .. amazing that you can choose between cod or haddock. With all due respect to the negative reviewers, if you ever were in the UK in the first place , you would know how to review it properly . Finally, I’ll add that the pricing is cheap in comparison to other places in DUBAI that charge 90 AED for fish and chips ! Definitely worth every penny !

We ordered on the company website and it was accepted.after 45 minutes when we called to find out the delivery details they refuse to deliver the food This is not acceptable service by any food chain . The manager refuses to disclose his name. Worst service no customers should face this.This should be taken up to high level ..My 13 year old son waited for the food nothing came.

Without any notification they suddenly decided to remove drink from the combo if you are using entertainer. We paid extra for drinks and they served soda water. When we complained they were apologetic and said they were unaware that that 7up was over and handed over cans to us.

Please be careful when you order the kids meal fish bites . My daughter almost chocked because there was a fish bone in one of the pieces. It's a kids meal , they should be more careful when preparing the food .

Most ridiculous staff I’ve ever encountered on duty. Fish served was undercooked and when it was conveyed he said that’s how it is. Had to put up with such service after paying the premium.
