My wife and I, have been going here for the last five weeks. We have loved the meals. I get the bulk sized meals and my wife gets the standard. We pickup our meals, so we do not have experience with delivery. Gentleman that brings out the order has always been top notch. The meals have always been exactly what we ordered. The food definitely tastes high quality and even has nice presentation. I love the amount of choices available to us. The veggies are cooked to perfection, even 5 days later the veggies are good(not mushy). I know when I tried meal prep myself, the veggies never lasted. The meats again cooked perfectly. The meatballs are excellent, firm throughly cooked, tender, and juicy. The chicken has always been cooked properly and juicy. The sauces are definitely homemade. Teriyaki sauce just sweet enough without being sugary sweet. The bbq sauce had to have taken the chef some time to perfect. It is sweet and flavorful, again without being sugary store bought. The cajun bowl is great. I love the smokey sausage with the spiced shimp. It has corn chopped and in the bowl, not on the cob like their picture, which I prefer no wasted space. The tater casserole, is a great cheat tasting meal for me, it reminds me of comfort food my mom would make. The two desserts I have tried were the peanut butter balls and the macaroons. I am a peanut butter and chocolate freak, so the love the peanut butter balls with a really good dark chocolate shell. However, I not much of a macaroons fan, but damn if these things didnt convert me. I ordered these the last two weeks. They are my guilty pleasure at the end of the day. Final results, within a month of eating these meals just for lunch, my doctor did blood work and said I no longer need to be on one medication and if the trend continues I can be off the other. My wife has lost almost 10lbs. The price per meal is less than we were spending on uber eats. The food is far better than any fast food option. No wasted food. No wondering what we should make. No wasted time trying to make the meals. No wasted time cleaning up after the meals(wife loves that the kitchen stays clean longer). For us there is no negative to the equation.

my initial experience was very frustrating. I placed an order on Tuesday for Friday afternoon pick up. I could not place my order without selecting delivery or a specific pick up time. After placing my order I got a confirmation email that was somewhat confusing, listing under my first meal was for delivery, but then stating it was for pick up at my date and time. The other meals were listed as delivery. Since I did not pay for delivery I presumed this was just a default since I only had the chance to select pick up at the very beginning. It also said to expect a second email, which I never got. I went to pick up the meals today at the location I thought I was supposed to and it was closed. I called their number twice and was unable to leave a message. About 35 minutes after my scheduled pick up time I received a phone call from a third party vendor that apparently is the middle man for their online orders. They told me that they had not been able to get a hold of AZ tastebuds nor had they ever accepted my order, it was still pending, so they refunded me my money. This is very frustrating at a time when I am trying to support local businesses and make minimal stops out in public. Fast forward to Sunday when I get a text my meals are ready. I text back to verify seeing that I was told they were cancelled. They did have my food and I was able to pick it up that afternoon. So far just had the tacos and they were delicious. Once you get past the actual ordering logistics online, it's much better.

Receive an extra 100$ after working the first shift. 3) Fill out personal information. 4) Take employee photo. 5) Fill out work experience. 6) Set day and time for 5 minute video orientation with HR. 7) Enter cash app card, PayPal, bank card etc… 8) Take food handlers or other certifications through the app. (Discounted). 9) Start picking shifts to work. * Try to be 30 minutes early. * Try not to cancel shifts. * Most people start with what they know or events. * Someone will show you how to do that job when you arrive before starting. * Shifts range from: (Catering, event parking staff, event security, event bussing/serving, serving, bussing, dishwasher, general labor, cashiering, concession stand help, cooking, line cooking, helping the cook, bartending, grocery stores etc… * No Background checks done. Except for select few. Typical places to work at: * Restaurants. * Cardinals games. * Suns games. * Diamondbacks Games. * Coyotes games. * Concerts/shows. * Grocery stores. (Ex. AJ’s fine foods. ) * Golf courses. *Take water and snacks. Sometimes get free water and food. Just clear water bottles. No bags or purses allowed at most events. Read shift details/dress codes before accepting. * Have fun/ get paid before leaving shift/ work with friends.

Signed up for the 10 meal subscription. I was billed every Wednesday and meals are delivered on Sundays. Received and email receipt on a Sunday for my meal subscription with meals that I had changed. I had been billed previous Wednesday and following Wednesday. Immediately sent an email about the error with no reply. Sent another email and called, which no one answered, and a voicemail was left with no call back. I called again and someone answered but was very short with me and barely took my name and said they would take care of it. Never received a refund. Finally had to dispute the charge with my bank and received a provisional credit, which I am sure the business never replied to there inquiry. Still no refund from business. Should have cancelled but stuck with them a mistake on my part. Fast forward a month and was billed on usual Wednesday, but receive a text late Friday night that there would be no meal prep that weekend. No explanation, no we will refund the weeks charge or you won't be billed for the next week. Sent another email the following Monday requesting refund and again no reply or refund. $240 for nothing. They have no customer service at all.

I was looking for a local meal prep service after trying Freshly, because I enjoyed the concept more than the food. I came across AZ Tastebuds and tried the 10 pack of random meals. I came away very impressed with the quality of the food. Everything was delicious, wayyyy better than Freshly and no excessive packing waste. I got my 2nd order this week and chose custom dishes this time. This food is unbelievable. Everything I’ve had is good. The veggies are fresh and clean. The chicken is cooked perfectly. The meatballs are moist and full of flavor. Never been a huge sweet potato guy, but whatever they do to their sweet potatoes reminds me of thanksgiving dinner and it’s been one of my favorite sides. Also, the salsa is $5 for a generous portion and is hands down the best salsa I’ve had outside of a restaurant. It tastes like Manuel’s, which is a childhood fave of mine growing up in the valley. This is my new thing. Easy as pie to cook in the microwave. And despite old myths, microwaving veggies is actually one of the best ways to cook them, Google it. I love supporting small local businesses, and it sure makes it easy to do when the product is as good as this.

Found these guys online and I was excited to try them out. Been using them for a few months now. Great reviews and at first, they delivered on what others had commented. Good food and they were good at notifying just before they’d show up to drop off. The problem starts with their customer service though. I’ve tried sending emails and have received no response…tried calling and got no answer. I’m dealing with them taking money now in excess of $100 with no food delivery or no refund. Completely ghosted..one of the fastest 5 stars to 1 star I’ve given anyone. I’ll look elsewhere for meal prep. *UPDATE: Cute response from the “owner” as you all can see. Sent my original email a few weeks ago and he/she just got back to me tonight. Everyone can understand a worker shortage, sure isn’t difficult to still provide good customer service though. You just lost a customer and one that was fine with an every 7 day subscription..you do the math. Bye $$$

I can second much of what else has been said: 1. To the company: The communication process post order through delivery needs an overhaul. Isn't going to stop me from ordering but there are many for whom it will. I believe hiring a dedicated person to handle the process would change the game and bring more business. 2. To the customer: Food itself is fantastic and very fairly priced. The insane part is in today's world AZ Taste Buds is in the same range as fast food prices. Yet we're talking fresh, quality whole food meals, properly portioned and healthy! Unless you are a cooking enthusiast, you can't afford NOT to eat this good and healthy for this price. If you're even considering ordering meal prep, do it with AZ Taste Buds and let them convert you!

My experience wasn’t that great. The delivery was fine but I never got a text when the delivery driver was on the way even though they were supposed to text when they were 20-25 mins away. Not that big of an issue but it was the start. Some of the meals don’t have labels and some of the meals are mislabeled with what is inside of the meal. Also if you aren’t a fan of cilantro it is in nearly all of the meals even though it isn’t listed on the label or on the website. I have a strong aversion to cilantro so I haven’t been able to eat most of what I ordered. Based on my experience I won’t be reordering.

I’ve been using AZ Tastebuds for a few months now for my meal prep and let me tell you the meals are absolutely amazing. They have a huge variety of options as far as meals and allow me to hit all my macro nutrient goals. Since using AZ Tastebuds I have dropped 50lbs and am almost at my goal weight. They have made this process so much easier for me by delivering meals with the appropriate macros and calories and not to mention again... THE MEALS TASTE AMAZING. My favorite go to is the fiesta bowl... you definitely can’t go wrong with it! The customer service has always been outstanding as well.

I am so pleased with AZ TASTEBUDS! The food is delicious and makes it so easy for me to track my calories,fats, proteins,and carbs. There is no way I could shop cheaper and have all the options that they provide. For me its a no brainer just started my 3rd week and have lost 8lbs in the first 2 weeks including some light workouts in the pool and a little walking but the meal prep and plans have truly kept me on track. 5star no doubt highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious well rounded and nutritional meals. 3 different size meals based on your goals or needs.

This is my second week and I am loving it! I'm a 5 meal a week subscriber and I pay between $55-60 depending on portion size. I relay like that you can choose portion size on each meal. I'm trying to be low carb and high protein and I feel like they have a lot of dishes that support this that actually taste good. I haven't had a meal I didn't like yet and it's less expensive than Hello Fresh and with no cooking. Great for busy working people that still want a home cooked meal.

Great Customer Service, Great food, Awesome Delivery setup. Everything with AZ tastebuds had been A+. They have great food with amazing flavor and so many healthy options and alternatives and their delivery set up is great and convenient and on time. Doing AZ tastebuds saves you so much time cooking and and spending time in the grocery store and cleaning up the mess in your kitchen. I would recommend this to anybody!

I have had an overall great experience w/AZ Tastebuds. In fact, in our search to find a meal prep place this is hands down the best one we have found....we tried quite a few. From the meal selections, to the delivery, and meals themselves, this is the best place we have tried in Phoenix.

Love the meal prep to save tons of time. Lots of choices with ability to customize the sides. Also after doing some other meal prep options out there it's really nice having good vegie options that are fresh. Not just the smallest pieces of broccoli or cauliflower they could find.

Busy work schedule. Couldn’t wait a day and a half so I could pick up food I paid. I offered to pick it up any other time and aren’t flexible at all. So they threw my food that I paid and ordered in the trash. Quick to take your money but, bad customer service unfortunately.

Tried multiple meal places already, and no one comes close to the quantity of options, convenience of ordering and best of all the taste is amazing! My wife and her friends have jumped on the aztastebuds train as well!!

I ordered a week of meals and their chocolate keto protein balls. Their turkey meatballs and their CK Protein balls are delicious! I could them both every day! I can't wait to try the rest of their meals.
