I made an appointment for a cut and finish with Chiyono and also requested a hair treatment. I needed someone to fix a bad haircut I had gotten. Another stylist took care of my hair wash, he was really polite and professional. Chiyono and I spoke briefly about the haircut and she understood right away what I wanted. My request was pretty simple, just very long and minimal layers so I could maintain the length without the hair growing into that typical v-shape. Her assessment of my hair was spot on. We discussed the treatment as well since I wasn't sure if I should go for the smoothing treatment or the repair treatment. She said the smoothing treatment was most suitable for me since I don't treat my hair chemically or use any heat styling tools. Despite the haircut being "simple" it did take a bit of time in the chair because Chiyono worked very meticulously. I really appreciated the care that she took to ensure the perfect cut. The same stylist who washed my hair was the one who gave me the hair treatment after the cut. I was given 4-weeks worth of additional treatment to use at home to help maintain hydration. Finally, Chiyono and the stylist worked together to dry and style my hair. I had asked for long side bangs/pieces to frame my face which Chiyono forgot about during the cut. I didn't bring it up during the cut because I thought perhaps she wanted to cut those pieces at the very end. I brought it up before I left the chair and Chiyono very promptly and carefully cut my hair. I highly recommend getting a haircut here. I'm just really impressed by Chiyono's care during my appointment as well as the service and attention I received from the other stylist who helped. Everybody I interacted with was super friendly and professional. Thank you again!

After googling ‘Best hairdressers in District 1, Saigon’ and reading numerous rave reviews, I decided to book a cut and finish at Ace London Hair before my trip to Vietnam. Unexpected circumstances unfortunately arose and I had to leave the city earlier than planned, so I decided to stop by the salon and inquire about rescheduling my appointment. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating and offered to cut my hair straight away, and that too within the hour! My stylist, Vu, was absolutely incredible - I showed him some photos of the look I was aiming for and he was able to suggest a suitable cut that would suit me. During the hair wash, he also provided a relaxing scalp massage which I thoroughly appreciated. I was overjoyed with my final look - it was not only the fastest and most affordable high-end haircut I’d ever received, but it was also one of the best! I could not stop raving about it to my friends and if given the chance, I would happily fly to Saigon just to get my hair cut by Vu again! I wholeheartedly recommend Ace London Hair to anyone looking for a professional haircut in a clean and modern salon in the area. P.S. The salon is located on the second floor above a shoe store.

Best hairdressing experience ever!! My mum and I had been to many many hair salons in Saigon and we can say in utmost confidence that this is th best hair salon in Saigon! The salon is like a hidden treasure in Saigon, located above Gosto shoes shop on Nguyen Trai st. We never knew there would be such a gem on the street we usually frequent. Michael and Chiyono are the absolute masters in their fields! My mum and I had our hairs cut by Michael and my mum got her hair coloured by Chiyono. My mum has never been close to 90% happy with any haircut in more than 20 years that I’ve been born, so when she was radiating with 100% happiness with her hair after Michael and Chiyono worked their magica, it was a huge deal! My hair was absolutely gorgeous as well! This is one of the very very rare hair salon that cares more about quality and customer’s hair health and well-being in Saigon! Their work ethic is unrivalled! Best hairdressers in Saigon hands down! We have finally found our permanent hairdressers in Saigon after so many long years!!!!! I set up the appointment on FB with the intention of getting an ombre color for my hair. I was warmly greeted by the employees and was offered refreshments. Met my hair stylist (I wasn't able to catch her name); she sat me down and we discussed what I want. Since I had my hair digital permed a few months ago, she wouldn't recommend that I get my hair color. She also told me that the type of color style I wanted won't last as long as I intended (color will fade after 10-15 wash and I wash my hair everyday). I was very please that the stylist was honest with me, and not being pushy for the sake of getting a service done that could damage my hair in the long run. I have a wedding to attend in 3weeks, so I was so glad she told me the color won't hold till then; don't want to look like a tumble weed at the event. Even though I didn't get a pay service with them, I like how they are honest and professional. I would recommend this salon to all my friends if they ever visit HCM.

On a short stay in Ho Chi Minh I sought immediate help for my own version of a ‘birds nest ‘ and HELP following poor highlights recently acquired in Thailand. I’d read Ace London reviews, and felt a confidence in this salon. Well......What a great experience!!!! Lovely warm welcome . Felt very comfortable in this smart, stylish , super clean 2nd floor salon. Staff spoke good English and the owner spent a long time with me discussing a totally honest action plan for my distressed hair! Which as it turned out was far less than I’d anticipated!! I had a great cut from delightful Giao who totally understood the look I was trying to achieve and following a perfect blow dry came out feeling wonderfully human . I received many glances as I walked down the street , swinging the ‘new hair’ did I feel good ha ha !!!! Fully recommended, well done Ace London!!

The senior hairstylist was arrogant, dismissive, and rude. All of that I could get past if she was great at her job. She’s not. She rushed through when I was trying to explain what I wanted and was incredibly dismissive- until she could tell I was very upset. She also expected me to leave with blow dried bangs and wet hair. Which continues to baffle me. I’ve gone to salons all over the world and I haven’t ever had a stylist that would willingly and enthusiastically have a client leave with sopping wet hair. Particularly after blow drying their bangs. I asked multiple times if she had experience with curly hair. She assured me she did. She didn’t have any experience. I genuinely wonder if she’s ever cut curly hair. One of the worst haircuts and salon experiences I’ve ever had.

Ace have just fixed my hair after 4 months of travelling. My existing balayage had gone brassy, frizzy and dry. I was so scared to go to a salon in Asia with my western hair but they knew exactly how to fix it, listened to what I wanted and I’m so happy with the results, it’s perfect. They did a great cut, condition, toner and style. Just like going to a salon at home. I’m sorry I didn’t catch my stylists name to credit her personally but she was fantastic. If like me you’re worried about using a salon away from home then this is the place for you! The staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. I’m only sad that I’m only in HCMC for a few days so can’t visit again!

I loved my first haircut and color experience with one of the owners of Ace London Hair Chiyono, they only rely on word of mouth for advertising but I feel the service they have provided is a five-star experience, they deserve an honest review on Google; I walked in just wanting a haircut to start, since I have been coloring my hair in different countries this year, after consulting Chiyono I decided to add back some highlights and it was a good choice I made. From her interactions with me as a first-time client I could tell she is skilled, I walked out of the salon with a nice fresh haircut plus a few highlights that gave my hair dimension. I love this hair salon! I stopped by, when I was on my trip to Vietnam and I googled a few hair dressers in Saigon before. I came by spontaneously without an appointment and just wanted to get a haircut. Vu was my stylist and asked me what I wanted. He gave me some recommendations and I am so happy about the result! I have thick hair and it is always difficult finding a good hairdresser, especially cutting Vietnamese hair. I got a cut and finish, which included a hair wash, cut and a wonderful blow-dry styling. I cannot speak highly enough about Vu and the salon. I would come back anytime and highly recommend the salon to everybody!

The salon is beautiful, clean and very professional. As a backpacking tourist, I was in need of a good haircut after 2 months traveling. Phuoc did an amazing job, he made me feel good about myself again after a very relaxing cut and finish. The lady who washed my hair was lovely also and I felt so relaxed having my hair washed. Honestly the best haircut I've ever gotten. The stylist who cut my hair explained how she was layering the back to work with my natural cowlicks. My hair is naturally wavy. When I went to a different salon to request a pixie cut, the stylists refused to cut it because they said it would be too fluffy. At Ace London I got the cut I was looking for, carefully tailored to my unruly head. The stylists here don't just cut hair, they'll cut *your hair. Highly, highly recommended!

Chiyono is one of the owners and a fabulous colorist for my ash-toned medium blonde Caucasian hair (coloring my white/grey roots to blend well with my existing color). I’m visiting from California and brought the formula (equal parts Matrix Color Insider 7 and 8) used by my salon, but not the product itself. Using another Western brand, Chiyono was able to come quite close to my existing color - a bit darker, as we discussed in advance, but not at all brassy.

I chose this place because of the high rating and am so glad I did. My hair was cut by Chiyono. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did a perfect job. My 4-year old daughter had her hair cut by a stylist and it came out great as well. I highly recommend this place. Quick tip on the location -- it's on the second floor; there is a shoe store on the first floor, you need to walk through the store and up some stairs to get to the salon.

I was nervous to have a haircut with a new stylist, so I went for a consultation first. My hairstylist Chiyono understood what I wanted and I had a haircut a couple of days later. During the haircut Chiyono provided some useful information about perming, that I didn't find online. The haircut itself was done very well, my hair has a very good shape that suits me. Thank you.

I created an appointment for a haircut and a treatment, but when I got there the senior stylist advised me not to do the treatment as it wouldn’t really help my dandruff issue. I loved that she was so honest and didn’t force me. She also gave me a lot of tips for my hair and I also had a lovely and fun talk with her. Will definitely come back when I visit Vietnam again!

Got a blow dry here for my birthday and my hair never looked better ! I came back to get the express hair repair treatment and a haircut & blow dry. My hair was originally really rough from some at home hair dyes but after the hair treatment it came out Silky smooth. Vo did an amazing job! & was such a good price !
