Jorge is the man! For as much sh*t as he seems to get in the newspapers and from unreasonable people at his shop and online, he has never been anything less than courteous and generous to me. Case in point, I like MTG but the scene is intimidating for noobs. I brought a deck in one day and told him I’m pretty sure it’s modern format and wanted to test it out but would rather not play in tournaments or anything. Jorge grabbed a deck off the shelf, told me to play a few matches with him and was really chill about the whole thing. It was great fun! That’s customer service for you. He took the opportunity to make me feel comfortable when he could have just ignored me. He doesn’t treat anyone without respect unless they warrant it. Pretty dark and dank. The night I went in, I was definitely hit with a wall of the odours of the unwashed. That being said, there's a good selection of recent and recent-ish comics, organized by this week's releases, and the "recent-ish" organized by publisher... within those categories, though, I found the organization confusing. Also unfortunate is the way every single issue I looked at was creased thanks to people leaving them on the shelf and rifling. There were action figures and what appeared to be video games and such, but too many people were in the way for me to successfully examine anything closely. Oh. And a wandering dog. Friendly, but if you're scared of dogs for some reason you might wanna steer clear.

Great place for comics although sometimes a little disorganized. Obviously with the way of things these days the comics side has fallen out of favour so this shop is heavily seated in the Trading Card and Gaming paraphernalia so you can expect the same cliches you expect at most comic shops that have regular gaming tournaments. The staff are usually fairly friendly though and can answer most questions if they have the time *It can get busy during certain obvious hours* Used to always look forward to seeing Logan the big German Shepherd until he passed away he was so well behaved.

While they do have a good selection of comics cards and collectibles, the store is run down and a mess. There is little room for card playing tables so they are right in the middle of the store so its hard to shop around them and finding anything is difficult. The staff isn't then nicest either. I try to avoid there but if I'm really looking for something I will check if they have it. Edit: this was six years ago. There's no way you know who I am anymore and your response proves my point. Love this store! They have a great variety of all types of Sports and Trading Cards! One of the few stores that keeps WWE Hobby Cards in stock! Yugioh/Pokemon/Magic card selection is also amazing! And I hear they host tournaments when the lockdown isn't in effect. :) Sports boxes have the best prices I've seen! Their Upper Deck Series 2 is by far the best price in Ontario I've seen! Love this store and I highly recommend it to my YouTube followers and friends constantly! Good owners and employees always there to help.

Went in looking for warhammer, used to go there all the time for comics obviously, but hadnt been into the shop for a while. The staff was rather helpful and even gave me some really good advice for my warhammer army! They offer some incredible discounts as well as having items for cheaper than the games workshop has listed. Also! Even more exciting was the older impossible to find models that dont get produced anymore were hidden through out the store. Worth spending sole time checking all the nooks and crannies here

Great comic selection, reasonable staff, and lots of other games, cards etc. I came here looking to finish up my Netrunner collection and pick up a few of the core 19 singles just after releaae, and they had both. To top it off, I saw Batman Adventures 12 on their shelf, and went back the following day to grab that too. If youre from Kingston or just stopping by, I'd definitely give this place a look. It is a little bit out of the way from the base of Princess street, but not too far to skip visiting

RESEALED POKEMON CARDS DO NOT BUY. I bought an eevee elite trainer box and all 10 packs were resealed after charging me almost $150 for the box. Plastic mending at the top of all packs and 2 packs had cars put back into the packs backwords. Digusting business practice honestly. Guy on the phone told me to contact pokemon because it might be a "production error". Lol. Didn't offer any kind of support after clearly selling me resealed packs just an hour earlier.

The shop has a decent selection of comics, games and cards. Great for new fans or general shoppers. It has some clutter, and is somewhat unkept with dust found on a fair amount of products and spaces. A very good and quiet dog haunts the store. Those with allergies may find it difficult to stay long. Staff seem to have varied knowledge of products and in stock items. Overall experience was fair, but could easily be improved with simple changes.

Great selection and a really nice owner. We come for Pokémon card packs for my son, and my roommate gets the bigger boxes. I come for heaps of board games, abd the owner has helped me order some rarer ones. Some folks come by and play card games in the tables but I haven't. They have lovely dog named Beau who is a delight as well. The downside is the place smells like smoke, and I'm terribly allergic. Best place in town for games, handily.

Accommodating. Jorge tries to make room for everyone playing any game. Staff will also put things aside for you. Great selection of comics, board games, action figures, collectable figures, card games and other types of games, like heroclix. They are the only store in town that supports heroclix with new sets in stock. The downside is the smell. Many sweaty people playing games and a wandering dog. But, everyone loves Bo the dog.

Was in town and thought I would check out the local comic shops. This place was messy, disorganized and more of a place to play Magic/Pokémon. Comics were well priced but limited and not organized. The limited amount of newer/current publications were marked up from cover price. Okay place if you want to spend some time searching though boxes.

Staff are friendly, good atmosphere, and an excellent selection in its particular niches(comics and card games) that makes it my game store of choice. Merely mentioning what Im looking prompts staff to note it for next restock if they dont already have it. In addition, their fuzzy four leghed greeter ensures you always feel welcome.

Amazing store and staff! Always willing to help out or share their knowledge, and they have an amazing selection of products.. I'm in there several times a week and still finding stuff I've never seen or noticed around the place. Always new stock of comics, cards, etc and there is always some event going on for one game or another.

It is a really great place to go for good staff people and prices everyone there is really nice and if your new or old to a game not just staff will help you play against you give you tips and pointers but also others who go there and same with asking about a comic me and all of my friends go there

Very much a super hero type comic store. I prefer weird literary graphic novels. Still managed to find two books that tickled my fancy. Still, mostly a hero shop, with a lot of action figure type stuff filling the place up. A little oasis for the mega nerds of Kingston, I'm guessing.

It's a fine place for comics and modern collectibles as well as some older toys, and that pokémon card collection is massive! Unfortunately, there aren't many model kits there thanks to the pandemic taking most of their stock. Still, worth a stop, there's a lot of cool stuff to buy!

Great people, great selection.. George and the gang are always there to help with whatever you need and more then willing to get it if they don't already have it in there amazing selection of inventory.. Plus somethings going on there every night of the week!

If you like gaming and/or collecting this is the source to go to. The staff are down to Earth and real. No up selling or fluff involved, The store feels snug and not like your entering a super clean museum where you can't touch anything. Recommended

Walked in saw an bunch of overpriced magic cards but the one that I saw was a misty rainforest foiled which usually comes out to a $45 card but they had it going for $100 I would not recommend going here for fair priced magic cards.

Awesome! Friendly and knowledgeable employee who wasn't even the owner made us want to come back. Secret ritual occurances in the basement added to the mysticism of this unique local. We will be back again!

If you're collecting comic, this place has lots of back issues. Friendly staff. Good prices. Make some time though, the issues aren't organized. You'll have to dig.

Store had a decent selection, but their prices on MTG singles are a rip off. If you go to buy cards, expect to haggle, and have Face to Face or SCG open to compare.

Comics and other collectibles were fairly priced, but the store smelled heavily like cigarettes. I don't want any collected materials that smells like nicotine. :/

Pretty good MTG selection, and staff are happy to help if you ask. If some cards look very over-priced, just mention it and they'll almost always go down.

Great prices on trading cards! The owner is nice and he is good at remembering who you are if your are a regular. They can also put things aside for you!
