Got my car serviced here things that Went wrong after service. The fan belt wasn’t checked I had it tighten. Belt was making a noise I was told it was the alternator or engine bearings, rubbish! Car was running ruff on petrol as dual fuel after two 20km trips so I checked the fuel filter to find I couldn’t even blow air through it this was obviously not checked in the service. I had it replaced. I got stranded on the side of the road as car stalled, on further investigation I found that a clip was broken off on the air filter cover and the cover wouldn’t seal shut causing the motor to suck air and not run. The clip was found in the engine bay broken off. I knew that this was opened as I was charged for a new air filter. Not fun being stranded by myself on the side of the road having to try and push a 4 wheel drive of a 2 lane only road thankfully amongst all the honks I received, two men stopped to help me push my disabled car of the road into a car park. I was charged quite a lot for the service over $400. This did include a power steering flush. Come on boys a service to a dual fuel car should mean a check of all filters and insure that any extra air can’t flow into the motor as it will not run. This is the first time that I have given a business a bad rating, but this is what these platforms are for, it seems that my confidence in mechanics remand the same, happy to charge a high price for dodgy work. What happened to good old honest people that do the job that they get paid for. I was told that two workers spent 2 hours working on my car. It seems that they were inexperienced workers not very thorough and if this was the case why wasn’t the work checked by a experienced mechanic. If I could give NO STARS I would. No recommendation from me. I thought I would keep my business local, keep local businesses in business only to get a unsatisfactory job done. Yes I had to get a mobile mechanic to attend my disabled car which was obviously another expense.

Damien and the crew here are absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend him and his mechanics to everyone. I was sold a lemon from Ford! First ever “New Car” and I brought their rubbish hook line and sinker! NEVER AGAIN! Ford told me there we all these issue that it was going to cost me a bomb for logbook services from them after the fact and I lost all my trust in mechanics. I heard about Damien and his crew a few years back and they have done a stellar job on my service, Tyers, wheel alignment ect ever since. Unlike a lot of mechanics Damien is not a rip-off merchant! If he says he’s going to do something him and the boys do it to perfection! I’ve never had nothing but honesty from him in quotes and he knows I’m nervous with my car and still lets me double check prices with other outlets if I’m unsure. Today Damien and the crew put some brand new Tyers on my car and he actually charged me less than the original quote!!! Not many mechanics do that these days! When I told my father that Damien said “Your Tyers are the most important part of your car” my father knew instantly Damien was a good guy, getting me the best Tyers at a great price but most of all you could genuinely see Damien just wanted my car to be safe knowing I drive to Mildura frequently. After each service my car drives like a dream! And that is down to DAMIEN and the TEAM! Thanks so much for my new Tyers today! I can now drive to Mildura knowing the car is as safe as it possibly can be! Mates at uni also have used Damien and his crew and everyone speaks highly of him and the crew! Needed an emergency check on the way to the snow as the front wheel was making a weird noise and these guys got us in straight away and worked out the issue within minutes which turned out to be the Auto Hub Locking mechanism. Couldn't have come across a more friendly service, these guys are absolute legends and highly recommend them. Not only did they get us in at short notice but they fixed the issue within the hour and all for a very good price. They could have easily turned us away as they were busy and also could have charged us an arm and leg. Thanks so much to the owner and the extremely knowledgeable Jason who not only saved our snow trip but also gave us some useful advice for our trip!

I have both mine and my wife's car serviced here and have never had a bad experience. Damien is the type of old school mechanic that if he thinks I can fix it he'll talk me through the process to save me the cost of him doing it. I even called him on the way to Bathurst when I was in the middle of nowhere and he helped to get me on the road again at NO COST. Anyone who has a bad experience with this crew may need to look in the mirror.

I found that the service provided by Damien and Jason exceptional. I was travelling to Sydney when I had to turn back because of car trouble. They took on the task willingly. They diagnosed the problem, found a replacement part, installed it and reset a difficult computer issue. Their customer service provided was friendly and professional. Great place to go to for your car.

Visited Active for some help with a logbook service follow up after a poor experience at my BMW dealership. The Active team took great care and provided some great advice where the dealership was just fobbed off the concern and wanted to charge for unnecessary repairs. Will be going back to Active - their attitude and customer service was GREAT!

Booked my in to see get a simple trans hose change and to repair an oil leak and he was gonna charge me $820, i took it to another mechanic for the same job to get it fixed only to pay $280. What a complete rip off. Beware of this rip off merchant out to make a quick buck. Plenty of other mechanics around who are far more honest.

Damien and team, looked after us when our Dodge needed power steering repairs. He was efficient with keeping us updated, esp being a big job. He let us know the quoted price, which was very reasonable. Will continue to bring my cars here for servicing etc. Thank you Damien and your team for going over and beyond for us.

The guy didn't tell me he broke the wheel cover n zip tied it wherever he cud. So cudnt find the air valve n fill air. I went in AGain n I was told "why are you complaining so much this is plastic and you can buy n change" well there was no way I cud have known that or did I?

Excellent blokes, broke down on the side of the highway at Craigieburn, RACV towed us there and they were the only ones happy to squeeze us in just before the end of hours so that we were able to continue our 4 hour drive home. We'll priced too. Can't recommend them enough :)

Just took my archaic Rav4 to these guys for clutch replacement and to bring it up to roadworthy condition . They did so many extras that were not included in the quote at no extra cost.Reasonably priced friendly service Would totally recommend Maureen Fisher

Saved the day, had a flat battery in cragieburn these guys were awesome could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but instead gave me a jump start, checked my alternator and replaced the battery all at a fair price. Easily 5 star service

1963 Classic Falcon Convertible. Not many mechanics left who know about non-computer cars. Damien and Bernie knew their way around this old car and provided excellent and timely RWC and required repairs for same.
