I love this library and the ambiance!! Clean, nice interiors and love how they kept the industrial roof giving a vintage vibe while adding modern touches, glass windows all around with views of the water and sunlight getting inside the library. If there is one thing i can recommend it is the noise control, as the children’s corner is right beside the tables and there is a lot of noise generated which quite defeats the purpose of a quiet library. But very thankful for this beautiful library nonetheless and has been said, is such a great gift and blessing to NYC!

It’s pretty misleading to call this anything but a children’s library. It’s a beautifully-designed space, but if you aren’t looking to entertain a small child then you won’t get much use out of it.

It's ok.. hate that whole neighborhood.. your not more important then anyone else.. and you don't deserve a library.. and hey.. when you go.. read the sign to see it says closed..Read!

It’s really cute but check their event schedule before you go there to study. It can get noisy during kids programs.

The view as you sit and read over the easy river, priceless. Helpful and professional librarians and staff.
