"Fantastic stadium in Australia, this is home to the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide Power AFL teams, and also home to the Adelaide Strikers cricket big bash team, and to international cricket test matches, T20 and one day matches in Australia"
"2023 Best live AFL game experience, we watched Crows vs Giants game18, it was great the crowd cheering and roaring together, got to meet nice people there, food was good had the tasty beef & cheese burger, hot chips & drink $25"
"This was my second visit to the Oval"
"One of the great attractions of South Australia"
"We visited this nice stadium for the first time and of course, to witness a great battle between Adelaide Crows & Gold Coast Suns with a pleasant result Haha"
Fantastic stadium in Australia, this is home to the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide Power AFL teams, and also home to the Adelaide Strikers cricket big bash team, and to international cricket test matches, T20 and one day matches in Australia. I went to the Crows v North Melbourne match and the crowd atmosphere was electric. The place to be is on the hill, but you won’t be able to see the other part of the ground fully. You need to be somewhere in the middle and on the second level to get a great view but it will cost you money. The stadium has several food and drink stations so you won’t go hungry or thirsty during any footy or cricket match. The stadium is a short walk from Adelaide central train station and it is a really nice walk along the riverbank.
2023 Best live AFL game experience, we watched Crows vs Giants game18, it was great the crowd cheering and roaring together, got to meet nice people there, food was good had the tasty beef & cheese burger, hot chips & drink $25. The view was good but not the best, now we know what seats to get next time. The stadium was built and set out really good and organised; food stalls, toilets and bars all around on every level. Being new to AO it’s good to be early get the tram so you don’t get your seats taken, big crowd attendance 37,000 people wow amazing! Must do it once. Photos by: jesusbelievers_noah I.G & F.B
This was my second visit to the Oval. This time, it was a great experience. The winter package deal included valet parking, complimentary drink and chocolates (very small box), and a 3 course meal at Bespoke. Good value. Room 628 was great, a bit more spacious than the last room I was in. The view was amazing. Staff happily and promptly provided requested softer pillows and a shower chair. A discounted breakfast was offered and enjoyed.

One of the great attractions of South Australia. An iconic venue for cricket, Australian football, and concert goers. The design and architect are mesmerising and look attractive from outside. It is spacious inside and accommodates a lot of patrons. Full of cafes and food stalls, it is a great place to be during match day with enough facilities like toilets and ease of checking in. It hosted ICC T20 cricket and many other important and big events, including GNR, Ed Sheeran, and the housefull stadium during the showdown.
We visited this nice stadium for the first time and of course, to witness a great battle between Adelaide Crows & Gold Coast Suns with a pleasant result Haha. We were truly amazed by the astonishing structure and design of the Oval as one of the most iconic footy stadiums in Australia. Did not even think that from the outside the Oval could be such a masterpiece. We would definitely be back there for another match.
Have sat in most stands and pitch views are good. Highly recommend the alcohol free area for families. Food/drink overpriced and underwhelming but no different to any other stadium! Plenty of toilets and queues always move quickly. Roof climb is worth doing if you have the money or as a treat. Lines to get into stadium always look awful on footie day but again, staff keep lines moving efficiently.
We came here to watch some of the AFL matches as part of the Gather Round Festival and it was a lot of fun. The stadium itself is huge with multiple entrances (make sure you enter through the correct one) and there’s several levels (which can get confusing when searching for your seat). There’s also typical stadium food available for purchase. Overall, great place to come watch a game or event!
We did the Adelaide oval tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide Stephen was very knowledgeable about every nook and cranny in the oval. He had a great sense of humour and didn't rush through any details. The Bradman collection was also very good and well worth visiting. I would highly recommend this tour. You don't have to be a football or cricket fan to appreciate this fantastic stadium.
Magnificent structure. All stadiums are obviously designed to cater for large crowds but AO is efficient. Even with 50,000 in attendance the concourse feels spacious. Also lots of sanitary facilities for the ladies so no excessive queues. I do however wish stadiums had a kid friendly area for little ones to stay safe and roam, but maybe that’s too much to ask as viewing space is money!
Iv been to grandfinals & preliminary finals at the MCG with 100,000 people, but this atmosphere and feel this oval has is something else. This stadium is fantastic as a non Port or Geelong supporter. I thoroughly enjoyed this stadium from the atmosphere to the seating and everything in between

An iconic infrastructure in South Australia, haven’t been to so many Oval but this is to me the best venue for any cricket events in the world. Love going there again and again and enjoy watching matches after matches. Been to the entire Oval tour couple of time and visited like players dressing room, media room every where and loved it. It created an attachment to me.
It was my first live cricket experience and I absolutely loved it. The design of The Oval is fabulous with great views. Food and drink choices are perfect for match days. Too bad India lost but the experience was complete worth the money. Felt thrilled to see the Indian cricket team in the pre match training and of course also the beautiful fireworks.
Great amenities, ample bathrooms and good staff, particularly Western Stand but haven't had any issues elsewhere. Great place to watch Port win, unless it's against the Crom or Pies or Finals. Actually well priced for a stadium, though still expensive. I've been to a few grounds around Australia and AO is one of the best.
Disappointed with the result of the game. But, could not fault the facilities of the Stadium. The oval was immaculate and lead to high standard of the game (not the result) nor the mass stampede and rush to get back to the City unbelievable crush. In future, if I ever return will sit and wait till all are gone.
Great venue… excellent staff and well managed place. The food stalls are not bad. Recently I’ve found out that different stalls got different menu. Years I’ve been going to the same one close to my seat but this year I went to the next food stall which looked the same but they had fish & chips and also tacos!!
One of the greatest cricket stadiums I've ever seen. Great venue for everyone, with all the facilities when needed. Maintaining really well, and beautiful architecture. Located in the city with easy access to transport facilities. Ample parking available close to the venue.
Such a beautiful place with a great location and amazing view. Easy public transports to go to the Oval for any events. Highly recommended the Oval tour to see it in details and know its wonderful history and hidden gems. The Oval tour runs twice a day at 11am & 2pm.
We were in the mtx club. This was a great way to enjoy the game. There is a restaurant up there with a fireplace and takeaway burgers, chips etc. Multiple bars to order drinks from and plenty of table and chairs. The stadium is stunning. I loved this experience.
Awesome experience Guess I don't need to talk about the stadium and it's history which is well known anyways. The experience at the Don Bradman pavilion and seeing the scoreboard and the whole standing in such close proximity was mindboggling Fantastic
Great stadium as seats on the lower level are pretty close to the ground. The only issue is that people who see the first 2 rows that you can't buy are fill up from people just wandering down. Security very laxed on that front. Around
Adelaide Oval is an amazing stadium to watch games. Its is easy to navigate to your area & seat. Northern end of the stadium is open grass area. Ideal for family and young kids. Food and drinks are easily accessible. Car park could be
Flawless oval. The grassed area and vintage score board add a historical and laid back element. Amazing location. Unbelievable how well designed it is. Few lines. It can empty of 50k people at the end of an event in 15 minutes.
Had the best night, off the tram at train station, followed the band thru and out across the bridge and into the oval. Atmosphere was unreal.

Always room for improvement. The State of Origin was awesome but the crowd at the line up for the Bars blocked of the walkways making it hard for people to get around. Other than that. The atmosphere and night was awesome.
First visit the the Adelaide Oval yesterday to watch the crows.. what a great stadium! I’ve been to many of the big stadiums in Australia and this place is in my top 3. Can’t wait to watch some cricket here in summer More
Fantastic arena, lots of history and a beautiful setting. The tour was informative, and the guide was super knowledgeable. Would definitely come back, and can't wait to see a cricket or football match here.
Visited Adelaide Oval for the first time to watch GWS v port. Adelaide Oval is truly a great sporting ground, I was amazed by the small old ground feel that’s mixed with modern new stands. Crowd of 45k
Such a spectacular view from the stands. Attended a function in the Ian McLachlan room, well catered for and had an abundance of kind, cheerful staff. All in all, a beautiful sunny afternoon …
Amazing night, venue staff friendly, also ease of entry and exit was smooth. This venue is just the right size for an epic concert / event. Sound system was great. Cant wait for Pink in 2024!
Overall a great experience. Footy games are a whole different vibe! So many great opportunities at Adelaide oval located in North Adelaide, right across from the River Torrens. Roofclimbs,
#theovalcricketground. What an amazing place. Play complex has been up graded and they included some of the original features like the scoreboard and the grass area for the standing fans.
Spectacular! The Magaray room is fantastic for large functions and the food is really special. Beautiful views of the city overlooking the river Torrens adds to the beauty. Top notch!
Adelaide oval is not just famous for its games stadium, it has scrumptious food options also available. I visited the Bespoke bar and kitchen restaurant for lunch.
Came here to see Ed Sheeran and oh wow it was amazing. Great facilities plenty of food and drink. The sound was amazing and the show went smoothly
Just a short picturesque walk across the pedestrian bridge, in the heart of Adelaide. It's a great mix of modern and history. Great atmosphere
The hotel is one of the best I've stayed in, the oval tour is fantastic. Amazing sporting ground and an excellent place to visit any time.
Yes the oval has a great atmosphere when it has a sports spectacular event there , they have improved the Adelaide oval very well …
Absolutely love Adelaide Oval. It is an amazing venue to watch the footy, go to concerts and even climb the roof. Highly recommend
Had a great afternoon watching Glenelg & Sturt play in the SANFL Grand Final! The perfect result with the Bays winning by 24pts.
Always wanted to do a tour of this stadium, and it didn't disappoint absolutely a magnificent stadium well worth checking it out
One of the most iconic Cricket ground in Australia. I enjoyed watching world cup T20 cricket there. It was a great experience.
Love this ground whether for cricket or AFL amazing place glad that they have kept original scoreboard …
....first AFL game - great fan support for the Port Adelaide Power! Real nice stadium-good beer wine selections
Electrifying to watch a live game at the Adelaide Oval. I love how all the lights coincide with goals. More
Attended a private function and the atmosphere and food was great. Shame there was no sport on the night.
One of Adelaide’s key landmarks that is home to some of Australia’s best sporting entertainment
