Good food, warm people! I drove out just to try their food bec I craved for chicken souvlaki when I woke up today. Got held up a little in the QEW on my way, but I would say that this was worth the drive! I'm a fan of baba ganouj, and theirs tasted great! I think I can finish two orders of those :D Loved the flavor and texture of the rice of the chicken souvlaki, and the chicken had that crispy char that I prefer on any grilled meat dish. Took out some baklava rolls. Unlike the usual baklava, theirs isn't too sweet; which is a plus on my books. Shukran!

My takeout experience at this restaurant was simply delightful! The Mediterranean food they offered was incredibly delicious and satisfied my cravings for flavorful and wholesome dishes. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making the entire ordering process seamless and enjoyable. They were attentive to my preferences and provided helpful recommendations to ensure I had a satisfying meal. If you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine and appreciate friendly service, this restaurant is a must-try. I can't wait to order from them again and indulge in more of their delectable dishes.

The food was delicious, authentic (the potatoes reminded me of my grandmother's), and portions were generous. It's the best Middle Eastern I've had in Oakville. The owner told me that this restaurant is a labour of love that she, her mother and her daughter all work together in, sharing the recipes they grew up with that are a mix of family recipes from Lebanon, Armenia and Greece. As an additional note, they have lots of gluten-free and vegan options. Two of us are celiac and I am happy to report that they took this seriously, prepared our food on a separate surface, and understood enough about our needs that I didn't have to explain what we needed. So happy we found this place.

Update: Came back after few years. It is a small family restaurant with home made flavored food. The portions are big. The price is fair. I don't have complaints about the service. The food was good. First review : The place is very small. I would recommend calling for a reservation to avoid waiting time. The food is very good and also the service. The waiter came several times to ask how we were going.

4.5 - is a fair rating. Solid well made take out food. The service is the star. The owners are lovely amazing people. I wasn’t blown away by the food. It was very good. Mixed Grill: $29.50 (upgraded to lamb souvlaki +$4). Got the chicken souvlaki (excellent), beef shawarma (not a fan in general - skipping in future). My side sauce was good, the Adonis shawarma was good. Side potatoes were a bit dry. I wouldn’t get them again. Overall, I would return. It’s takeout only. Good quality food.

Very polite, respectful, great customer service. It’s a family owned business, they take pride in their work which is what makes it better than other places. I’ve been going here for several years now and always been satisfied with the food and service. I unfortunately, don’t like in Oakville anymore can’t visit as frequent but whenever I do it’s amazing.

Family run restaurant with impeccable flavours. Would highly recommend this place . The falafel was light and crispy and the pita pockets was full of flavour. Ended our meal with granny’s handmade baklava

Adonis seems to be a family owned restaurant that's tucked away on a residential street in Oakville. The food and service was incredible! I've been there a few times and they never disappoint. I would highly recommend it.

Family-run place that’s been open 17 years. The Mom was literally cooking Grandma’s recipes and her Daughter was running the rest of the store (phones, cash, etc). Such a nice family restaurant with delightful service and most importantly, really tasty food!
