I bought a deal for this place on Groupon, so I call to make an appointment. The woman who answers the phone asks if I already bought the Groupon deal, and very rudely tells me that Groupon takes too long to send payment. That I should have just booked with them in office. Booking in office would be twice as expensive, and it's not my fault that Groupon delays payment. You choose to accept them. Then I go in for my appointment. The massage therapist doesn't even tell me his name before guiding me to the room and leaving without a word. No consultation. No questions about previous injuries. Nothing. Naked on the table I pick my head up to tell him I have severe tissue damage to my right shoulder causing frequent dislocations and to be VERY careful when moving that joint. I also told him I have bad sciatic nerve pain radiating down my left side. He didn't want a consultation at all, but for my safety I had to tell him. The massage I got was good if unfocused. He did a whole body massage not focusing on anything in particular despite my mention of sciatic nerve pain (being in my low back). He at one point tried to put both of my arms behind my back which I warned my shoulder would not do. He ignored me and tried to force my arm in place and only stopped when I screamed, laughing all the while like it was funny. He then pressed my leg back into my chest to stretch my hip flexor and laughed again when I shouted in pain.(sciatic nerve pain). Once another massage therapist walked into the room during my massage, her client right behind her, and loudly explained that she needed her cart from the room before wheeling it out. All the while her client watched me, naked on the table covered by a sheet, from the doorway. It was extremely unprofessional and unsafe. My massage therapist left the room several times and left the door open each time which is extremely unsafe. There's no AC here and it's the middle of September so it was outrageously warm in that room. Also the Groupon said I got to choose a 30 minute add on but the massage therapist never even asked what I wanted. All in all, pretty sketchy and the therapists have some awful bedside manners. Bad customer service. And unsafe for women UPDATE: I called and spoke with management. I got a full refund, but was also asked to take this review down. I personally believe until their business practices change, this review will remain as a fair reflection of my experience.

I have been going there for about 6 months and overall they have been excellent. They provide for me a excellent therapeutic deep tissue massage . You are covered in sheets and they also have heated tables . No light touch here they all have power they can regulate pressure to your liking. They can if you like walk on your back which I do not prefer . They also have hot stones which is not something I like but I do know others enjoy . They start dry with pressure than move to oil . Than when done they use hot towels to clean off the oil which I like so your clouths stay oil free . When your done they give you cold filtered water and candy . They all are proficient they all have been trained . Do not just try one masseuses they have many some you may like more than others . Some people just just jump to conclusions without throughly investigating . They are reasonabley priced just $40 for a hour and keep in mind these lady’s live on tips giving them $5-10 is Insulting I give them at least $20. I’ve seen reviews where customers think 15% is appropriate As if it’s the same amount of work like a waitress with multiple tables. The masseuse are all Chinese and most do not speak much English . It does make for a very relaxing and silent experience . They do try and ask you if it’s ok during your massage very pleasant and polite . The lady’s in the front are very nice and everyone is dressed very nicely , classy and they all are very pretty which doesn’t matter to me as far as a masseuse just a observation. The location is very clean and it really is like a spa in comparison to other locations where I have walked in and saw and walked out. Each room is private and decent size . The only negative is the turn over seems high once I get used to one masseuse they leave after few months. Maybe this is industry wide I do know the average length of a masseuse’ s work expectenacy is less than three years . This place is large you can without appointment just walk in they will have a masseuse for you , but if you want a particular masseuse make a appointment . Lots of parking conveniently located next to Wellsfargo south east corner intersection Black Mountain and Mira Mesa Blvd.

This is going to be a detailed review hoping the management would read and work on it. This facility is clean with relatively low pricing for the services. However, they have a lot of aspects to work on. First, the language barrier. None of the masseuses understand English. And having established this facility few years ago by now one would expect that the management should've trained them with basic English for communication. My shoulders were stressed and while on the massage table I tried conveying the message to focus some pressure on my shoulders while she was on it by pointing at my right shoulder and saying "here pressure". What she did was massage only my right shoulder so much so that it inflamed and stayed so for nearly 2 months. Second, as said in the beginning, the pricing is relatively low but they try to compensate by charging the customers via tips. What they call "suggested" or " recommended" amounts can feel like an imposition. I had a 90 mins massage and in the end I handed over a $10 for the very painful experience. That's when the receptionist sprung out the words "for 90 mins we suggest a $15 tip" and she said that repeatedly. I was firm on how much I wanted to tip and said, " Isn't it upon me to accept or deny your 'suggestion'?! " And I left never looking back at that place again.

I bought a Groupon for a 60 minute massage with hot stones and essential oil, and it was the perfect purchase. Making an appointment was super easy, and the massage therapist was very friendly and attentive. During the whole process, she would check in to see how I was doing and ask if anything hurts. It was my first time getting a full body massage and I only have good things to say! She worked on my head, neck, back, arms, hands, shoulders, legs, and feet. The place is clean and very neat. The low lights and music gave a nice ambiance and overall, I really enjoyed my massage. She also gave me a cup of water after which was nice. I don't live too far from here so I will definitely visit again! 5/5 stars!

left with all the knots I came in with. I have tons of knots from lifting weights and asked for a deep tissue. Got a weak massage. She didn’t spend any time on any of my million knots in my back and neck. I specifically told her my neck was hurting bad and she barley worked on it. She couldn’t understand any English even when I tried my best to talk so she could understand. It was somewhat relaxing even though I left in the same amount of pain I came in with. Was gonna do 90mins and even scheduled ahead but they said only 60 and I’m sure glad they saved me from wasting more money. Avoid this place if you want a real massage.

Tight shoulders? Ask for Leo. I made a last minute appointment and the receptionist was pleasant and happy to book me. The location is clean, bright and spacious. I had an amazing massage by Leo who was able to apply a lot of pressure when I asked him. I lift weights so my shoulders and back are full of knots. Leo was strong enough to address them. I highly suggest Aagean Massage, they have a lot of options of body work to choose from from acupuncture, cupping, foot massage, full body etc. I booked another one for next week! Highly recommended.

Not a great experience. Emily was very aggressive & not in tune with her work. I paid for 60 mins and she spent alot of time running in out of the roo Where I can hear hear her at the front desk job attending to other people. She also kept disregarding my preference almost forcing me to pick a guy to do the massage. I don’t understand how these people conduct. The room was hot and not welcoming very rushed. I would say if you’re going to invest in any kind of money or self care you’re better off going somewhere else.

Since moving to San Diego I hadn't found a great place for massage. I decided to book several Groupons near me and this place definitely outshined the rest. I was easily able to get an appointment. The receptionist was warm and welcoming. I had a 90-minute deep tissue massage and cupping session with Cocoa. She was fantastic! She was incredibly aware of which areas needed the most focus, provided intense counter-pressure and utilized effective stretching techniques. I will be coming here from now on!

My husband and I went for the first time to this place last night. The massage is OK and I give 23% tip. The cashier told me if I can give more tip. I give $10 additional which makes my tip @33%. I am rating this massage place 1 star or no star as they asked for more tip. I felt like I paid additional massage session. I will not go back nor recommend this place for reason of them asking for more tip. The suggested tip for massage is more or less 20% depending on the satisfaction of the massage.

My boyfriend and I got a couples massage (1 1/2 hours for 120$ total, 60$ per person), the lady that was massaging me barely touched my feet. But overall the massage was good. When we get done and leave I tip them 20$ (10$ per masseuse), at least 16%, and they had they audacity to ask me to tip more. Gave them another 6$ and left. Very rude trying to get more money out of me. Bad for business, never returning there again and would never recommend it to anyone.

Came here on Tuesday evening for 60 min massage. When finished, I usually tip 20% but this time I tipped 30% because she gave a little extra on the foot massage. After giving her the money she didn't hesitate to say "Next time, give a little more". Ahh hell naww...that's the last time I will ever go there. The audacity of her asking for more money!! RUDE and unprofessional...and for that...one star.

I’m a frequent massage customer as I get one every week (for the past 23 years) and I have tried many places throughout San Diego. I choose this one because the massage therapists really know their anatomy and you get an excellent massage for a great price. The place is clean with a nice ambience. I’m quite picky, so, this review really reflects five stars.

4/30/2023 Had 90 minute massage w Lisa X. After explaining my preferences with the lady at the front desk, Lisa went on to give a very good massage. Today I was hoping to get a deep tissue massage, and Lisa was able to go deep, but not too deep, resulting in a very relaxing massage without crossing the line and becoming painful. I will definitely be back.

Don't bother tipping because they will tell you how much to tip $10 for 60 min and $15 for 90 min. We has a couples massage. Foot massage water was boiling hot. They only speak Chinese. Receptionist was very rude at the end and asked more for tip, because of that I left $20. Not ever coming back.

This is my go-to spot. I always request a female and no elbows! The males are too rough. Also, you take off your shirt in a shared room, so I wear a tube top. $20 "foot" massage is a whole body massage, don't pay extra for the full body massage or hot stones, that's a waste of money.

It has a new owner and new massagers. YoYo gave me excellent full body massage and deep acupressure because I had very bad headaches and frozen shoulder. I definitely go back for more with her
