SLZ airport is a surprisingly good airport: we arrived at 1am and slept there, and learned restaurants are open 24/7, light stays on and there are many available plugs. Good airport for a layover, although restaurants are a bit pricy (as in all airports!)
Small airport and it’s not crowded. It is rare to find someone who can understand English but the people who do, are happy to help you if you have questions like checking in your baggage on the machines that are on portuguese language. Also
The air conditioning in this place is set to negative temperatures. I understand it's warm outside, so you'd want the air conditioning to be refreshing, but no joke, the temperature there was around 16°C. Waiting for the plane for 2 hours
Just an average small airport. Easy to get in and out of. Seems like they recently added a some new gates. Boarding areas are small and can get congested easily. Staff at Gol nice and efficient.
Kinda small and lacking TLC; it seems it’s overdue for a facelift. Take Uber from the airport rather than a taxi—it’s much cheaper.
Sao Luis's airport have to be the ugliest, and dirtiest of them all... Honestly this is a shame for the city
Check in system not working that day, security doesn't speak english, check in big mess because of covid
Quiet difficult to find someones who knows english to communicate (except officers)
It's a small airport but it's well organized. It's neat and very easy to navigate.
It's so expensive to take a taxi from the airport to the hotels area.
