Just arrived home after flying from Marco polo airport I can honestly say it's the worst organised airport I've ever been to and I travel in Europe and USA often.From checking bags in to getting bus to plane all we did was move from one que to another for over 3 hrs the airport seems too small and staff too few to handle all the movement.Passengers were getting very stressed with people pushing in the line and passengers worrying about missing there flights (us included) There was very few tannoys with any information and nobody knew what was going on.Once on our flight after an hourd delay we were told by the captain that there was a lack of buses to take passengers to the planes this could not of been the only reason but obviously would not of helped.you could see peoples stress free holidays melting away it has left a bitter taste of what was a lovely trip to Italy we would never fly out of Venice again ever it was s pleasure to fly in and out of Manchester England maybe the airport managers of Marco polo should ask how they do it instead of having young kids with pads walking up and down the line frantically asking people what flight they were on as their flight was due to board. The whole experience was diabolical

L'aeroporto di Venezia è una struttura moderna e ben organizzata per il notevole traffico passeggeri che sostiene: gli spazi interni per i passeggeri offrono sufficienti posti a sedere, i servizi igienici sono ben distribuiti e puliti, il personale è cordiale ed efficiente. L'aeroporto è molto ben collegato con la città lagunare e con i dintorni grazie a un aliscafo e a una fitta rete di trasporti pubblici con autobus locali e a lunga percorrenza, molto ben pubblicizzati e con ottime indicazioni verso la fermata e l'autostazione. Unico neo il costo elevato del bus che porta alla stazione di Mestre, facente parte del servizio urbano gestito dall'ACTV e venduto a 8 EUR in aeroporto: salendo sulle stesse linee di bus 5, 15 o 45 un paio di fermate dopo l'aeroporto, soltanto a qualche centinaio di metri dall'aerostazione, il prezzo del biglietto torna a essere quello urbano dei servizi di terraferma, cioè 1.5 EUR. Credo che il sovrapprezzo per raggiungere l'aeroporto non sia giustificabile, poiché il servizio non è diretto né espresso.

If you arrive after midnight, you find traditional taxis reaching Piazzale Roma in 20 minutes. Water-taxi: are moored outside the arrival hall, in 20 minutes they reach every corner of the city. This service ends after the last landing. Alilaguna: it’s a public launch that reaches Saint Mark Squarein 70 minutes, stopping at Murano and Lido. Departures every hour from 4.45 a.m. to midnight.

I'm still here inside this Nice Airport of Venice (Venezia in italian language) and i would like to share this information about the arrival terminal here in the main body of the Airport. Actually there are two main Doors Just at the central area of the Arrival terminal. When the guests Will come in this area they Will find for sure a lot of other people waiting here for their parents and family. Then there are a lot of limousine and taxi drivers with different signs and board and the a lot of professional tour leader or professional assistant waiting for their guests. The Airport Is enough new and inside the area you can find shops Bars and local services for busses or transfer services.

Aeroporto moderno ed efficiente ma con una "trappola" costituita dalla zona a traffico controllato nella quale è facilissimo prendere multe molto salate quando ci si accinge ad accompagnare o ad andare a prendere un passeggero. Sostare anche lontano è praticamente impossibile perché i vigili urbani sono spesso presenti e non consentono la fermata. Il tutto suona come una triste presa in giro ed è un vero peccato perché si tratta di un aeroporto con molti collegamenti. Ora, quando è possibile, cerchiamo sempre di evitarlo.

Tra gli aeroporti internazionali più belli del mondo. In fase di decollo o di atterraggio si può provare l'emozione di ammirare Venezia dall'alto, osservando i ghirigori della laguna, che sono talvolta canali e talvolta velme o barene. La pista di atterraggio è a pochi passi dall'acqua: avvicinarsi a terra fa provare l'esperienza del contatto con lo specchio lagunare. All'interno dell'aeroporto molti negozi e spazi di ristoro. Facile il collegamento con Mestre, Venezia o Treviso.

The airport is very small. Not many facilities inside. The departure area men's restroom was closed and took ages to find another. I think there is only 2 in this area. However transport to and from the airport is very good. As we were staying in Mestre, we were able to use the local bus service (#15) which started right outside the airport exit straight to our hotel. Couldn't be more convenient. Having the choice the water route would have been nicer, but not for our hotel.

As soon as you exit the airport, you can find this stop for Bus No. 5 (Public ACTV bus) to got to Piazzale Roma. You can purchase the ticket online/ from the bus driver. It stops between few stops until it arrives the bus stop (Piazzale Roma). Ticket costs - 10 Euros as on this review date. Frequency to and from every 30 minutes. And the most important thing once you board the bus, please validate the ticket. Otherwise, if caught by inspectors, you will be fined.

È un posto veramente bello prk ci sono molti negozi all'interno che ti fanno passare nei diversi step. Ora è stato cambiato un sacco è più innovativo pieno di bar. La cosa che ho trovato più utile è stato la posizione dei negozi mentre devi entrare ad aspettare l'autobus. Credo che sia una cosa belle sia per noi che per loro prk guadagnano di più. I prezzi ovviamente sono un po' altini ma tutti gli oggetti costano il doppio in aeroporto quindi...

Conforme já comentado por outros avaliadores, o aeroporto é pequeno e um pouco bagunçado. As pessoas que passam da catraca de entrada do embarque (já vindas de uma longa fila), desembocam em cima da fila de quem está para passar na segurança. E vira uma bagunça. Mas no geral deu tudo certo e não tivemos problemas. Recomendo chegar com antecedência para não correr o risco de perda de vôo. Visto que o acesso Veneza -> Marco Polo é bem complicado.

No decent food on airside. There isn't a restaurant worthy of this name, food is overpriced as you expect in an airport and the quality is appalling. The security queuing system is so poorly designed that one single passenger can block 5 security lines. And good luck with finding the car rental. It is more a treasure hunt with misleading indications than the usual airport experience.

In quella zona si contraddistinguono dagli altri fregando e mettendo prezzi assurdi sui parcheggi. Ho accompagnato mia suocera che è anziana e quindi mia moglie l'ha accompagnata all' interno ed io visto la inesistenza di parcheggi gratuiti quanto meno ad un ora di sosta ,sono dovuto uscire dall' aeroporto ,altrimenti pagavo sette euro e cinquanta. Siete una vergogna unica!!!

Everything went really smoothly, related to the airport, things like bag drops, security, scanners etc. Unfortunately, we were there a little longer than we needed to be with flight delays etc. One minor whinge. With having been there so long I needed to eat and the Burger joint especially was closed. They could have longer opening hours perhaps.

After online check-in I discovered that I still have to go to offline check-in desk not directly to my gate. Well, ok. But then there was no my flight (PS 336) on the airport screens! Just accidentally two girls in red uniforms caught me and asked - am I going to Kyiv maybe? And managed to the gate. Never have seen that at any airport

Ziemlich laut und stickig! Die Durchsagen sind, unabhängig von der Sprache, sehr schwer zu verstehen. Ausserdem sind Speisen und Getränke völlig überteuert, dazu viel zu wenige Sitzplätze. Der negative Höhepunkt war Gate 8,wo wir letztendlich 50 Minuten warten mussten. Ein kleiner sehr heißer Bereich, unangebracht für einen solchen Flughafen.

Las instalaciones propias de las pistas, terminal, son bastante anodinas, es un aeropuerto sencillo. Ya dentro cuando bajas del avión, hay preciosos murales italianos que te meten ya de lleno en Venecia. Me ha gustado el aterrizaje, que Parecía que íbamos a amerizar en el mar. Encontrar papeleras cuando bajas del avión es muy complicado.

Aeroporto relativamente piccolo, pulito e organizzato a modo. Spazi e servizi davvero gestiti bene, incredibile il beneficio del silenzio: annunci azzerati, solo info sugli schermi. Uno dei migliori aeroporti da cui sono passato. Tutto questo senza considerare che durante decollo e atterraggio si vede Venezia dall'alto...

Vergognoso!!! Parcheggi inutili, se hai bisogno di assistenza puoi morire, tutto automatico dentro quei parcheggi dove tanta gente non sa dove deve andare a pagare. 12 euro x 10 minuti... Vergognoso!!! Piuttosto la prossima volta cambio aeroporto.. Ma li non mi vedete più.. Questo è sicuro

As it was a late flight all of the food outlets were closing when we went through security. However we also had to go through passport control and there were both food outlets and shops open but there is nothing that tells you that and by the time we got there it was too late.

Giudizio di frequent flyer fruitore dell'aeroporto Marco Polo più di 100 volte l'anno. Aeroporto molto bello. Personale di terra inefficiente ed inefficace, mal formato e spesso anche presuntuoso e sfortunato. Suggerisco di investire in tanta formazione.

Aeroporto piccolo ma molto moderno, mai avuto alcun tipo di problema. Bagni puliti, servizi ottimi, check in veloci tutto sommato anche sotto le feste. Adoro il fatto che gli annunci siano "silenziosi" e non ci sia chiasso.

10 minuti chiusi in aereo ad aspettare un operatore che manovrasse il corridoio al gate di sbarco, oltre 25 minuti di attesa al ritiro bagagli !!! Aeroporti italiani da 4° mondo !!! Più efficienti in Senegal !!!

Tutto funziona bene, ci sono bei negozi all'interno, bagni puliti, certo un panino costa sui 7,50 euro e una bottiglietta 1,90! Comunque é un bel aeroporto!
