My family have been repeat customers at this restaurant since they opened. There have been issues with wrong orders or missing items in the past and we have left it go as we enjoy the food. The food is super expensive, small portions and we pay a minimum of $90 to feed 4-6 people. However today, we ordered two whole chickens and we clearly did not get what we ordered. We tried to call and let them know and the lady on the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive and insisted we said the wrong thing during the order. We went back to the restaurant and instead of offering a reasonable solution, they insisted they are out of chicken. We ended up getting a refund of $38 (out of the total $95 we had paid), and they even had the audacity to ask for their bread back!! Absolutely disgusting. What a shame to lose loyal customers over two chickens. Will not be coming up and after the way I saw them treat my mother, I'll take every opportunity to let everyone know how awful the customer service is.

Loved the okra dish possibly the best I've had in Melbourne! Generous servings of Afghan bread served with meals. Chicken biryani was tasty, as was the chicken curry and kebabs. Friendly staff always willing to accommodate. One of the few restaurants that did not charge a surcharge for operating on a public holiday, very impressed. Been back four times, will be a regular for myself and my family. Lovely spacious, bright, Afghan themed dining area. Takeaway available as well.

Loved the food here. The meat was so tender, juicy and flavorful. Such a tasty treat. They made the kebab fresh after we ordered which made it even nicer. Bread was also done after ordering and it was super fresh and soft. Really loved the customer service, that was the standout. We went here late around 9:50ish. Went to a couple of other places nearby and they said they are closed. But the gentleman here who was the owner I think was super friendly and nice. He agreed to take our order eventhough they were practically closed. He even gave us some extras and chatted to us the whole time while cooking. Haven't had such friendly encounter and service for a long time.The dining space was very clean and large with many seats available. A middle eastern vibe through it as well. Overall fantastic experience, will be returning for sure. P.s photo uploaded is half eaten so the quantity is a bit more.

Ordered mixed kebab plate for around $22, said it comes with dip. They only had garlic or chilli which are sauces, not dips. 20 mins wait for food. Dirty high chair. Fairly dingy old place, which usually means the food will be good. We waited half an hour and no food. When we complained they said “that’s because it’s not ready yet”. When my wife told him he was rude and should apologise, he ignored her. When we told the waitress about his rudeness she said they had decided to change the charcoal mid lunch service. Very silly. She was not phased at all when we said we wouldn’t be back. The meat and bread was very tasty, with proper dip it would have been next level but we won’t be back. I can’t imagine people come here for the customer service. Also the “salad” was basically a garnish not a proper salad. Not very good value. If the food wasn’t nice, I’d be giving this place 1 star

The food here was delicious and portions were great. We had the mix skewers with salad, the mantu (dumplings) and chicken korma with rice and salad. The skewers were the highlight, especially the chicken was extremely tender and juicy. Another highlight were the dumplings, it was my first time trying these and they were so good. The only complaint I would have is that the chicken in the chicken korma was pretty dry, however the flavour of the sauce was good. The breads are also huge and everything is freshly made. Overall a great experience and I would recommend

Have been a regular customer here but noticed the food porting is very less and price are too expensive. Last time i went to get some breads and they just gave me cold bread. I requested if they could give me hot breads and all of a sudden they told me take your money back or u can take the cold bread only. I was shocked with the behavior although we used to go to the restaurant some times. Now i have promised will never go back to them. Posted the review here coz wanted the community know how badly they behave. If google had 0 ratings I would have given them that.

We ordered the Mix Kebab pack as a T/A. The meats were cooked good and the bread was nice and fresh. We were disappointed with some of the serving sizes, the sauce containers were less than half full, salad was only a couple of lettuce leaves with a slice of tomato and cucumber. We ordered a large rice on the side and the container was also half empty (not worth $9). Overall it was ok but not really worth the amount your paying. The only generous serving was probably the bread..

Amazing food. Like a cross between Lebanese and Indian. Curry type dishes and delicious falafel (which I think is based on lentils and really soft but crispy). Heaps of delicious fresh bread. Great sauces. Amazing food.

Staff was very warm and keen on meeting me and my familys desires here, it concerns me that some people are negative about not recieving water with meals when you can just ask, is what I did and recieved it to my table. Also the food is very delicious I would definitely recommend it to anyone that hasn't tried this place yet. Very processional and very nice service. Thanks a lot guys will be definitely visiting again with my parents in future. A+++

This is my second time coming here and the food is super expensive and not worth the price. Portions are small. Food doesn't taste that great. We had some chicken nuggets left over for the little one so we asked for a take away container and was told to pay 50cents for it! What a joke, seriously it was hardly anything left but the little one wanted it. Honestly better off going else were for the price you'll be paying. Never coming here again.

Afghan Master Kebab is already a famous name for Afghani style kebabs and bbq they have recently opened its branch in cragieburn at a nice spot. easily accessible and seating is very good same taste like other locations. staff is very friendly and welcoming we ordered mixed kebab plate which had 2 meat minced and 2 chicken with roti price wise it was good quantity and quality is food is amazing 10/10 highly recommended

Ordered half charcoal chicken by doordash. Bread was missing in the meal. Called up restaurant and the lady on the other side mentioned that she packed food herself and definitely put bread in it. She asked me to come to restaurant anyways to get bread...weird. why would I order online if I could drive up there myself ! Chicken was cooked good though. But the experience was poor. I'd not order from here again.

Horrible Horrible customer service. The only reason I come here is because there is no other afghan restaurant in craigeburn. I wish someone else opens and closes this place. The food is average but these people are just so rude. If you ask them for anything - cups, spoons or even a plate they look at you like they will kill you. Their attitude really needs to change or they will continue to lose customers.

If you're craving for Kebab, then it's the right place to go❤️, the food is cooked fresh, so you might have to wait for some time. The portions are big and price is reasonable as well, ambience is nice and I loved the tea presentation.

Food here delicious- meat great. Food was a little slow to arrive but worth waiting for. Very disappointed though that tap water not available with meals. We do not purchase bottled water due to environmental concerns, and feel it’s reasonable to expect tap water be provided in a dine in restaurant. Eating thirsty detracts from the experience.

Must give five stars for taste and quality of food. Very similar to authentic Pakistani food. Specially charcoal chicken, biryani and grilled fish. Naan bread is also very nice if eaten in restaurant nice and warm. In take away gets bit cold. Food was so nice both times forgot to take pics.

Delicious Afghan food my go to place for dining out in Craigieburn or if I’m not looking to eat at home I usually order from this place . Food is fresh always and right up to the standards my kids love it too

A master in taste and freshness. Generous portions. Had the Koobideh platter with extra salad. The lady was extra accommodating when I asked to charge a device and served us with extra yogurt sauce. Ambience is clean and spacious. Will be back. Highly recommend.

I Honestly can say that I Loved the food. It was very busy when I got there. Then things wound down a bit. It was worth the wait. As Expected the food was Delicious. A must try for anyone out there seeking to try the Best of Afghanistan food.
