Nette Gastgeber, immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit, aber nicht aufdringlich. Süßer Hauskater Raoul, man trifft sich im Treppenhaus oder auf der gemütlichen Terrasse hinterm Haus. Beste Lage an kleiner grüner Straße am Wasser, aber auch in direkter Nähe zum Bahnhof und Parkplatz, für den es gratis eine Zufahrtsberechtigung gibt.

If we’ll ever come back to Ghent, we’re definitely coming back here as well. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. The apartment is lovely, roomy, extremely well-equipped and features a very thought-through and well working SmartHome technology that is easy to handle. This apartment is very close to the train station and we had the opportunity of free parking. Also many of the sites in Ghent can easily be reached by foot and there’s a bus stop right in front of the door, so you can get anywhere fast from here. The hosts are very kind and likeable, the communication was uncomplicated and the location has a cute cat as a bonus. The price was very fair regarding both the location and the equipment and size of the apartment.

Dear Travelers, do you know the feeling when you walk into a room and immediately realize that care and love and attention have been put into it? So much of it, in fact, that you can't help but make your own behavior in this room a little friendlier, brighter and more careful? So that you yourself become a little more attentive because you want to appreciate what someone has created so beautifully? That's how I felt during my stay in this apartment. All the furnishings are of a high quality, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and there is a thoughtful detail in every corner (e.g. shoe shine kit), which makes your stay in a foreign city even more pleasant. In addition, the two hosts are real sweethearts and make you feel like you're in good hands the whole time. I've stayed in many apartments, but this one is a special gem and a particularly warm and bright little "cave" with a terrace, a place to relax on arrival, linger and explore the city. Excellent place! Great location, very close to the train station, yet within 10 minutes walking of the city center. Park in front of the house to load and unload luggage, and plenty of long-term parking options at the train station. Tom and Jurgen are the best hosts you can imagine: extremely friendly and helpful, flexible in check-in and check-out time, and take their time to explain everything. Very cosy and completely renovated apartment. The kitchen and bathroom are beautiful and well-equipped. Excellent king-size bed with Tempur mattress, very quiet in the apartment. High-tech place with automatic window blinds, great airconditioning, control the lights from anywhere in the apartment. Highly recommended for a stay in Ghent, whether leisure or business.

Tom and Jürgen's place, hands down, was the best bnb that we have ever had. The apartment was very clean and cozy, and its location was perfect. Totally walkable distance to all the tourists' spots. And even if you don't wanna walk, there's bus stop right in front and behind the apartment. Not only the apartment was nice, Tom and Jürgen were so kind, understanding and helpful. They have so much information provided for us to enhance out visit, like where to go, what to eat and so on. They also sell homemade food and other snacks, which were very useful when you're too tired to go out and get food yourself. And I have to say, Tom's food was delicious! Also, their cat Raoul <3 such a cutie! We really enjoyed our stay there. We would 100% recommend anyone who wants to visit Ghent to stay at Tom and Jürgen's!!!

Sehr gepflegtes Objekt. Man spürt das da jemand mit viel Liebe und einem guten Geschmack zugange war um diese Wohnung zu einem Wohlfühlort für andere Menschen zu machen. Man fühlt sich wohl und findet alles und damit meine ich wirklich alles für einen Urlaub (außerhalb eines Hotels) vor um sich gut selber versorgen zu können. Man muss zum Essen nicht zwangsläufig außer Haus, da man sich gut auch Vorort etwas zubereiten kann. Nette kleine Begrüßungsdetails wie selbstgebackene Kekse/ Küchlein usw. um gut anzukommen. Zentrumsnähe, mit zentraler Parkmöglichkeit für das Auto. Einziger Nachteil für mich persönlich als ältere "Fußkranke" die steile schmale Treppe. Ansonsten absolut empfehlenswert mit netten Gastgebern. Dickes Lob!

Nothing was missing in this apartment. Abubdance of everythibg: kindness, helpfullness, equipment in the apartment and kitchen, good snacks and drinks in the fridge when we arrived. And even a cat! Perfect location; walking distance to everything in the city center and the train station. We got tips on downloading the app for the train, which made it easy to find time table and the best way to travel. We were on a day trip to Bruges and Brussels, which is to be recommended, but we mean that Ghent is absolutely the best city to stay in. It is quiet and peaceful and there is a lot to see and experiense. Many thanks to Tom and Jurgen!

We recently stayed at this beautiful apartment only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Ghent and had a fantastic 4 days there. It's right next to the train station and in a great location on the canal, in a quiet and safe part of town. Communication with the owners was excellent both before and during our stay, and they have equipped this lovely little place to the highest standard with lots of little extra special touches. Our welcome gifts were much appreciated, and we enjoyed our visits from Raoul the cat I cannot recommend this place highly enough - if you're looking for a quirky, unique, quiet apartment for a great price close to the centre of town then you couldn't get better!

We had such a wonderful experience staying in this stylish and comfortable apartment. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. The apartment was not only beautiful, but is also sustainable. There were many nice features, including the kitchen with an espresso machine and seltzer maker. There were lots of interesting books to look at and thankfully air conditioning for hot days. The apartment is located with easy access to the historic center and very close to the Gent-Dampoort train station, so we were easily able to take day trips to Bruges, Antwerp, and Brussels, as well as enjoying Ghent. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We’d loved our stay.

La mejor experiencia, es un apartamento muy bien ubicado. Los anfitriones son lo mejor siempre están prestos a ayudar, estuvieron pendientes de cuando estamos por llegar para que estuviéramos confortables. Nos recibieron con unos presentes en la nevera, el apartamento es muy limpio, es igual que en las fotos que se publican. Tuvimos que solicitar parqueadero porque habíamos alquilado auto y ellos nos ayudaron a conseguir parqueadero. en la planta baja de la casa hay una nevera en donde puedes tomar alimentos por un precio justo y cocinarlos en el apartamento que está muy bien equipado. En resumen con mi esposa nos sentimos como en casa.

this is the nicest cleanest best place I’ve ever stayed at. The hosts were over the top, friendly and helpful. The experience was just perfect. Exceeded all expectations. 5+ stars. Great location to just walk into historic downtown Kent. A five minute walk to the train station. Does it get any better.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Gand dans ce logement. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Tom et Jurgen , dans un logement bien agencé et super bien équipé !( Un gros plus pour la machine à café, il est excellent) la literie est excellente également. L'emplacement du logement bien situé, proche d'un ptit endroit sympa avec de jolis bateaux. Nous recommandons !

If you're looking for the best spot in lovely Ghent, you've found it! The studio is super clean, very stylish and more than well-equipped in a central location though still very quiet. And there is also a small delicious breakfast included with homemade products. The lovely hosts are not only very helpful with nice tips in the area, but were also very flexible with our check-in and out. Thanks again - we'll be back soon!

An amazing place and experience. Tom and Jurgen are incredible hosts and everything is impeccable. I truly recommend to check out the fridge. It is filled with goodies and with Tom’s cooking who is a great chef. i also like the location a lot, everything you need is in a short walking distance and the train station is also very close. I wholeheartedly recommend Agelandkaai in Gent. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Jurgen and Tom’s place is truly amazing and highly recommended. The perfect accommodation for a getting away in the city of Ghent. The spaces are clean, well equipped and decorated with an effortless sense of style and a love for good stuff. The hosts are friendly and even assisted us with diner recommendations. The location of the studio and appartement is great, situated within walking distance of the city center.

Tom and Jurgen are very kind amd helpfull hosts! We had a great time at Agelandkaai and recommend the location highly!

Wir hatten tolle Tage in Gent. Die Wohnung von Tom und Jurgen ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Alles Nötige und darüber hinaus ist vorhanden. Die Lage ist perfekt. Jurgen und Tom sind tolle Gastgeber. Bei Fragen erhält man schnell eine Antwort. Sollten wir wieder einmal in Gent sein, möchten wir auf jeden Fall wieder bei Tom und Jurgen buchen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Tom et Jurgen, qui nous ont remarquablement bien accueillis. En plus plus de nous avoir cuisiné de délicieux gâteaux, ils nous ont donné des conseils très utiles pour profiter de la ville. L’appartement est décoré avec soin, et très agréable à vivre : lumineux, bien équipé et au bord d’un canal. Allez y les yeux fermés !

Aanrader! Afgelopen zomer hebben mijn zoon en ik 3 nachten verbleven in dit mooie huis voorzien van alle gemakken. Super gastheren. Mooie schoon appartement. Op loopafstand van het centrum. Parkeergelegenheid. En heerlijke zelfgemaakte lekkernij in de koelkast. We hebben genoten!

We stayed on this flat in Gent and the experiencie was brilliant. It was very well comunicated with train station and city center. Also they had a lot of good details like a fridge full of homemade food, good quality electronic devices and nice decoration. Communication with the host was perfect.

Lovely comfortable apartment with a high quality finish, close to the centre and train station in a nice area. Hosts where very helpful and explained everything thoroughly.

By far one of the best stays I have had in the past years :) Tom and Jürgen are adorable people, with two amazing cats, and an amazing house. Sparkling clean, super well decorated, and super central.

We had the nicest stay at Jurgen and Tom's. The place was perfectly located to visit beautiful Gent, the flat very neat and thoughtfully arranged. Will definitely come back there next time!

Modern apartment with all the mod cons for a comfortable stay not far from the centre of Ghent. Hosts we're very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
