Was great to experience this for the first time just before the end of 2021. We arrived here after going to Wilson's Botanical Gardens at approximately 10:15 on a Sunday morning. Got a parking somewhat okay because of the turnover, but boy was it packed!! Ended up doing the Gözleme for brekkie and it was good. It seems to have the whole works. Surprised there was some guitars/ukuleles for sale, furniture made out of metal barrels, chopper tools (could be exaggerating a little there), veggies, basic tools and candles (plus did I mention candles?) A nice place to kick-start a Sunday morning.

Hi I love Akoonah Park. As it is a very peaceful location and it's surrounding. The atmosphere is great. The display of items, such as vegetables, fruits and plant display are capturing of peaceful serenity. I always visit Akoonah Park for my plants and vegetables and also some times have Break fast. Thank you for having such great place and the great idea. Thank you Desmond

Great place to go on Sundays to get Stuff. Yea, just another market, but with indoor outdoor stalls, there is something for everyone. Jam donuts of course which is the motivation to go, then going through the stalls and checking out all the knick knacks. Seedlings every year for the vegi patch, flowers, even a van with gourmet cheeses and one with deli goods.

A great place to visit specially on Sunday morning for its community market. Love all the vendors and food trucks. One of the fairly priced and good quality Roses, flower plants and vegi plants. Gentlemen with roses, he is one of the humble person who likes to educate about roses and how / when to grow.

Great park catering for walkers, football, joggers, off leash dog park and the Market every Sunday. New bag and bin dog station recently installed. Please pick up after your dog. Some people ignore the rules and make it into a mine zone trying to avoid dog poo.

Akoonah Park Night Market was excellent. Well laid out, sufficient places to sit and eat, good amount of stalls open. I would highly recomend it to anyone. I believe there will be at least 3 more, so if you can make it go along to at least one of them.

One of the bigger markets left. Unfortunately the "trash" part is losing out to the soap and candles brigade. Dogs are unfortunately allowed, even those that do not have a fully functioning carer. Beware the dog lead hurdles, a lawyer's dream.

Beautiful surroundings, my dog loves this place! Just about all the pet parents are friendly and all the pets seem to be well socialised. There's a coffee van there from Monday-Saturday which has beautiful coffee and cookies.

Plenty of stuff to look at. From tools, old and new, to arts and craft. Fresh fruit and veges stalls sell good produce. There is a great second hand book shop too. Food stalls are reasonably plentiful and are good.

Market is full of Food Stalls and Fruit- Veg but not much else, a lot of empty spaces as well ( Due to predicted Heat?) Has lost a lot of the private sellers and good cheap bits n pieces.

  • Greg

Great array of interests, crafts, plants, fresh fruits amd veg, plenty of food and doughnut and coffee, parking sometimes difficult but always find a spot

More of a field than a park. Needs a big upgrade. More pleasant places to sit with flower gardens ,BBQ's, play equipment etc. More seats around the park.

Very busy before Christmas. Wear a mask even though less than 20% of shareholders and visitors are wearing a mask. It is not over yet.
