Owner Shandon is a pure heart of amazing woman owned businesses in West Seattle. Expect to the overloaded with friendly customer service, and the perfect gift for anyone for every occasion. Blown away by the wide variety of locally made bath products, tees, mugs, trinkets, Jewelry, greeting cards and so much more. She is always getting new arrivals of products and giving the local support right back to the community by buying from small batch companies and local artists. These are unprecedented times and it's hard to know how to support one another. My sister in law has Down Syndrome and is a brittle diabetic. She's been isolated since the beginning of all this in order to keep her healthy. Shandon just opened her doors to Monika yesterday so she could shop before the store opened to the public. Monika prefers to communicate through cards and they are also very much her love language. She had time to herself to look through each one at Alair and find the next two months of cards for our family and friends. All our gratitude Shandon!! You are a gem in this community.

Just a gem of a local shop! Friendly and amazing staff, and equally amazing owner. Everyone remembers my son and what he likes and what he is into and they always have something in stock that he will love. They have great selection of stuff so you can pick up last minute gifts and a quirky card or you can just grab a treat for yourself. I have never made a purchase here that I didn't love. I'm a big fan of their cookbook selection in particular! It is my go-to source for pens too!

The employees were really helpful finding stocking stuffers for Christmas, but they have amazing gifts for year round. Most products are from womxn owned and/or locally owned businesses, and the quality of their products shows across the entire store. There's a solid mix of kooky, fun gifts and heartfelt gifts. A great stop for that person you are stuck on for theur birthday or a holiday.

Alair is the best freaking store ever. Shandon does an amazing job curating unique, local products that will have you giggling and noticing something new with every lap around the store. I could spend hours in here. Plus, Dylan the shop dog is the absolute cutest and sweetest pup! ❤️ By far the best gift shop in the area for cards, gifts, and everything else you might possibly need.

Alair has been my go to gift shop for years. I discovered them when I randomly won an Instagram contest of theirs and have been a loyal customer since. They have something for everyone — and I mean EVERYONE. their goods are high quality, their staff are fantastic, and I love their punch card system for greeting cards. I can’t recommend Alair enough!!!

Love that I can support a fantastic local business via online shopping and local delivery! I am being extra picky about my excursions out of the house during the pandemic, but I can still buy fun things and great gifts at Alair. I know that a lot of work goes into having in-person AND online shopfronts, so major appreciation to this shop.

VERY cute shop with easy street parking. The items in this shop are beautifully curated! The aesthetic in the shop is so satisfying. Things are grouped together so well. I absolutely loved looking at everything. The nice human working was super friendly and fun to chit chat with, too!

We needed gift wrapping. Shandon and friends made it happen even on the days they were closed. My wife dropped off the gift. She said it looks like a great little gift shop. The gift wrap was really special! They said that all donations for gift wrapping go to charity. We like that!

OBSESSED with this store! The selection of greeting cards is amazing, one for every occasion. Also love the Estrella bath and body selections of body butter and bath salts (all vegan and local). The owner is super wonderful and is always willing to help in finding the perfect gift.

They have an amazing collection of unique cards and merchandise. If you sign up for the newsletter they do spotlights on some of the makers of the products they carry. Great staff and COVID-19 precautions are in place so everyone is protected but still able to enjoy the shop.

I found this shop on Instagram and ordered a few things online. In the chaos of COVID-19 my package was lost in the mail. They were soooo responsive and honest and went above and beyond to fix the situation. I hope to visit the shop in person someday!
