If Zahid Hamidi's DNAA last week made you want to dissociate from Malaysia through and through - fret not, I have the perfect restaurant for you to get your patriotism back up. Corruption is no reason to stop devouring Malaysian food! This restaurant offers decently varied options of Malaysian Chinese cuisine. The menu was an animated experience in and of itself. We ordered the Sarawak laksa, and the curry pan mee. Political opinions aside, I thought the Sarawak laksa was pretty decent - the spice options were very authentic and fragrant, and the size of the prawns reminded me of the size of Najib's bank account at its peak - hefty! The curry pan mee was quite good as well, we particularly appreciated how the noodles were hand pulled, and the curry was packed with umami flavours as well. We also would definitely recommend dipping the pan mee chilli as well if you like a bit of spice in your dish. It was free but I'd be willing to pay for that authentic goodness. Keep it up!

My 100% usual at Albee is their kolo mee + curry chicken - rate 4.5 stars. Curry puff - 4 stars. 2 weeks ago, tried their herbal chicken soup for a change. Soup barely pass, had quite a bit of ginger (I like) but the amount of chicken that they had in the soup (refer to pics), pathetic. It seem like the chicken they used were drums sticks that were crushed into bits; I was eating chicken out of broken bones, if I could salvage ANY meat. U can see the quantity of the chicken beside the chilli saucer - yup that's all the chicken in the soup. 1 star for herbal chicken, please remove from menu.

It is very crowded in here and it gets super busy during lunch and dinner time. The menu can be very overwhelming if you’ve never had Malaysian food before as there are many options to choose from. I’ve been here a couple of times and their Hainanese chicken with rice is delicious. Also recommend their char kway teo dish (stir fry noodles). They are very generous with their portions and the prices are decent as well. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving for Malaysian food!

My third time visiting this place. The place is now spacious as they are already moving to a few doors down. This time I had the salmon fish head noodle soup, it was my favourite by far from the menu. The broth was flavourful and I am glad that I am having this. My mom has the Assam laksa, she said it was Ok, just missing the fish that Assam Laksa usually has.

Great serving size and good variety of the dishes. Nasi Lemak is very spot on, especially the coconut rice. Lamb skewers could be more tender. Pan mee has nice texture but could have more flavours. Overall servicing is not very appealing through my multiple visits. But I’ll still come back for the food.

Nice local joint for a dose of South East Asian comfort food! Strong flavours & extensive choices! The downsides are the appalling rude service, hygiene and crowded ambience. You have to grab your own cutlery & fill your own water. Nevertheless, we come back for the authentic flavours & quick comfort food fix, the food doesn’t disappoint!

This recently renovated Malaysian restaurant offers exceptionally delicious food. The new shop is right next door to the old one, and the prices are very reasonable. I go there almost every lunchtime.
