After reading a few 5 star reviews here, I planned to get service from Drew from Alberta Lock Services. Here are a few reasons for my 1 star based on my recent experience to help others who might benefit from it: • Arrived 35 minutes late, didn’t have the courtesy to call and inform me that he was running late. • We agreed what job had to be done and how much he would charge over the phone twice. As soon as he entered, he completely disregarded our verbal agreement, seemed surprised on how many locks had to be changed (they were 3 in total) and asked for more money. • Seemed unenthusiastic about the job he was doing, mentioned he didn’t know much about how the lock works with all the ins and outs (even though he mentioned upon arrival that he had worked on the exact same lock multiple times before). • Only provided 1 key- we had agreed to at least 5 over the phone. • Was short on supplies/spare parts. • Seemed to be in rush to get this over it quickly (by doing the bare minimum). In conclusion, he charged almost what other locksmiths would have charged, did not finish the job completely (had to call another locksmith to complete unfinished work), seemed unprofessional and wanted to rip off his customer. This is not the right way to do business and build your reputation. I would recommend not your wasting time and money and to look for other, better qualified professionals.

When do you need a locksmith? At the last second or the eleventh hour, I gave these guys next to no time for an urgent residential re-key situation and he was on our doorstep within the hour! I don't really use the word best very often but Drew at Alberta Lock really is the best locksmith that we lucked out finding. He re-keyed 3 in 20 minutes, replaced another entirely in 10 and even gave me a breakdown of everything I need to know to find the ancient parts for a particularly old piece that we kept. He even cut extra keys for us on site! We had quotes from 3 other companies and they didn't come close to what Alberta Lock came in at and they troubleshooted on-site to make everything easier. An easy 5 stars! Thanks again for coming today guys!

Locked out of our shop at 4 am with a crew ready to get working. I called the long list of locksmiths that advertise "24hr" service and Drew (Alberta lock) was the only person who picked up the phone and was ready to help. He was at our shop within 15 min (exactly what he said) and got us I the shop withing 5 min. Drew (Alberta Lock) is friendly, Profesional and honest..... he does what he says and as advertised! Thank you Drew, we have been in business for 23 years and you will our go to locksmith moving forward! If your reading this don't waste your time calling anyone else!

I have nothing but great things to say about Drew. He arrived within an hour of receiving my distress call, attempted to repair a faulty front door lock, then replaced it with a superior model. He even helped a neighbor with their lock before leaving. I am very thankful for his expertise, efficiency, and empathy in dealing with my time-sensitive situation. The service was beyond my expectation. I was having a rough night since I’ve lost both my car key and apartment key. Drew is very professional and does a great job putting/re-keying locks and/or installing keypad locks in my client's homes . The keypads are popular because once installed they have keyless entry with keyed backup if they need it and a 3 year warrantee through Drew. Drew also relates well to my Realty clients with his friendly personality. Thanks Drew!

Drew was very personable and friendly. I was locked out of my house at 1AM and he was able to arrive quickly and help me get back into my house. Tried to get a locksmith hard to believe no one want to work any more they either no call back or over charge. Found Drew from Alberta Lock get the job done within 2 hours and better price. Great to deal with, I’d imagine nobody calls them when their day is going smoothly, super personable, seems like the kind of guy to go out of his way to make sure he can help as best he can, very accommodating and fair on price.
