Mr. John McCormack is the best realtor that I have worked with. My wife and I purchased a home in 2019 in Rio Rancho with John’s superb knowledge of the local market as well as numerous other areas of concern for buyers in the market. This was essential in the process. I have worked with other realtors in Albuquerque in the recent and distant past (as well as other states) and none of them can compare to the care John provided to our situation. One challenge we had this time was that I was out of the state for work for most of the process so my wife worked directly with John while I worked remotely with him. Suffice to say that he was able to accommodate our situation and make strides to help us in this unique situation. John is unlike other realtors whom are commonly on the phone or dealing with other issues while visiting a potential property. He does not operate this way. John provided us (me on FaceTime) with his full attention and made comments and useful suggestions as we toured the properties. His insight was more than valuable, especially when I was not able to physically be on-site. Our home has everything that we wanted and we would not have found this location without John. John is more than knowledgeable about construction and building theory. He was commonly viewed by me as analyzing different parts of the homes during tours and not just making comments but also offering viable and realistic suggestions. What really hits home with me is that even after the sale was finalized, John was still taking the time to reach out to us and asked us what WE needed. He follows up with nice greetings during the holidays, which is important to me. In addition, he acted very quickly in a very unique scenario concerning one of my siblings and was able to make referrals to professional and helpful real estate attorneys in a very timely manner. Last, while refinancing the current property, I needed information that was asked of me by the lender at the last minute. All I had to do was send John and email and describe the documentation that was being asked of me (which I was not able to explain well, in my opinion) and he responded within an hour and sent the exact documents that would suffice for the lender. That really solidified my trust and confidence in John and Albuquerque Homes Realty. You will notice in my review that I mainly refer to this realtor by his first name. That is because he takes personal care of his clients and I feel just by calling him by his first name because he made us feel like family. I would not purchase another property without John. Please do not go to another realtor. I stand by my entire review wholeheartedly.

If you are moving to the Albuquerque area or making a lateral move in the Albuquerque area you need to read this review now! Just over the last three years my wife and I decided to move from the state of Michigan to Albuquerque for retirement and the southwest sunshine. Although we thought this would be daunting little did we know how out of step we were when it came to such a move with moving cost and that that wonderful new gadget the internet and computers. John and his wife did an amazing job for us, starting with a walk through and detailed list of things to be done prior to showing. We followed every detail and kept John appraised of our progressive. He is so very responsive and positive always there to offer ideas. Not having been in the house purchase mode we relied on John to go over his pricing ideas and backed them up with comparable house appraisals. When it came time to make the list active he gave a 7 day prior release to make potential buyers of our listing. The next thing John did was an amazing video of our home that dozens of our friends and family reviewed. Several of them admitted that after being in our home several times over the 22 years we owned it, John's video showed them unique things about our house they never noticed. I cannot say enough great things about John and his insight of the market. If you decide to list with John my best advice is to follow his suggestions to the detail. You will be richly rewarded at closing time. Because of John's work our house sold for 10% more than the asking price to the first couple who saw it. There were 9 ther offers in the course of 16 showings.
