Never again. The ladies were nice and courteous but I left disappointed and got mad when I got home. I haven’t been to a Dominican salon in over a decade and won’t be going back. I walked in and the air was smoky from the blow drying. I spent 3 hours there. I was overcharged for a wash, deep conditioning (that I didn’t ask for), poorly washed scalp and roller set. I didn’t want a blow dry or flatiron bc I don’t put that much heat in my hair. That’s why it’s long and healthy. I paid $95 plus tip. Maybe they also charged me to detangle my hair or inflation? I’m not sure. When I got home and took it down from the wrap, flakes came down and they’re still excessively coming down every time I run my fingers through it. It’s like no effort was made to clean my scalp. I’ve learned my lesson. Never again.

This was a 5 star experience! I am new to Charlotte and this is my first time coming to a salon. I was so nervous but these ladies were amazing! They were so kind and professional. I LOVE my hair. They knew just how to handle my African roots honey. This was my first Dominican Blowout and it won't be my last. They even hooked up my brows before I left. They really helped boost my confidence. It wasn't until I checked out that I discovered my bank decided to block my debit card do to suspicious activity on my account. I was so embarrassed but they were still kind and didn't shame me while I worked out something to complete my payment. I've never been treated so well at a salon. Thank you so much. I feel beautiful and ready to get back out there again!

I am between a 3 and 4 stars bc even though almost everything was great, my hair looked fabulous after, I did NOT get the ONE thing I actually asked for. I came in and said I need to cut my split ends. They suggested a blow out and deep conditioning as well and I happily agreed. I told her I want to keep my hair as long as possible BUT please just make sure my split ends are cut. The next day once, I have a chance to actually notice my hair still has too many split ends. I paid $150 for them to NOT do the one thing I actually asked for. It’s really annoying but if you go just make sure you are painfully clear with what you want. They are very talented, my hair looked really nice so I’m very disappointed that I have to go get it cut again.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Went from black/brown to a balayage blonde...It turned out amazing! Thank you Mary, you did an amazing job! I was so nervous since I've never dyed my hair and I definitely picked the right place to go. Everyone was so nice! To the staff and Mary, thank you again!! Edit 2/1: Came back after a couple months to get hair dyed again, I couldn't wait till summer so...lol. Rosanna did AMAZING! $120 for shampoo, conditioner and blow dry. Never paid this much without a color before. I pay at other salons $50. You expect to get a good service with the price but they handle my hair very rough. I have naturally soft curly hair. I was shocked by the whole experience. Not to mention the high heat that got too close to my scalp once had to jump on my seat. The good reviews are questionable.

This is the answer!! I was out with my wife, and she wanted to get her hair and nails done. I called around, and everyone said that they took walk-ins. To make a long story short, they did NOT. So, by chance, we stop in to Almonte, and they really do! They were absolutely WONDERFUL!! Great people, great haircut (Rosanna) and amazing nail (Sara). THANK YOU AGAIN LADIES!

Great experience. Very patient with me after being nervous about getting my hair done by someone new since I experienced major hair damage from braids earlier this year. Giving 4 stars otherwise I would give 5 stars but considering I only got a shampoo style & deep moisturizing conditioner for $95, I thought was a bit pricey. Otherwise, wonderful job!!!

I love coming to Almonte Salon and Spa....I moved to the Ayrsley area and started coming here a few years back and have relocated and still drive here for a blowout. The ladies are very professional, thorough, and quick.I always leave with a sleek, light weight, shiny blow out with no concerns of heat damage. You won't regret your visit!

If I could rate 10 stars I would! They serviced my entire family today my son got his first male manicure, my husband got a pedicure (the best one he said he had... because they care about the health of your feet here.) My daughter got a blow out and omg she looked gorgeous! Please don't hesitate to come here you will not regret it.

Hands down, the best hair salon. I make the almost two hour drive from Asheville just to get my hair done here, because I will be taken care of here. I have THICK and long hair, and they handle my hair with such care. My hair and scalp have never felt better. I highly recommend this salon!

I came with my brother and my mom cause me and my brother have tough hair and barbers never cut it even leaving it lopsided. The deep conditioned, blow dried, evenly cut, and refueled our hair. They did a great job and it was a great environment. It’s pricey but the outcome is great.

I have been getting my hair done here for a few years and absolutely love it! The ladies really do a great job with the blower. I also take my daughter who has super curly hair and her hair really lasts which is almost unheard of! The best salon in Charlotte hands down.
