We absolutely love this place , the coconut cake and cheesecake are to die for. My granddaughter had her birthday party this past Saturday and on Monday prior I called and ordered two dozen (24) cupcakes for a pick up 10:30 . While on the phone I confirmed the price twice with the young lady . She quoted me $48.00 for the two dozen . I was okay with that price due to how happy we have been with the bakery. Upon arrival I was informed it was $90.00 for two dozen (24) cupcakes . I was taken back by that amount and went over my conversation and the man said I will get fired if I honor that price. I asked to speak with management or owner. The owner came out , again went over the phone conversation and the quote given. She immediately accused me of not hearing them and would not lower the price , stating I am a business and need to profit . I choose to purchase a dozen at the price of $45.00 because we still had a birthday party later that day . It’s unfortunate this owner went this route , I understand she a business and her food is very good , but when one is quoted twice this price should be honored. Unfortunately I will never return here and I will let ppl know the money of a profit was more important than honoring a quote provided by her staff .

Very disappointed. I was excited to try this place out. I placed a phone order for a 6” birthday cake ($32), for pickup for two days later. Upon arrival I was informed that the cake was made a 9” ($52). I informed the cashier that I ordered the six inch and that I was expecting to pay the $32, after a moment he shrugged his shoulders and slid the cake across the counter. I ended up paying $52 for a larger cake than what I ordered. I’m not a confrontational type of person so I ultimately decided to take it and leave. Upon eating the cake I was disappointed even further that it was dry. It’s one thing to pay extra for a good cake, but this one was not worth the extra money. I placed feedback online and left a voicemail to discuss with the owner. Never heard back and it’s been two weeks. This cake was for my mother who spent the previous two weeks in the hospital, and who stated while in the hospital that she was craving a cake from here. So I decided to get it for her birthday the last week of July. I was definitely upset of my experience but even more so that it wasn’t quite what she was expecting. Overall not a pleasant experience.

The only reason this place didn’t receive 5 stars is because they over packed one cookie box so the bottom layer of cookies were completely smashed. ☹️ I was blessed to have a nice guy come into my office and hand me a box of these magical cookies. They were shared with others who also fell head over heels for the Italian butter and amaretti cookies. Light, not too sweet and melt in your mouth goodness. The next week I emailed to inquire about ordering 3.5 pounds of cookies for various people. My email was responded to in less than 24 hours! We went back and forth in email to get the orders ready for pickup. I showed up on a Saturday morning and my orders were ready. The young men working the counter were very friendly. By the time I checked out at 10:35AM the bakery was packed with people. This is no joke. I drove from Fleming Island (an hour total) for these cookies and I would do it again! They are worth the price at around $17 a pound. I will be sharing this place with as many as I can even though they clearly don’t need the accolades.

Would give zero if an option...This place has absolutely the worst service. Baked goods are great but the management is horrible. Been going here for a long time but completely over the constant changing hours and nonsense from the management. This past weekend (Saturday before Easter) stopped for a slice of cake and pie for out of town guests and was told, "We are not selling by the slice today". What?!?! They sell by the slice every other day! Some BS due to holiday thing they cooked up for some bizarre reason. Were they afraid of waste? Sorry cost of doing business that every bakery has. They make more selling by the slice than they do whole pies! On way out saw group of 3 elderly people ask for slices and they were refused also. How many people thought the day were refused? Good bet at least a whole cake or pies worth. Worst service ever and will never be back. Whoever made that decision should be shown the door!

So this place is consistently really good. I wanted to order a cake from here so I went in to try some of their product before I ordered. I have been back quite a few times now and everything I have tried so far has been stellar. Every time I go in they have a few things that are typically always there and then what seems to be a rotation of other pastry in their repertoire which definitely keeps it interesting. So far from cupcakes to cannoli to cookies I have been repeatedly impressed. Shout out to a phenomenal coconut cream pie that was there last week which is something I normally would never reach for but I am very glad I did. Great work, keep it up. I hope everyone finally realizes how terrible Publix is and switches to an actual bakery like this one.

Hands-down worst experience ever just drove 45 minutes to come get what they say are Italian pastries for the holidays, it’s 11 AM they have nothing there one person says it’ll be ready at 12 the other person says it’ll be a few hours. I asked if I can pay for my stuff now and come back later and get it. He said no they don’t do that they lose profit. How would you lose profit if I paid for something and came back and got it ? The gentleman blamed the owner and then the two girls working the counter who have absolutely no customer service who don’t know anything about the job that they’re doing even if the cookies are good or the pastries I would never go back piece of my interaction with those three

BREAD PUDDING! Yes that's one of the reasons we keep coming back to Amaretti! It's just soo good! They have other cakes and pastries but our visit is not complete without it! A MUST try! Another favorite of mine is the Everything Croissant with Cream Cheese filling! I always toast it at home because it tastes better! Crunchy and flaky, delicious! You'll be lucky if they still have some left in the afternoon so be early! Their Pistachio Muffin is yummy too. Aside from desserts, they also serve coffee which is perfect with those sweets! Obviously, I highly recommend this place! You will not be disappointed!

The people here are very kinda and wonderful to talk to! The baked goods here are amazing and they have a good variety baked there at the store. The bakery is VERY clean and very cute! The coffee is insanely good and they have good milk alternatives and really interesting flavors! I love this place! Also I'd like to mention that the prices are justified. these are fresh baked goods that take time and ingredients to make. Not just something thats frozen and reheated. It is definitely something to be enjoyed! :) I would've taken a picture of the things I ordered but they were too delicious!

This place ! I can't express this enough... their bread pudding is soooo good. Even if you don't really favor bread pudding (or have never tried it) make it a point to at least try theirs. Whenever I stop in, I get 2 orders of bread pudding & 1 tirumisu (which is also fantastic) then pick out a random item out of their case that I have yet to try. I also grab a flavored coffee, which they have many flavor choices you can mix & match into your cup-o-caffeine. If you're looking to try something more local, shop small, & not so mainstream (starbucks/peterbrooke), go here.

The desserts are great but they need to package them better. I bought multiple speciality cupcakes for Star Wars Day because it is also my birthday. I was very careful with them but all of them still turned over in their boxes. I was so disappointed. No point in buying them if they got ruined before I even got home. If you order from here, just do not take cupcakes to go--they will not make it home. Honestly, if they just gave sturdy bags instead of the flimsy plastic bags, this probably would not happen. Prices sure are high enough to warrant a sturdier bag.

My husband & I stopped here for the 1st time after dinner last night. I got the cookie dough cupcake & he got a slice of the chocolate cake.. they were both delicious! While the food was great, the staff was extremely unprofessional. "Allyson" was complaining that another store called about being out of milk & "didn't take the responsibility to put it on the list" but she went on and on, using the "F" word multiple times very loudly in the shop. It's one thing to feel that way, but another to Express it that way.. loudly.. in front of customers.

this is our FAVORITE bakery. we try to visit a few times a month and it is amazing every single time. my daughter and husband stick to their go-tos which is the key lime pie tart and the oreo red velvet cheesecake, both of which are divine. I try to get something different each time bc they have so much to choose from! Everything I have tried so far has been delicious from the cookies to the tiramisu. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order from them. Their staff has always been so friendly and helpful too!

Delicious dessert & we highly recommend you try them all! We love coming here from time to time and treating ourselves to some delicious sweets. We have yet to try something we do not like. Amarettis has been a family favorite for years! Desserts are delicious, staff very friendly. Only 2 things can use improvement- there isn't really any variety, the menu is mainly the same year round and doesn't really include fruit items/flavors, and they frequently run out of stock of many items early in the day. Always a good idea to call before you visit if you're looking for something specific but if you can get what you want it is always a perfect treat.

This is an amazing place to go for delicious baked items. Everything I have tried here has been really good. They have just about everything from mini Italian cookies, assorted cakes cookies, cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, muffins and more. My personal favorites are the cupcakes, the peanut butter pie and most recently I tried the Smores Chocolate Chip cookie bar, I highly recommend it. It's a good thing there is a Planet Fitness right across the street :)

I'm from Chicago originally and my favorite dessert has always been Taramisu. Yesterday was my 58th birthday and my daughter order from y'all. She wasn't able to get the whole cake cause of it being last minute but she got 6 slices. Omgosh literally was the best I've ever had. Coming from me and my flavors I insist on being from such a flavorful city is a very high compliment. I'm so very impressed and thankful. Y'all are super amazing!!

Awesome bakery! I had their red velvet oreo cheesecake when they had their location at San Marco and didn't realize they opened a different location. It was just as delicious as I remembered. The red velvet cake is really good and the buttercream is not too sweet. They have an assortment of cakes, croissants, cupcakes, cookies and pastries. They sell coffee, specifically from brass tacks. You can order custom cakes here as well.

The chocolate silk pie definitely looked good on display, but the quality was definitely lacking when served. Was kind of shocked to see what I was given, but this is what and how I was served. They definitely shortened the slice and left part of it with the rest of the pie. For $6, you'd expect to be served the whole slice of pie you ordered. The employee definitely needs to be trained on how to properly cut a slice of pie.

I spoke with the owner originally regarding a cake and cookies for my wedding. Donna was very pleasant, and we ended up deciding on a marble two tiered cake and a variant of cookies. The cake and cookies were a hit among the guests. All cookies were eaten quickly and we barely had any cake leftover at the end of the night! Would definitely recommend, thanks to Amaretti for contributing to our wonderful evening!

I finally made it in time before they sold out of bread pudding! Everything I've had here, from pies to tiramisu, is fantastic. One stand out is their coffee... I think the lattes here are the best I've had in JAX, and I've been to a lot of coffee shops. The lattes are consistently good, too, unlike many other coffee shops. I wish I lived closer, but it's probably good for my waistline that I don't.

These ppl are very serious about their business. You can absolutely guarantee both good customer service and high valued bakery. It’s absolutely amazing how perfect the balance between cake sweetening and icing is crafted into AD’s recipe. They definitely serve strong competition for bakeries all across America.
