Worst 6 months of quality and service. 6months ago my partner and I purchased a couch for our first new home. Received the couch and 2 weeks we started to notice some quality issues. Went through warranty and had a new couch sent out a couple of months later. Took two annual leave days to receive the first and second couch. Just to have the same issue happen a week later. Went through warranty again and organised a reselect. Finally it’s time for our new couch to be delivered and we’ve been told we need to allow 2 days to have the first couch picked up and the new couch delivered in two seperate deliveries even though this was never the case with the first two couches. After speaking with the manager Samuel who was really helpful he said he was going to try and organise a deal with the logistic company as this would mean in the total of the 6 months I would have lost 4 days of annual which costs more than the couch itself. He said he would call me back with updates. After 3 days I didn’t hear. Called back the store and was advised that Samuel was able to sort it out for us! Amazing! So tomorrow is the day we have our old couch picked up and new one dropped off. I’ve taken leave to be home all day. And with less than 24hours notice, we receive an email saying pick up will happen but not delivery and I need to select another day to sit at home, wasting my leave entitlements for the 4th time to receive a 3rd couch within 6months due to quality issues. Bonus is, the next available date that I can take time off to receive the new couch is not for another 3 weeks. Looks like we’ll be without a couch and will have to sit and relax on the floor for the next month. Cheers. UPDATE 3 WEEKS LATER: - it’s 8:35pm and I’ve been waiting all day for a couch delivery. Tracking app has said I’ve been next to be delivered to since 3pm. Call driver who is now 1:40mins away from my house to be told they had to add an delivery before mine which would have had them pass straight past my suburb. The current eta is midnight. What a joke.

Never have i had such a bitter experience or felt scammed in my life such as at this shop please beware. I visted this place to buy furniture for my new house after seeing a whitsundays sofa set i liked the sales man pointed out that there was one display set available for sale with a good deal i asked him to make sure that there was no problem with it and he confirmed it was as new and if anything wrong warranty will take care of it. after receiving the product and using it very lightly the products quality declined a lot when ever sitting on it you would sink in to it in a very uncomfortable and eneven way and also the feet of the sofa would always spin around or come off and it would also make popping sounds. after contacting warranty and an inspector coming they claim that even though it sinks in there is no ""manufacturing fault" just as i was about to let it go i was extremely shocked when they said that the feet problem is because of incorrect installation i told them that the product was on display and came already installed i didn't install anything and they denied saying that there was also drill holes around the feet of the sofa that I've done!!! why would i attempt to drill holes to fix it when its still under warranty!!! That's when it all came together obviously they had been struggling with this product and after tries to fix it they sold it cheaper to get rid of it the product which claimed by sales to be their top seller was later on all put on sale and discontinued luckily i keep cctv footage of all my deliveries and it shows that i didn't install them myself breaking there own rule that they shouldn't be delivered assembled so i will be taking this to vcat soon.

Bad experience from the South Morang Amart team. This is specifically about the customer service - If you expect transparency from them, you better look elsewhere. Delivery of an item was promised on a particular day, but didn't end up getting delivered even after multiple calls and constant follow ups. The team even emailed the authorities and had called the delivering agency while I was witnessing the confusion, with delivery on 3rd Mar.. But it was all just a waste of my time. And very conveniently the entire team who was working on this case ended up not working the next day. Moving into a new place with no mattress to sleep on was the last thing I wanted. Wasn't the best situation to be in, with a daunting task of being in a new location, new home and having to deal with unorganised work methods. Communication is amiss between team members and transparency is totally grey. They are good to you as long as they have your money. DO NOT EVER BUY FURNITURE FROM AMART IF YOU EXPECT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is a lesson learnt and would never want to deal with these inefficient staff again. To the Amart officials- Ensure you have staff who understands how to work efficiently as a team, communicates same info across the board, and who sticks to timelines as promised to the customer. Else, just don't give away false promises. And don't bother responding with a "We are sorry you had a bad experience and let us make things better for you over a call"

And now no one is willing to take responsibility for the items after-purchase performance, as the item has failed to fulfill its description and characteristics discussed to us at the time of purchase. It has caused me and my wife health problems and uncomfortable and unsettling sleep at night. We have tried contacting the company and expressed our concerns and need for a reimbursement for the same and regardless of stated guarantees at the time of purchase, our emails and concerns were dismissed on grounds of normal wear and tear.

After several attempts when the product was due for arrival the Store manager declined the request to reimburse for the assembly people which were recommended by them. Frustrated with the whole process with several phone calls with the customer service and store staff, Ended up cancelling the whole order and the store staff was so rude and arrogant to deal with. My first and last visit to Amart Furniture…. I wish they could learn some customer service standards from other relative brands!

Really loved Amart until I visited this store. Tried to sell me a couch that was falling apart as a display model, salesman actually said the quality was terrible, told me there was another option for a little bit more money. Tried to sell me a couch $700 above my budget, told me I could choose the color. The color I chose apparently was an extra cost then the delivery was almost twice as much as other stores. And to top it off as we were leaving the women at the front desk looked my husband up and down and snickered.... wth, was ready to drop over 4k in cash but wont be going back to Amart, took our money to fantastic furniture and got much better value for money and much better customer service

I would not waste your money! Their furniture is poorly constructed and falls apart quickly. The customer service is beyond appalling when trying to escalate issues on quality only to receive a stock standard response of “the issue you have identified is not the result of a manufacturing defect in accordance with our Quality Guarantee” this company do not think that loose nails and screws in a tall boy is a quality issue and are happy to put young children at risk! Update! It seems AMART are scared to receive feedback as they have since deleted my comments and blocked me from commenting on their quality and service both on Instagram and Facebook! If I could give Zero stars I would!

Such a worse experience in my life with the guy working there. The manger ( damien ) he was screaming and insult my wife on the phone. he is person very rude , inpolite and unreliable. he is defends his lair employee ( Imran k ) because he play up with the conversation to not including the dressing in the invoice. We talk with ( imran ) and he said I will try do something for you so he is know the situation and he know we are right but after 1 min on hold he is change the conversation and he said I am not said the dressing including . Really shame ( amart ) to leave unreliable employee like those work in the company. Shame amart Never ever back again

Had tge worst experience this time. Staff need to trained on how to respond to customer queries and they need to have some product knowledge aswell. Different staff mention different details on the price etc When asked why we got different response, response was "i don't work here everyday so don't know much". Store manager seemed to be a little lazy, doesn't even want to move from his chair to respond to customer queries. Could see him yelling at some customers and to one of his staffs. Looking at this, they lost a sale of 10,000$ which I did with another store. Amart South Morang time to listen to your customers.

I purchases Queen Size mattress $249 and the Double size mattress $249 on 28th Nov plus delivery $99 even tho it's only 9min away from my place to delivery it cost that much. And arrived on the 4th Dec afternoon. The person(guy) i spoke on the phone was professional speak so clearly and cheerful person. 10/10 for him.... Delivering my mattress they called first to inform that they on their way. They bring in take pictures as proof they done delivery. I'm happy but the plastic that cover mattress are holes or tears on it.This our second purchases at Amart Funiture South Morang.

Discusting service from their customer service team. No care for the customer and the claim just closed. I had to chase up what was happening as they're lazy to even get back to me. We're now expected to live with a couch that has discolored fabric shade and creases and that we spent lots of money to buy because their technician simply advised there's no fault. The fault is pretty obvious on the fabric as the inspector personally advised me when he came to have a look at it and that we had to wait for a response. Never going to purchase from your store again!!!!

Rubbish place to shop , worst customer service ever received from a salesperson, don’t know if she knows what’s her job description is, I was Looking for the person who served me previously, she got offended, told me she is better then him, and if he is not around , not to shop there, how can you hire an egoistic staff , and manager , who’s name is Luke says don’t talk my staff like that, without knowing what and how his staff behaves with his customer. Poor experience. Will never recommend to anyone.

No one has any knowledge about anything in store anymore. You ask a staff a few questions about the item I’m interested in and all they do is keep referring to their iPad price calculator they carry around all day. “Ohh there’s not much information on here about this and what you’re asking” Apart from that, they have nice pieces in store and enough furniture to fill your house from inside all the way to outside.

Received a lounge set with missing parts. No action to date from the store after I was initially promised replacement parts ‘within a week’. Disappointing customer service to say the least. I’ve been a customer for over 9 years, and have witnessed a steady decline in service. Not sure how retailers can sustain good business performance and retain customers when they (sometimes) don’t get the basics right. Pity.

I was in the store today with my wife and three young children to buy a outdoor setting once we decided on the one we liked and spent twenty minutes at the one we wanted in clear view of sale stuff not one came to assist us. They do not appologize for wrong order deliveries. Once sort it out through their customer service yet they do not know how to update the system. Keep getting messages and calls about deliveries that already completed. This store has no customer service or organising skills. I will be avoiding this store in future and will find another branch.

Horrible place to shop and customer service is horrible too. Did not specify delivery days and had someone pick it up but they were closed. Manager is incompetent too has no idea how to resolve anything. Hire educated staff. Or train your staff on product knowledge and what to do if the employees give out wrong information.

Furniture looks nice I bought a heap of furniture from Imran who gave me a good deal . I went back and bought a Dining set at a later date . I have found with the bar stools and the dining chairs they don't really sit evenly on the ground and Amart really make it hard to return items for a refund . Buyer beware .

Buy furniture from amart only you have control on environment because i bought king bed from amart and with in 8 months it covered with white fungus around bed when I contacted to Customer service they were told it's happen by environment so we can't help you because it's not manufacturing fault.

Terrible customer service Waited for more than 15 minutes and has not been looked after by anyone. The whole store had only 2-3 workers and only one was running around to serve the customers even though she said she will come to us in a second which ended up being minutes.

Great Service, Merrin was so attentive, so helpful and has great customer service skills. Delivery on time. Tracking your delivery is a great service. No need to stay in all day, the tracking msg lets you know right up to 30 mins away. Great store, great staff.

My receipt says 'delivery within 7 days'. It has been 18 days and still no delivery. Amart online are unwilling to cancel the order. I have been told to wait for delivery (no estimated timeframe), then courier the goods back to them AT MY COST.
