Prices good, great, and not the best, but definitely reasonable for the simplicity and ease, as well as the quality of the products and experience. I haven’t been to one of these stores since they opened, and the one I went to across town was much smaller. What I noticed between the two is that the experience is still the same, and for once Amazon has done a great job at creating the same experience across different areas. What I do wish is that I wouldn’t have to have a separate app, or that I could save a dynamic barcode of some sort within my Apple Wallet or Google Pay. Important for a smaller store of this size is that they have the right products, and right amount of what they have, which they do a great job at. I didn’t see any products that were damaged or anything like that, and that’s really important for speed of shopping, space, and overall quality. I hope they continue to maintain this. I have no complaints with a smaller store that had everything I need for the next day or so until I’m able to order less common items, or wait a few days until I have more time to make multiple stops elsewhere.
Look. Say what you will about Amazon and how they conduct their business and how they treat their employees in their warehouses and whatever else but you definitely have to shop here at least once. Amazon has created one of the most seamless and effortless shopping experiences ever. Shopping here is so damn easy I'm surprised every single time when I leave and get my emailed receipt and it tells me I picked up everything on my list in under 5 mins. The technology is so weridly advanced that if you pick something up and put it in your bag but then later decide you don't want it and put it back it doesn't charge you for that item. It just knows (which yes can be scary and weird) but I love the convenience of technology. Another plus side is that you constantly feel like you're stealing cause you just put everything in your bag of backpack and just walk out without talking to anyone or anyone saying "Hey, did you pay for that?"
I was curious to see what Amazon's take on a super supply chain enabled grocery store was, particularly since the one that opened is a little bit closer than my usual grocery store. Despite the fact that I walked out with Beecher's cheese and a cucumber flavored hard seltzer, it felt like walking into a food desert. It's about equivalent to the grocery section of a Target. Despite Amazon being warehouse supply chain gods, whatever they are doing with the savings they are not passing them on to us. Prices were higher than the grocery store, probably closer to convenience store than grocery store. The gimmick of there being no cashiers or cash registers doesn't add any value for me. Why would I shop here if it wasn't cheaper? Next time I need to go weekly grocery shopping, I'm walking past Amazon Go to the supermarket.
convenient for returns. for groceries, I've been here twice. the first time they didn't have anything I was looking for and the second I was massively overcharged for wine (it was taxed as spirits, so $$$$$). took hours for the receipt to be sent to me and over a week of on calls and emailing and chatting and explaining to a dozen people what the issue was. eventually, they just refunded the whole transaction, because there was no one in the store that could remedy it and everyone I interacted with was so far detached from the ground-level in-store reality (conceptually as well as geographically... some people were overseas) that not a single person understood the issue. it's so weird to me that amazon does a B+ job with e-commerce but can't find a single nerd out there to get their physical locations figured out.
Amazon Fresh, a convenience so grand, Delivering food to my door, hand in hand. No more trips to the store, no more crowds, Just a click away, my grocery needs are availed. From produce to meat, snacks to sweets, All my favorite brands, at my feet. No more carrying heavy bags, or searching for parking spots, With Amazon Fresh, my grocery shopping is a breeze. The selection is vast, the prices are fair, I can even schedule delivery, without a care. No more waiting in lines, or dealing with traffic, Just sit back and relax, while Amazon Fresh does the magic. So here's to Amazon Fresh, my new best friend, Making grocery shopping, an easy task to tend. Thank you for saving me time, and making my life easier, You truly are a game changer, and a true lifesaver.
If you ever find yourself needing to park in the garage run and run away fast. It is beyond confusing this parking garage and you can easily find yourself stuck because it’s poorly designed. You have to dial in to get past the gate and coercively you have to also dial out. This works great in concept, but there is NO service in that garage. As soon as you get to the gate it is rendered useless. I attempted to find a pay machine to see if I could get out that way to only find the same silly number that you’d have to call. The only way to get out is to walk up the ramp until you have service. Keep in mind you barely have enough service to activate the gate to get out! Poor poor execution for a parking garage.
If Amazon Go is the future of shopping, then it is very much stuck in the past in many other aspects, like delivery and food waste. Before opening day, the store had an absurd number of trucks doing delivery after 10 pm then starting again at 5:30 am. It is just a little better now, but still, there are SUPER loud trucks, noise carts, and delivery equipment crossing the street regularly. Please, figure out a decent way to deliver products, at least have the truck parked on the same side of the road, or you can build a proper dock. I'm sure the delivery workers and the store staff would appreciate it as well.
First Amazon Fresh experience here yesterday, items were all you would find at your typical Target or Walmart stores (Whole foods even!). Personally, I would not recommend for produce as I found their pricing much higher than your typical grocery store (by the item pricing vs. weight). That being said, there were some exceptions but only on certain packaged items (some were cheaper there than Whole Foods). What makes it worthwhile is that you can literally pack your items in your bags and walk out all items paid and not have to wait, scan or check out anything. Great if you’re in a rush!
This is not for the store but for the parking lot that Amz fresh provides. I have never been in the parking lot that you have to dial to get in/out. No accessibility support for people’s phone have no data, low reception. Literally get stuck in there and asking for help. They told i had to call the number. I have to leave my car at the gate and walk up to get reception and call the number to get out. So frustrated. I can believe it is a service that Amazon want to give it to their customer when they are proud of themselves as customers obsessed. I will never go back to this store again.
Simply down load app and walk in. I have visited the Amazon go store several time and its always clean. The store monitors are always ready to answer you questions. Go store Amazonian's do not have that traditional check out duties, so they mostly deal with store inventory and other tech. Don't be afraid to engage them for help they are eager to assist. Amazon go is a great place to find meal options, every day high usage products like toilet paper etc., coffee products, and alcohol. Just remember to walk out after you are done shopping and have a wonderful rest of your day!
I went to Amazon Go Grocery in Redmond, WA. The prices are great, but unfortunately I am on a Keto diet and my selections, as with other places, are limited. And the selections of items is very limited. The space is similar to a large freeway C-store. The experience is interesting concerning the grab and just walk out. I instantly called the lobby swipe left because that is where you need to pull up the app to walk in and shop. So, not a threat to the traditional grocery store. Probably best in urban environments or heavy office or apartment buildings.
First time in an Amazon store and we weren't quite sure what to do. Fortunately they have some staff in store and they were very helpful in helping us set up our app from Canada to US. I was really curious to see how well the system worked, and we put it through it's paces, with a large group with multiple shopping carts but only a few memberships. I was really impressed, it tracked all of our purchases accurately even though people changed their minds and put stuff back, etc. Once you get the hang of it, it seems like it would be pretty convenient.
This whole just-walk-out thing is no longer news worthy. You may wonder if this place is worth going after the novelty has completely worn out. I can say that I'm surprised by how competitive the pricing is and how it is actually more economical to shop here for certain items than at any other nearby grocery store. And because it's so convenient and the prices are always fair, you end up having more small and quick grocery trips. Actually recommend this place highly and I cannot be happier.
I loved this place for the convenience and because it had remarkably good prices. I actually thought, silly me, that Amazon was "giving back" to the Seattle community by creating affordable groceries. It's obvious now that it was a ruse to get folks into the store. They've now jacked all the prices up to more than the QFC a block away so my love affair with this store had ended. I don't know how I thought Amazon would ever do anything out of the goodness of their heart.
Amazon sent me a promotion coupon and didn’t specify that it could only be used at the Jackson location. After finding parking, getting my daughter out of the car, uploading the app, placing food in our cart, we learned that the promotion did not work at this location. I was soo upset. On top of that, I had to place all of the items back on my own bc of the 1000+ cameras system they use. What a waste of time and frustrating. Not at all family friendly.
I've loved this place since I first walked in, two years ago. Now I live four short city blocks from one. ------- This review will date itself. The door is open, I walk in, I scan my phone and put it back in my bag. I grab an apple ...>into the bag . then I get the milk and walk out the exit. I touched nothing but the milk and the apple. The charge is on my credit card before I get home. Also on the app and amazingly, on my online Amazon account.
Awesome store for grocery pickup. Good collection of fresh produce and dairy products. I love the way the items are arranged in organized sections. However, the overall collection is not very comprehensive, but I still love the place for a weekly grocery pickup. The best part is it's self check pick and checkout without any human intervention. Awesome concept and great use of high powered cameras to create such a wonderful experience.
It's a larger format Amazon Go with an expanded selection. The frozen food section was surprisingly varied, but in terms of fresh fruits and vegetables there wasn't a lot. I was surprised it wasn't too crowded when I visited (about a week after opening) yet some shelves weren't well stocked. The concept is very exciting, but the selection of products wouldn't feasibility allow this to be a true one-stop shop grocery experience
I do most of my grocery shopping here. I think the layout could be slightly better, and they often have large sections that are sold out of food. Overall I can usually still find things I need. The selection of branded foods is pretty small so if you always want a specific brand you may want to shop elsewhere. This is a mix between a grocery store and convenience store, but mostly leans grocery store.
Reasonably priced. Has a lot of things you’ll need. I love walking and walking out. Fruit is surprisingly super cheap, and you can get in and out so fast. Needs more selection. Amazon is obviously data driven, so I’m sure they picked the selection based on customer data. However, if they want to truly be a one-stop shop, they’ll need to add more selection. Please get pedialyte
Wow! Very unique and special experience. It’s like I went to the future and back. How do they know I took an apple? Or the peanut butter cup doughnut?! Amazing! The grocery store has everything you need from fresh produce to meat. There are coffee, alcohol, snacks and all grocery items. Nice washrooms and it also includes 1hr parking, but you do have to validate your card before you leave.
Knocking off a star because this place is missing some essentials. For example they don’t stock sour cream, nor do they stock tonic or soda water. It’s *almost* a real grocery store and you’d think you can do all your shopping here but you cannot. That being said it is still an awesome concept and I do a ton of shopping here. It’s just I can never predict if they’ll have something…
Super convenient for quick shopping trips. I especially appreciate this store during COVID as people don't tend to wander around the store because you need the app to enter. They also don't tend to touch many things since that adds items to your shopping cart. There are no cashiers to touch your items either. Also, they have alcohol! (Including and )
I'd like to thank Cheyenne and Pam at Amazon fresh on 610 Pike street for helping me with my return it was difficult to get a label printed for my items an air-mattress and shower filter due to app but when I went there -they were able to take care of my return for me thank you very much ladies and your customer service was very friendly and helpful.
Love this Amazon Fresh. Not a huge store but it has lots of produce and fruits, as well as some household necessities. I probably saved half of my grocery store trips by quickly stopping by this little store on my way home. This is the first and only no check-out (Amazon) store I visited and the experience is always excellent. Never had a problem.
1. Awful selection. I came looking for two things: Rice and meat. What do I find? Tiny packages of artisanal ground beef, and an unhealthy sounding "America's Favorite Rice". 2. Not enough protein in their prepared foods. The best options I had were a 24g protein poke bowl, and a 30g protein drink boasting a diabetes-inducing 60g of sugar.
Great prices on bananas and a few other things but other items are average or slightly higher priced than trader Joe's or other supermarkets. The bakery items are fresh and delicious I tried the banana and apple muffins. very clean and convenient parking at this location is fantastic they have free parking and/or validated in the garage
I hate to say that I love anything from the big A, but this store is so incredibly convenient. The best part is that you can request items for them to stock! You just do it through the app. Contactless shopping feels so much safer right now, especially with how crowded QFC can be. The staff here is so friendly and helpful too.
Windows are currently boarded up from the unrest over the summer in the area. Still one of my favorite places to shop- there’s no hassle. I walk in, grab some fruit, vegetables, and other groceries (they have good tuna steaks), then just walk back out. Best shopping experience ever, just wish it was the size of a supermarket
I enjoyed the grab and go aspect. Only ding from me is that it took a long time (many minutes) to get QR code. Stuff is priced at each rather than lb so I can't tell you if the prices are good. Some of the high shelves means that a short person can't access items on high shelves. A lot less plastic than Whole Foods.
I love shopping here. Its so convenient and guy friendly. I live alone and don't buy many groceries. I buy what I need and eat what I buy. I can walk in and out in less then 5 minutes and get fresh fruit and vegetables when I need them. No check out ...just walk out and I still keep my budget. Big Time Saver …
It it It is so easy to order very fresh food from your comfy chair and in your Jammie, you save money. The "deals" are most if the time much better than the grocery store. No getting dressed, no gas to use. No muscle to use except open your door to receive your food. It's been a life saver for me!!!!! B M Neason
super convenient on my way home, or need something super quick - esp when I don't want to deal with qfc. For the space, quite a good selection of everything needed to survive. . 5 stars for the store. 3 stars bc there are no bike racks in front. you have that huge section which could fit easily 4/5 bikes racks.
Friendly staff and decent selection. Prices are about the same, if not better, than other grocery stores in the area. Has all your standard grocery items plus some pre-packaged / freshly made items. Make sure your payment info is current and all set in your Amazon app before you try to enter the store.
Small selection of high quality groceries - honestly, this is more of a quick in-n-out place rather than one where we'd be doing weekly grocery shopping, but whatever we buy is pretty high quality. And the no-checkout is amazing, you can be in-n-out in 2 minutes just buying a couple of things you need!
The staff of this grocery store was amazing. He was very helpful with my mom last week. She was 70-years old and most of the time she had a hard time getting some stuff above the shelf. The good staff assisted her the whole time. He even helped my mom chose the best milk and meat for her. Thanks, guys!
Awesome store. The pick up and go system is super convenient. DONT TRUST THE PARKING GARAGE. FOR SOME REASON THEY DECIDED TO MAKE THE GATE OPERATE THROUGH TEXT ONLY IN AN UNDERGROUND FACILITY. IF YOU CANT GET SERVICE THERE'S NO WAY OUT AND THE HELPER ON THE GATE WILL JUST TELL YOU TO CALL THE NUMBER.
This is the Amazon Fresh store nearest me. The brand mailed me a coupon but this store doesn’t accept any coupons. If you know that the store nearest me doesn’t accept your coupon, that should be specified on the mailer. Three stars because at least they are honest when you get there with signage.
Interesting experience leaving a supermarket without going through a physical cashier. Friendly staff at the check out area as I asked several questions how does the check out system work. He pointed to the tracking devices on the ceiling. Would be great if the store can get more assortments.
It was awesome experience !! At first time, I did downloading my amazon go App. Boom!! I got it in and swipe it on turnstile then it open itself as most disability accessible. then go few thing to grab then voila !! LOVES IT!! Just walk out and let my bank taken care of receipt !
I love this store. It packs so much into a modest space. The prices are reasonable and shopping is so simple. Whether during a pandemic or in better times, my shopping habits have changed permanently. Please stay in the First Hill/Capitol Hill neighborhood despite the challenges.
I visited this Amazon Go store for the first time two days ago. It was an interesting/cool experience. It seems great for popping in and out really fast since you don't need to pay a cashier on the way out. The selection is okay for all of the basics, and prices are average.
Was targeted for Amazon Fresh promos on Instagram and when I arrived was told that the promos don’t apply to this location?! Then don’t call it an Amazon Fresh! This is an Amazon Go! You just made we waste a trip and now I’m not buying anything and not coming back here ever.
Nice little clean place for groceries. No checkout lines- just get inside and pick the items you need and just walk away . And you will be charged for the items you picked, in the Amazon app. Great technology. And moreover free parking for 1 hr- cherry on top …
Yeah just came out at 7:54 the employee there was so rude and talked to my wife like she was just some tag along. He told me we needed two scans, he needs one good lesson in manners. Watch out for employees like this; they bring down the quality of your fine store.
Even though I enjoy the concept, it keeps refusing my payment method. Also, last employee that was helping us was super sick, sneezing and snotting while she was helping us. So unhygienic! Amazon, send your employees home when they are sick!
I live very close by so I’ve been going here relatively frequently. I love how convenient it is and the selection is pretty good given it’s a smaller grocery store. My only complaint is they run out of certain items really fast and I can’t
Great place to grab and go, but unfortunately, with the recent supply chain issues, the store is not well stocked as usual the store staff is so awesome and friendly. But at this location they do not have the Palm reader like at the other
I just love I can throw things in my bags and walk out of the store without standing in line. I've never had any issues with charges. I get my receipts on my phone. There's some very good prices there. Also a lot of good deals. I'm a fan
I really like this place! I recommend that you go there because there's no lines and you can buy products easily! Today I really love the experience there because they had mask, gloves and hand sanitizer for clients! They are very nice
A very easy and convenient experience. All you need to do is have the Amazon app, scan your code, grab what you need then leave. The prices here are competitive and some things are far cheaper than QFC, Whole Foods and Safeway.
Love this place! It's spacious, clean, and super fast to do groceries. They offer free bags at the moment. The only complaint is you need to look for parking in nearby neighborhoods. Update: there ARE free underground parking!!
I love walking in and out, super convenient. Ironically, while there is little if any interaction with the staff, they are much more welcoming and friendly than those in other groceries in the neighborhood.
Great prices, but make sure you have the Amazon app installed and ready to go for in-store shopping. Unlike other Amazon Fresh stores, there's no option to shop without the Just Walk Out experience.
Great selection for grocery store basics and amazing prices for Seattle area. It has everything a normal grocery store would, even shopping carts and free 1 hour parking in the garage underneath!
Prices of all the items that I usually get here have almost doubled over the last few weeks in price. I will not be coming back. QFC and Safeway are now cheaper on a lot of stuff.
Great grocery store with a great location. The check in process is smooth and efficient using the Amazon app and with no checkout process, you can get in and out very quickly.
Don't you just love being able to walk in, pick up what you need and walk out! They have a wide variety of things and great fresh produce. It's perfect for small households!
I never come back this location again. I dropped off my return order and later Amazon emailed never received my return. Should check email right away when dropped it off.
Fantastic to not have to check out. Prices overall are fairly good. Good selection for a small grocery store. I wish it was much bigger, otherwise I'd give it 5stars.
Used to be the best place around to buy cheap drinks, now their selection is much more limited and more bad. Still good for snacks. The tech is lots of fun, though.
A great place to get something you want and leave with a smile . Came here for the donuts cuz it’s from Donut Factory and I’m a big fan of them!!! :) …
Super awesome convenient market. Has most things you could want. Also the cleanest restroom in all of Seattle! Sometimes I just go there to see what they have.
It's a grocery store. Well laid out, albeit a bit small, but great selection and good quality stuff. You'll find all the essentials here, and even a bit more.
Fresh, healthy groceries at competitively economical prices, albeit less variety for selection but they have everything I want or need at good prices;
Very unique and fun shopping experience. Scan a QR code from your Amazon Go store App and go shopping with no cashier's or self check, JUST WALK OUT.
Cool concept! Grocery shopping made extremely easy. Enough selection for your daily needs at affordable prices. Love the variety of food ready
This review is for the parking at this Amazon Fresh location. The parking system is absolutely atrocious and a complete nightmare.
Their delivery drivers frequently fully block Boylston while unloading. Store management is fully aware and does not care.
Great experience! A few pleasantly surprising items I didn't expect to see! Definitely worth checking out.
Fairly good prices on certain products, a very clean and easy shopping expirence, a bit surreal even.
Love the Amazon prime. Excellent prices and selections. Get my orders in 1-2 days. returns are easy.
I wish they had oatmeal and coffee and quality products like Amazon Fresh at England. …
Need to use your phone with codes and all sorts to actually buy anything. What a hassle.
Fast, convenient and cheap!! Just wish they had the palm scanning entrance here too
I always shop here, but the prices have gone up significantly in the past 2 months
That you can also do Amazon returns is super convenient.
like all Amazon products this is a great store
