Never again will I ever purchase any furniture from American Home Furniture!!!!!! First sale man lies about arrival date! Then lies about how long the delivery will be. At time of purchase he said with in one week of the arrival date. Not, more like 3-4 weeks from the arrival date would we have our furniture I then was told. Ok it's here so I go a pick the furniture saving 129.00 delivery fees. Get loaded up so excited to sit down on our new furniture. We take it in. Love seat oooo.nice. uncover the couch and wrong color. We look at the tags and say Gray but it's not gray but Brown. We call trying to get this fix. Every one gives us the run around. 4 weeks if they were to pick up the wrong couch and 6 weeks to hopefully get the correct one. No management calls us back as well to help fix the mistakes. Not sorry we are returning both and taking our business elsewhere.

This purchase has been a complete failure top to bottom. I purchased this desk two weeks ago. They did not offer me a delivery service told me I had to pick it up. When I went to pick it up, it wasn’t ready. They advised that I should have it delivered. I called the store last Friday to arrange delivery, they told me Tuesday. Tuesday came no delivery. I called back. They told me Friday… We’ll see if it shows up today. I needed this desk the day I purchased it. That’s why I spent money on it. The people of answer the phone the 10 times I’ve called you’ve been rude, dismissive and unhelpful. I will never shop here again. Edited to add and warn: The desk arrives in about 100 different pieces. It will take us hours to assemble it. I cannot express how dismayed and frustrated I am with this please do not buy from the store.

In all the years that I have had to purchase/replace mattresses ( I'm 77) my most memorable experience has and was with this most experienced, knowledgeable and patient sales person Wanda Meadows. I explained to her what my comfort needs were in choosing a mattress. She choose three mattresses for me to try out. I was told to take my time laying on each one with no pressure, no rush on her part. She patiently explained the benefit of each mattress. After taking my time to test each mattress I made the decision to purchase one of the mattresses and I have been sleeping almost pain free all night. Thank you Ms Wanda Meadows. We purchased a gorgeous sectional sofa from American and couldn't be happier!! We refinished our Media room/Office and wanted a large, comfy sectional to lounge in and entertain. We couldn't figure out how to make this happen so we worked with Elaine Roy on how to best utilize our space. She switched the configuration of our original layout which opened up the entire room and allowed us to have a beautiful sectional that seats a lot of people ( or just the two of us stretched out! ) without crowding the room. It changed the the way the entire downstairs feels! We love it!!! We would have never thought of changing things the way she did. Yay! Thank you!!!

Went for new sofas and rugs. Kellen in the rugs department is amazing. Super helpful and knows everything about the rug offerings. He is wonderful at customer service. Furniture department I’m less impressed with. Spent almost $20k with American Home when i furnished my house. Needed a new sofa and went there to see if they’d price match a set from Ashley that they also sold. I like being loyal where I can. Even though they have a price match policy, they wouldn’t match. So I went to Ashley and bought the same thing for $900 less. Lost a $4300 sale and didn’t seem to care. Probably won’t go back except for maybe rugs.

Sharing a great experience with American Home Furniture and Mattress and their Sales Consultant Kay Kuehl. Because of Kay’s perseverance searching through the store to find my family a new dining table and chairs, today we have a beautiful new set. Kay personally lifted, pushed and pulled different chairs from one end of the floor to a table we liked, and in fact found us a great combination. Thank you Kay and American Home, where we have purchased rooms of furniture in our 18 years in Abq. Never a problem, and great delivery and set up people too.

I had several associates ask me if I needed help during my visit. I refused and looked on my own until I was ready. When I needed help, Lee was helpful in ringing me out. He went over the delivery policies and 4 year warranty policy and rang me out with no issues. When we were done, I almost changed my mind on the sofa I had chosen and he said it would be no problem if I wanted to change. I didn't. Everyone was very professional and helpful. Thank you!

Bought a dresser this week from American home furniture. Very pleased with the quality of the dresser. Picked it up boxed and found it was missing a nob when I got home. Called American Home furniture and was able to pick up a replacement nob the same day. Customer service was great. Stan was our sales person and very helpful and Jessica in customer service helped find a replacement nob for the dresser. Would buy from American Home furniture again.

This is the sixth time we have purchased from American Home....We did have some trouble with the bar stools we purchased but that was not the fault of American Home. They did everything they could to make sure we were happy. It took some time but in the end we love our bar stools and all the furniture we have purchased. We will be looking to purchase again soon.

We stopped in on 8/9, bought our new living room and dining room furniture. I've just called to check on the status of delivery for the last piece of furniture, and it turns out we'll have to wait until AFTER 9/13/23. We were told we would have all pieces within 2 weeks. The service was good. We are just not receiving the furniture.

Everyone was very helpful with answering questions and making it possible to exchange our dining room table for a new one. The man from service was amazing with the table exchange with better instruction to place the table leaf in the new table. Priscilla in sales offered more help. They went far beyond my expectations.

Walked the entire store looking for a couch. Not a single salesman approached us to help. I heard they won't talk to you here if they don't think you have money but decided to find out for myself. It's their loss anyway but it's worth noting the total lack of attention you'll get based on thier judgements.

We bought a very comfortable love seat from American home furniture and were impressed by their service ( setting date of delivery, notifications and delivery itself). We also like that store for the many choices of beautiful furniture and original designs.

Everything was cheap and fell apart in less than a year. I paid to have it assembled and they stretched it, warped the screws and rendered it useless. I spent tens of thousands of dollars and they customer service didn’t seem to care. Very disappointing.
