We approached them for the first time to sell my mother’s house after her move to a nursing home. It was a stressful time for the whole family and we needed a good solicitor to progress the sale as smoothly as possible. Jimmy Wensley in the Bromley office did most of the work and was brilliant. He was highly professional and showed great empathy towards the family. He even phoned me one evening to put my mind at rest over an issue he knew was worrying me and visited my mother in the nursing home to discuss the sale with her. Jimmy was also very responsive, often replying to e-mails within minutes and keeping us updated at every stage. It felt as though we were his only clients! Other staff were involved after exchange of contracts and we were equally impressed with them. The sale was completed quickly and we really could not have asked for more. This outstanding quality of service is not something I have experienced from solicitors in the past and yet the Amphlett Lissimore fees are still competitive. I have since found out that they deal with a whole range of matters including wills, probate, powers of attorney, commercial property, civil litigation and employment, as well as residential conveyancing. I would not hesitate to recommend Amphlett Lissimore to anyone.

Amphlett Lissimore helped me in sale of my property as well as purchasing a new leasehold property. I have used their conveyancing services before, they always pay attention to detail and give responses swiftly to any queries raised. Being in a chain this time, they managed the entire process really well where I felt valued and any slight technical hiccups whether from the vendors solicitors, lender or the managing agent, were dealt with professionalism and care. I can honestly say I am pleased with the service I receiced. Was initially apprehensive about finding a 'good' solicitor to facilitate a house purchase who would be responsive & fast in processing things through. From initial quote Kavitha stood out from the other firms I rang. She was detailed, responsive & patient in explaing the process & was confident that she would get me an exchange before Christmas which was a tall order since I engaged her in November. True to form she processed things efficiently & promptly responded to emails/calls & we achieved exchange as promised. As I used google review to find them, it is only fair I pass on my experience.

Not great at all for conveyancing. Need constant chasing for any kind of update or don't get back at all. Attention to detail not their strong point, spelt my surname wrong twice on documents like land registry application and questions sent out to other solicitor were at times just not written well, with part sentences and confused changes in subject matter. Some points of law were questionable too, which made them quite obstructive at points. Also if you want to 'expedite' the period between exchange and completion to less than two weeks, you will have to pay extra for this. There are better and cheaper solicitors in Bromley.

I would highly recommend Kavitha Rajah at Amphlett Lissimore in Bromley. I recently exdhanged contracts on a sale and purchase and she was the reason that it happen so quickly and efficiently. I was kept well informed and advised throughout the process, which only took 7 weks from offer accepted to exchange even though my sale was a leasehold flat with lots of complications. Kavitha and her team are great at responding via email and on the phone. Avoid, divorce cost over 4x price originally quoted. No cost control measure in place. Pointless phone calls, speaking slowly and deliberately lasting an hour full of umms and errs to fill the time. Writing letters not requested or completely redundant. Letters redrafted for no reason. Repeated emails not requested. Worst of all - appeared to be on my controlling coercive ex-wife's side.
