"Amazingly Delicious Food! And great service"
Flavours are fresh. Food looks beautiful. Service is impeccable (fast, helpful, hard working, very timely, very friendly). The restaurant is very clean and the space filled with natural light. Try the burdock jasmin tea… it’s very neat. I’ve been many times now and keep going back. It never disappoints. More
This is excellent food. Everytime I eat vegetarian I'm hesitant, but this food was great. I had the peanut satay extra spicy. Both was tasty, they use a medium size flat noodle which I love, and the vegetation and tofu definitely added to to the soup. Would definitely recommend and would go again! More
Very nice place with amazing service. Good Vietnamese food with a vegetarian/vegan twist. An Chay specializes in a noodle dishes found throughout Vietnam. Food is fresh, light, and flavourful. I am addicted to their Betel Leaf vermicelli bowl! Highly recommend this place to everyone!
I had the satay noodle soup B7 today for lunch and it was delicious. Very flavorful and I didn't even miss the meat that you usually find in beef satay. The portion is quite generous too. Keep in mind they do charge you for tea. Atmosphere is relaxing. I would definitely return.
Amazingly Delicious Food! And great service. The portions are very nice and the prices very appropriate. Most of the main dishes are soups, but don't let this deter you! They are extremely tasty, full of tons of delicious things and very hardy. Love An Chay ❤️
This restaurant does not disappoint! Even if you are not vegan, you are sure to find something that you will enjoy. The food is very consistent, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant itself is very clean and earthy. I recommend checking it out. More
Fresh food and friendly atmosphere. Great flavours and presentation. Definitely a recommended spot. The shredded tofu salad roll popped with flavour. The spicy pho wasn’t over powering and the vegetables were fresh. Great job to the An Chay team. …
Loved the food. It was perfectly delicious and balanced between cooked saucy foods and fresh salad. Relaxing and calm atmosphere, pleasant quiet music, super clean, good people. When I come to Edmonton next time, I want to visit this place again. More
Finally tried this place, and it was worth the wait! The fresh tofu rolls were amazing with the mint and curry tofu, and the satay noodle soup was the perfect amount of spicy. Lots of vegan options to choose from. The staff were also lovely! More
This was my first time here and the atmosphere is so clean and modern! Also the seats are nice and cozy. The service is really great as well. I got the bun hue and spring rolls. The food is amazing, it feels authentic and I like the idea of
Overall great experience! We had the betel vermicelle bowl, the coconut curry and the papaya salad. Food prices are decent, but more expensive than other viet places. Service was pretty good! There is no free parking space so just be aware
Really good vegetarian pho, even the husband loves it here. Very impressed with the portion size. We ordered the tofu salad roll, satay pho and bun bo hue. Service was a little slow, we went there at 7 on a sat night, our server was really
I've been meaning to go try An Chay for years and finally went this weekend. It was delicious and I'm so glad I went. The coconut curry was very flavorful with heat that builds, and the vegetables were cooked well. I like that there is the
Went on a weekday night and there weren't many people in the restaurant, which is surprising because it was so darn good. I got the special vermicelli bowl and my friend got the coconut curry and both were amazing. The vermicelli bowl was
This food is DELICIOUS! We had the satay soup and coconut curry. The soup is packed with flavour and the tofu is so spongy to soak up all the broth. The coconut curry is perfectly spicy and so fresh with the veggies and soft tofu - I only
I'm not a vegetarian however my significant other has dietary restrictions that make it difficult to eat out. We both decided to try An Chay as a possible option for him to eat out at and the dishes were surprisingly very filling! Service
All around great experience here! I don't eat vegetarian food often but this was top notch.... it didn't feel like I was eating vegetarian! I ordered the Vermicelli special along with some extra spring rolls and a green onion cake. Highly
Great service, comfortable and inviting ambience and decor, and the food is excellent. This is one of our favorite restaurants. Have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Our favorites are the spring rolls,
I simply cannot get enough of this little place. It is so delicious and really close to where I live. The base of all meals are vegetarian, but have easily convertible vegan options. They were kind enough to let me bring my own container
The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere is fantastic with a lot of natural light being let in that adds to the natural freshness from the food. The food itself is vegetarian and tastes fantastic with great presentation as well!
A hidden gem for great Vietnamese vegetarian dishes. We had their Spicy Noodle Soup which had a light lemongrass broth with vegetarian sausage, and their Satay Noodle Soup which had a creamy peanut broth. Both were spicy but not so much
Work close by to this restaurant and I have not been let down once by the taste, flavour, customer service or anything for that matter. Super amazing food! Ans I love meat, but for vegetarian food, this is by far the ultimate best!
I loved this restaurant’s atmosphere. I felt the space is so clean. First, I thought the price was a bit expensive for a bowl of noodle but I changed my mind after I finish my meal. Considering the location, quality of food and
I’ve ate here quite a few times and it’s always super fresh and tasty. Great place for vegans and non vegans even (fake meat tastes great). Staff are always super friendly and takeout orders are always prepared very quick.
Food tastes great, their meat substitutes are so good I didn't know it was vegan my first time. Amazing atmosphere, always playing Lo-Fi. Servers are all nice. The restaurant also isn't very large which is nice. More
The Vermicelli Special is my go to lunch. But with the large portion size, it more like my lunch and dinner. The flavors are wonderful. The best pickled Daikon. And the mint just takes it to the next level.
So delicious, very flavorful, I would like to try all the things on the menu. Vegetarian and vegan options are great! Will definitely come back with friends and family! Great atmosphere and friendly service
Absolutely delicious! My husband and I came here because he remembered the burdock tea from years ago and had a craving. Neither of us are vegetarian and personally, I had low expectations for the food.
AMAZING! Lemongrass tofu was awesome. **I'm adding an edit almost a year later to say this is my very favourite restaurant in YEG. I never feel guilty after eating it. The food is so fresh and so
We tried the spring rolls and green onion cake.. both were decent although a lil bland but decent enough. We also tried the coconut curry with brown rice and spicy tofu brown rice . Both
One of my favorite resteraunts in edmonton. I had the betel leaf wraps which were so fresh and delicious. Loved the fermented pineapple sauce that comes with it. More
The satay soup is to die for. It's amazing. Spicy and great for a cold winter's day. Will be my regular weekly spot. And they have Vegan Vietnamese Coffee.
Healthy and full of flavour Vietnamese on Jasper ave! I wouldn't have even noticed that this was a vegetarian/vegan restaurant if I
We were recommended this restaurant by a friend as a must-go place in Edmonton and wow, did it ever deliver — and then some!
The best spring rolls I’ve ever had. All the food is excellent. Fresh, well-made and delicious. Highly recommended. More
Food was perfect! Would recommend the Fresh Tofu Rolls and the Spicy Noodle Soup. Service was also very friendly. More
Without question - the BEST vegan spring roles 2 discerning vegans and 1 discerning vegetarian has ever had. More
