Was served by a young woman who was quite distracted by two other customers who were waiting, apologising for keeping them waiting. I suggested that I could wait while she served them. She said they had been in earlier so they were technically there first. I Waited ten minutes while she served them. During that time she didn’t interrupt them to tell me sorry to keep me waiting. After we paid for our purchases and we’re waiting for them to be packed up, another lady asked us to “move aside as other people needed to look at something where were were standing. I was surprised at being spoken to like that but we moved. There were no customers looking at anything there and when I looked over, I saw the lady who asked us to move pulling a face to other customers. I hadn’t made a scene or been rude so I don’t know what that was about. I felt very disappointed and not at all like a valued customer. I will not going back to buy two birthday gifts later this month. There are enough other jewellery stores in Miranda.

Even though there seems to be hundreds of nearby jewelry stores, Angus & Coote seems to be fresher and brighter (well lit?). The staff were friendly and helpful, and there seemed to be a good range of items. They seem to cater for a wide range because I saw items from $15 to about $8,000.

Asked for a quote on my watch repair - they serviced it and repaired it (without my permission) instead of giving me the quote - charged me more for this simple job then the watch is worth.
