My experience with Dr. Crenesse and her office has been unpleasant in the last few years. First off, I think she's overworked and her office book too many appointments resulting in an an average 90-mins wait time. What infuriated me most was that I had an accident in January and want transported to the emergency room in an ambulance. I visited Dr. Crenesse office as a walk-in a couple of days after for a follow up. I called ahead of time and was told to come in during open-hours. I checked in and waited. The receptionist called me over after I had waited for almost 2-hours to inform me that Dr. Crenesse will not be able to see me. I sort of pleaded, that I had an accident over that weekend and was in the emergency room and really need to a follow up visit with my doctor. I requested to speak with Dr. Crenesse. The receptionist asked me to hold on, she stepped away from her desk for a quick minute, came back and said, "sorry but Dr. Crenesse will not be able to see you." I was very upset and felt disrespected. More importantly, that she doesn't need my business and she doesn't care about me as a patient. If a doctor you've been seen for 7-years couldn't make an exception to see you at such a critical moment, it's a strong indication that she doesn't care about you. I'm sure this is not an isolated case, but most patients, especially older patients and people of color who are not satisfied with the services they receive from their doctors or who feel disrespected and had to wait for hours at their doctor's offices -- especially in the economically disadvantaged zip-codes in New York City - will not take to this platform to inform the public. And for all the selective 4-5 starts that Dr. Anne Crenesse-Cozien receives there are scores of people who's unsatisfactory and unpleasant experiences are not reflected here. I had wanted to log this report when the incident happened in January, but it's better late than never. Bukola, NYC

It's unfortunate that I have to give Dr. Crenesse such a poor rating because when I DO see her or speak with her she is an excellent doctor. But unfortunately she is an excellent doctor in a horribly run and disrespectful staff run office. And I can never speak to her. I have never had such difficulties speaking directly to my PCP in my life. I have spent the past month trying to reach Dr. Crenesse but to no avail. I get emails back from nurses who make it so I cannot respond. I have called. I have been told she will call me and doesn't. I am told she will respond to my emails, she doesn't. When she does, I had her tell me she'd call me and she didn't. I have been going through a very difficult personal situation and let them know and they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS. It's truly unprofessional at this point. I will be changing doctors unfortunately, because I did like Dr. Crenesse but this blatant lack of concern or response when a patient in distress has reached out numerous times is just unacceptable for any practice.

While I agree with the other recommendations pertaining to Dr.Crenesse being an excellent Doctor. The remaining supportive staff I can't give the same compliment..I have complained on numerous occasions about my referrals not being sent over to the appropriate Doctor's office. I constantly arrive and the referrals are not there which result in my appointment being delayed which prevents the doctor from seeing me in a timely manner...It is both disappointing and unprofessional.. I clearly need to find another primary care provider. Prime example I'm currently in the Doctor's office awaiting the referral to be fax 35 minutes pass my schedule appointment..I'm being overlooked and passed over..

She was my doctor 24+ years ago in California. She is phenomenal. She is caring, warm, and intuitive. She had a profound, positive affect on my life as a very young woman. I'm blessed to have been her patient. I'm grateful for the care she gave me and my son. I wouldn't be the strong woman I am today without her. If you are her patient you are blessed to have her. God has blessed me with having Dr Anne Crenesse as my family physician! For many years I've been her patient. So many people have maintaned loyalty to her practice due to her bedside manner, knowledge and experience and dedication to the health and well-being of her patients. God bless her

Excellent doctor! Friendly, easy to talk to, and treats you like a human being with feelings and intelligence. She is great with kids too! She is such a great doctor you have to make appointments in way in advance.

She has not only been mine, my siblings, and mothers doctors since we were all babies but is now my sons and my nieces/nephew primary doctor as well. Best family doctor in NYC!!

Dr. Crenesse has been my family Dr for 30 years and is my daughters and grandchildrens family Dr. We will keep her in our circle and I highly recommend.
