I am writing to share my experience at Anytime Bankstown gym. As someone who takes fitness seriously and has experience with various gyms, I was quite disappointed by what I witnessed. Initially, I visited the gym before its renovation for a trial session. Unfortunately, I didn't find it appealing, but I remained hopeful that the grand opening would bring about a positive change in the gym's atmosphere. Attending the grand opening, I was uncertain whether I had come to a gym event or a festive gathering resembling a big fat Greek wedding. There were individuals running around, seemingly for free protein supplements, which resembled my dog's breakfast. Additionally, I noticed a group of TikTokers who offered me steroids and gave unsolicited training advice. I believe they should focus on promoting weight loss programs like Jenny Craig instead. If I wanted to train at a gym in a less desirable area, I would choose World Gym Chullora. Throughout my visit, I observed a significant number of individuals, predominantly of Lebanese and Indian descent, who seemed more interested in socializing than exercising. There were girls using the equipment solely for taking photos, and the overall atmosphere felt chaotic. The condition of the toilets was unpleasant, with a restroom that resembled a sewer pipe, and I even noticed needles on the floor. These factors contributed to a negative experience, and it made me question the value for the exorbitant membership fee. It felt as if I needed to sell my kidney and my dog's kidney just to join. Furthermore, I would like to address an individual named Dora, who I assume works at the gym. She was more interested in socializing than fulfilling her duties. Instead of exploring fitness and assisting members, she seemed preoccupied with her personal relationships, giving off an unprofessional vibe. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Anytime Bankstown gym. I hope that my feedback helps improve the gym's overall quality and ensures a more enjoyable experience for future visitors.

Would give 0 star. You pay $23 a week for cardio and weights (they don’t even host group classes) on top of a $100 joining fee and $100 for a key. When I enquired about the exorbitant price after finding out my friends were paying $14 at their club, I had to find out through a worker that the Bankstown owner decided all member fees were bumped up to pay for the renovations (that no one asked for). My fee wasn’t bumped because I have been paying this arbitrary renovation-fee price for the last 10 months. I didn’t sign up to cover the cost of your renovations in my contract, and the best part is all these renovations achieved was TVs that no one used in the first place, everything else is the same including the filthy bathrooms. You’re much better off going to PlusFitness or Crunch where you’ll pay half the price for the exact same facilities. Better yet, if $23 is within budget for you, UFC gym currently charges the same per week and you actually get access to unlimited specialised classes such as Muay Thai and MMA. Don’t waste your time here, this place is daylight robbery.

Three levels. It is very spacious and easy to find what you need. Cardio equipment has variety. Excellent weight machine variety. Everything you can think of and some. Dumbbells that go all the way up to 60kg. Non threatening environment despite what you may have heard about Bankstown. It is an excellent gym. By far one of the best anytimes in sydney. I have been consistently going there for several months, and I still look forward to going because I can change up my routine. If someone is using something else, no stress. There will always be something free to use.

Your fees for a gym in Bankstown are ridiculous, I will happily go elsewhere and encourage everyone to do the same. Learn how to take your customers’ concerns seriously and then you won’t have to scream through the phone and threaten people after the google reviews finally reveal how poorly run your club is.

Current Receptionist/manager just on the phone all the time looks like, there's no greeting or even bother to look at who is entering or leaving? Few years ago female manager and staff were very friendly with a very good customer service. Should hire someone like that.

Please tell me why the gym workers walk around fake touching equipment like move bruh some of us are tryna work for a real body not a fake one go back to ur office Don’t let botched Dora with fringe take your money , smallest gym out embarrassing

I've been to multiple Anytime Fitness gyms around Sydney, and I have to say the Bankstown one is definitely the best in terms of size (3 floors!), and the number of available equipment for use. The place is clean, nicely air-conditioned and spacious.

The manager Rose went above and beyond offering superior service but most of all and is always thoughtful eg Easter treasure hunt comp, offering gym treats for post ️. And super super super WoW love my gym and loving my workout even more!!! …

A gym located on Marion Street Bankstown, not far from the local RSL club to your right literally and up the road and down a walkway. the gym has all your latest needs for exercise and equipment to bring your goals and needs to life. Pop in

I just enrolled for the first time. Staff is awesome and good hospitality. She is willing to explain everything I need to know for fitness. And the price is affordable. Atmosphere is amazing. Gym stuff are great. I have a good vibe there.

This gym is fantastic, the staff are friendly and offer an amazing personal trainer who takes a personal interest in his clients , the gym floor and equipment is always clean and there is enough equipment and machine's to cater for all.

Absolutely love this AF location! Rose is an exceptional manager and really takes care of each and every member with love. The gym is always super clean, has new equipment, large 3 level space and super friendly staff. I recommend.

I recently joined this gym, and I'm loving it! The ambiance is fantastic, the receptionist is incredibly friendly, and they have plenty of machines for a great workout. I also appreciated the informative tour. Highly recommend!

if you see a bad review don’t listen to it because this gym is amazing clean and i know their might be some equipment damaged but they will fix it and it takes time be kind to the girls they are amazing …

The tour experience has been super exciting. The team that showed the three levels in the center were friendly and all the equipments are up to my expectations. I can’t wait to share my training experience.

Of all the awesome Anytime Fitness gyms I've ever been to in both Australia & New Zealand, Bankstown's gym is hands down the best one. There's no fluff at this gym, just x3 levels of pure fitness energy.

Rose was an incredible person very kind and sweet. She explained to me every details for signing up, she was very informative and gave me the time and attention and made me feel welcomed.

Excellent gym, I travel a bit with work and use plenty of different AF clubs but one of the best I've been in, spacious clean and an excellent selection of equipment over 3 levels.

Not recommend. My contract was ended few months ago but they still charged me over price as a out of contract membership. No email sent, no notification, late replying back.

I love it here! The staff are so welcoming and friendly. It’s a great place to workout, an awesome vibe all together. The amenities are always kept clean and smelling fresh.

This is by far the biggest anytime I have ever seen. The selection of equipment is awesome. Plus the staff was very accommodating for this travelling queenslander

Trained here for the first time yesterday and honestly was such a clean gym with lovely staff and has an energising environment will definitely be coming back :)
