The worst Apple Experience to date. I scheduled an appointment about my new IPhone 15 that had been malfunctioning since purchasing back in October. The first Rep Eddie was amazing ran tests immediately found that there was an issue within the device and audio issues that I reported. Told me to leave the phone they would replace the parts for free. He said come back in 2 hours. The nightmare began when I returned to retrieve my phone. The Rep would not give his name, I advised I was there to pick up my phone that was being repaired. He literally didn’t even want to wait to see if the phone worked after resetting everything. Told me to stand somewhere else, the phone kept saying Failed SOS SIM. This rude untrained worker asked me did I pay my phone bill and that was the reason my phone would not activate to transfer a T-Mobile E-Sim. He was extremely dismissive actually told me to go to a T-MOBILE store after T-Mobile referred me there. I refused to leave and that’s when a supervisor assisted who resolved the issue. Overall I would NEVER RETURN to this location. Lack of consistent customer service and the rep would not even allow the phone to fully register telling me to go to a different table. I rate this experience a 2/10. Next time I will go up north it’s a better more friendlier location also the reps are more trained and knowledge based about issues that may occur.

Outstanding Customer Support and Repair Service at Apple Store I recently had an issue with my brand new iPhone 15 where it kept going into SOS mode after setting up the eSIM. Despite the inconvenience of a recurring problem with a flagship device, my experience with the Apple Store's customer service and repair team was nothing short of exceptional. On two separate occasions, the Apple Store team worked diligently to repair my phone. Initially, they replaced the logic board, and when the issue persisted, they promptly addressed it with another necessary repair. There’s so much disorganization at this store. When I arrived they supposedly put me in a queue but they asked me to wait by a table, more than 15 minutes passed and no one approached me to reassure I was still in line to be helped, I tried to ask the guy by the door/stairs (long grayish hair) again what was the issue but he ran away to the room in the back. Once someone finally came to help I was directed to the other desk in the back, where there was more confusion from the personnel as to what I needed (I made it very clear from the beginning I was picking up a phone and buying an additional one). So I had to tell them again why I was here in the first place. Once everything was clear they helped me and finally brought my phone and the other one I was buying. I know I didn’t have an appointment (I missed mine due to work) but you don’t have to put people through this when they don’t have an appointment, be clear with instructions and don’t make them feel abandoned inside your store.

This particular store is beyond disorganized, as there is absolutely zero attention or follow-through given to waiting customers. My partner already prepaid for a new iPhone 15 Pro online, and when we arrived in the store to pick it up, the caveman looking individual with the medium length grey hair who was situated at the bottom of the stairs specifically instructed us to wait in the *front* and that someone would be right out to help us. We very clearly stated that no activation was needed for the phone. Evidently our friend did not have his thinking cap turned on because it took 30 MINUTES to finally get directed by another associate to the *order pickup* table hidden way back at the rear of the store (ie the table we should have been directed to upon immediately entering the store). There must have been at least 25 staff working the sales floor this particular day, and it took over 30 minutes to pick up a phone we already paid for a week ago. Inexcusable.

Taste. As a recent owner of Apple products, the store is new to me. I had heard of them, of course, but never experienced one. The attention to detail and good taste of the store is amazing. It felt very personal even thought I know it is a giant corporation running it. The service was very good even though the place was constantly busy. The location, on Michigan Ave in the Magnificent Mile and right on the Chicago River makes it practically a tourist location itself!! I think my favorite thing was that we were able to get exactly what we needed and felt like celebrities while we shopped!

Not the Apple standards that I am used to. The shorty curly hair guy did not greet me as he is supposed to. When I approached him he was very dismissive and brushed me off quickly. Then I followed up with another question and he started to walk away before I even finished talking with him about my question. He was more focused on talking to his two other peers than helping customers (at least me). Never had this experience in any Apple Store before and I have been to many quite a few times. Apart from that it’s a very beautiful store right on the river.

Beautifully designed store befitting of the world-class architectural backdrop of downtown Chicago. Immaculately clean, not even a spec of dust (seriously, just look at the spaces between the wood slates on the ceiling). Friendly, communicative, and expert staff. I completely shattered my new iPhone and was provided a brand new replacement for $99 with no questions asked. I was prepared to and expected to pay full price. Folks, get the Apple Care. I'm glad a near-trillion dollar company isn't cutting corners on their level of service.

This is probably the most beautiful Apple store that exists. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews here. The location is gorgeous and the staff are professional and friendly. My experience with pick-up orders has always been speedy. They also have a beautiful sitting area, where you can just hang out and look through the completely glass walls, watching the cruises passing on the river with the skyscrapers in the background.

Easy location and helpful staff I went there to buy a new iPhone 14 and also because I had problem for incoming and out-coming calls. The staff manage to change the configuration with my operator in 5 minutes and thus to fix the problem. Design and location of the store are fantastic!!

Great experience! The wide open space near the river and Michigan avenue is welcoming. Staff is awesome and ample amount of kiosks to try the products. They have a large screen for demonstration and education purposes and it is relaxing to soak in the knowledge.

Needed another adapter for my iPhone and tried two other stores. Found one immediately here and quickly found an associate so I could pay. Happy with my experience and love the store ambiance. Bonus a free Mac training being held in this location. 5 STARS

Really cool store. The architecture is cool. It's fun to play with the gadgets. It's a shame that Apple and Android don't get along but it was nice to see USB ports and SD cards at the side of their laptops again.
