With the recent passing of my mother I found some old watches and jewelry. Having no idea if there was any value in the items I found I knew I needed help. I did a internet search and found Arax Jewellery to have a very high ratings. So I gave them a call. I talked to Sevag and explained my situation. He was super attentive and offered to look over the items for free. I had to evaluate if they had any monetary value. He offered a same day meeting and spent a good hour of his time going over things. He even went out of his way to explain how he does some of his evaluations. Now this is where you know you're getting the best service from someone that really cares. In addition to all he did for me, he even offered to clean 2 of the most important items my mom had. This was not the deep cleaning (there is a fee for that process) but still the rings came back looking like new. I offered to pay him since the service was above par. Stopped by Arax Jewellery a few weeks ago. I needed to have a number of watches sized to my wrists and was looking for a jeweller that could complete it for a reasonable cost. After emailing to inquire about these services, I was pleasantly surprised that sizing is done here free of charge for watches! I was treated well from the moment I entered Arax Jewellery. Estimates on sizing for my wrist was done efficiently. It was very busy at the time I visited so the links could not be removed right away (I was advised of this possibility ahead of time so it was not a surprise and I was ok with it). I stopped by the next day all 3 of my adjusted watches now fit me like a glove. I am very pleased with the courtesy, attention to detail, transparency and professionalism of Arax Jewellery. Definitely a great place in Toronto for watch sizing and adjustments. Plus, they carry a very underrated brand of watches (Ball). These watches are not commonly sold in Toronto (or many places in Canada for that matter). Might stop by in the future for a Ball Marvelight Engineer III Chronometer. You should be in good hands here.

I was headed to one of the larger and more commonly known jewellery shops as I normally would do and I'm considering purchasing a gift. However, I was passing by this store and decided to go in to see what they offer. I had suspected that going to the larger and more commonly known stores I was not necessarily getting the best value or unique pieces. There's a good reason why this family-owned store is still in business after 50 years! As I started shopping for an engagement ring, I must have visited 6 different jewellery places (ranging from big name stores to jewelery dealers), and not one of them was able to match what Sevag was offering in terms of quality of diamonds or the price. Sevag is a Certified Gemologist, so you're not dealing with a salesperson; you're dealing with someone who has a lot of knowledge and true passion for his craft. He takes pride in his work and it shows. On top of that, Sevag provides outstanding customer service to everyone who walks in the store. Arax is a classic example of a what a family owned and operated jewelry boutique should strive to be. These gentlemen (brothers) provided me with the type of service that I only remember my mother receiving back in the 80's with her Jeweler. Although we had only met the moment I walked into their boutique, I only needed a couple words. They knew exactly what I needed and my expectations. My piece was a personal slip on bracelet handed to me from my father that was too small to fit. They custom me a hidden clasp allowing the components to flow uninterrupted. To say the least I also ordered another custom diamond pendant that they are putting together for a gift for my wife. Beautiful work and timeless experience! Thanks boys!

I went into the store because I was looking to replace a chain and they happened to be in the plaza I was shopping in. I actually had stopped at a different jeweller but there was no parking, so I landed up at the York Mills plaza. Sevag was very personable, professional, and not only had the perfect chain I was looking for, but offered to custom make the charm to match the chain. The price was exceptionally reasonable, and he had the custom piece made, wrapped, and a hand written note of thanks, within 3 hours. I'm not a big jewellery wearer, but I can honestly say that I will return without hesitation on my next purchase. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my piece! I went into Arax initially back in January to ask about resetting my diamond into a halo setting. Sevag was professional and answered all my questions. I returned to the store a few months later when I was ready to reset the ring. I showed Sevag a photo of what I wanted, they came up with a rendering then an actual model. We discussed the size of the diamonds to be used and cost etc. Once I approved it, the ring was made in a couple of weeks along with an appraisal report. The ring was exactly what I asked for and it is beautiful. After I saw the my ring, I decided to get a custom made anniversary band made as well. That turned out beautifully too. The store is really lovely inside and the service warm and professional.

This year my husband and I celebrate our 10th year together as a couple. As a celebratory gift, we decided to get my engagement ring and wedding band remade from white to yellow gold. I’m a fairly newer watch collector. Every time I’ve gone into stores, I’ve felt pressure or not treated ideally. I walked into Arax Jewellery not looking to purchase anything but simply have a strap swapped out due to my lack of experience and not wanting to make a mistake. Not only was the customer service fast and well done but I was treated very kindly. The simple replacement of my Omega Speedmaster Strap was done for free, when other people quoted me eye gushing prices for such a simple task. This spoke volumes to me. I can't speak highly enough of Eddie and Arax Jewellery. I first went to Arax to have a custom engagement ring made with some very specific ideas in mind and a lot of questions. Eddie was very patient and reassuring throughout the entire process. He reassured me that he was making the ring as though it was for his own daughter and I believe it. My partner and I wanted to get a ring resized from size 10 to 7, we had previously had taken the ring to another place which told us that they would not be able to do what we wanted since the main stone of the ring was garnet which wouldnt be able to take heat well and could lose its shine. We were on the verge of giving up when we took the ring to Arax. Not only were they able to reduce the size of the ring but they were able to get the ring back to us within a week and maintained its original shine. We really couldnt have been happier. They are very quick, really friendly and the pricing was great too.

I came in near closing time with my fiance to get her engagement ring resized and was advised that it should be completed and available for pick up the next day. Amazing experience today with these guys, meet with Sevag when I walked in super genuine guy. I needed a ring upsized and every jeweller I called said it would take 2-4 weeks which I did not have that kind of time to wait…..I got in touch with Sevag showed up at his store at 4:30pm and my ring was sized by 5:30pm and costed me less than what everyone else quoted me for a 2-4 week job. I had the pleasure of meeting Sev at this lovely store and am very delighted with his friendly, professional service. I had stepped in to see if I could get my watch bracelet shortened and it was fixed at no charge. While here, I noticed they have very pretty jewellery here and Sev took his time to show me some of the pieces. Considering the price of gold right now, I thought the prices were very reasonable. Interestingly rude staff to say the least. People that get quickly agitated in customer service probably shouldn't work in customer service. Second store I called was able to quickly and kindly answer my questions. These guys do not deserve any of your business. After reading some of the other low star reviews it looks like they're padding their reviews by offering discounts to people who leave 5 star. Makes sense. Couldn't beleive my ears when I spoke to the CS rep. Very very disappointing.

I was very impressed by my experience with Arax. I had two handfuls of jewelry I thought might have value and within a few minutes they helped me sort out which pieces were valuable and why/why not. I asked to have one piece cleaned and appraised with a write up, which should be done by this coming Friday (4 business days). Given how little I know about this kind of thing and the time crunch I'm under to figure it out, I was really grateful for their knowledgeable and friendly service!

Great location, but Arax Jewelers this family snd business when it comes to repairs and diamonds. It does NOT mix! Not recommended! would exercise Extreme CAUTION! As for buying diamonds and gold, for loved ones, do your research with Repitibal Companies! I lived in this area for 30 years, and this place was at Don'Mills Center way back. As a local family Rosedale resident I do NOT recommend.

I had an excellent experience here, brought in 2 heirloom gold and gemstone rings to be cleaned and they both look sparkling new after!! Very reasonable pricing and friendly knowledgeable service. Wonderful service and really kind gentleman. I went in to remove quite a few links for a watch for my mother. The job was more complicated than normal because it's an expanding link watch, but 15 mins later it was all done. He refused to take any payment even though I repeatedly offered to.
