Chris went above and beyond to make sure that we had our hot water back during this cold winter! He is definitely an expert in what he does. He is very genuine and friendly, reliable and very responsive. We called Arcs n Sparks in the morning and within the next hour, Chris was at our door. Very quick! He didn’t rush and worked with great attention to detail - he extensively checked the cables, switchboards and tank and tried many methods to get our hot water running. He left with all things electricity fixed and working correctly. At no fault of Chris, our hot water did not come on the next day but he took the time out of his weekend to check the meters outside (which Ausgrid failed to do properly) and he fixed this at no extra cost. I can’t thank him enough for all his help and highly recommend Arcs n Sparks! Their quality of service is exceptional and they will definitely be our go-to electricians now.

I do see that this company has good reviews. My recommendation would be that you need to ask for a quote up front. We needed a power point changed but did not ask for a quote. Initially the bill was over $500 which included a $150 call out charge and being charged for 2 people to show up and do what any ordinary electrician would do with one person. I did end up having them fix another power point seeing they were out here, but again a very minor piece of work. We subsequently dispute the bill. Chris advised that they send 2 people out to jobs as they don't know the scope of the work even though we had advised what was required before they came out. The matter was settled. The job was properly done, however it is unfortunate that the company goes out to try and rip people off rather than being an honest business.

Chris and Sione run a highly professional and reasonably priced business. Both attended my property separately for two quotes for different jobs - installations and then an old house electrical upgrade. All quotes arrived quickly in writing and jobs were booked in promptly. The electricians that attended Mark and Riley worked very hard in hot conditions crawling under the house - with good humour. I could not be happier with the sensor light repairs, outdoor plug installation and 2 new plugs as well as a quad installation. The best electricians in the business! We first met Chris when he responded to our emergency call out, very late, on a wet night. He arrived so quickly and diffused a situation that possibly prevented our house burning down. I called for a quote to install a new TV aerial and set up of foxtel box. Sione came to quote and then went above and beyond in sorting out my TV issues and set up. Arcs N Sparks is simply the best electrical business on the north shore. They have done multiple jobs at our house, including last week upgrading us to 3-phase, which was completed by Sione and his team of 7 skilled electricians in a single day! They took care of isolating our solar and re-wiring our Tesla Powerwall batteries, making sure the essential house loads are on the battery phase. Sione and the boys were top notch. My family called Thursday Morning around 11 mentioning our power issues due to a large fallen branch. We urgently needed some exterior work on our pool lights looked at in a tight timeframe which also involved liaising with a pool resurfacing company that had already commenced work. Chris was amazing! I initially hired him to change a lightbulb, only to find that we had bought the house with faulty wiring (no earthing wire in any of the outlets or lights). Our hot water went out and I had to replace the entire unit in a Friday/Saturday. Chris came out on the Friday evening to look at the electrical work for the job after a full day, then turned up first thing Saturday to do the work.
