Roberto (architect) and Rodolfo (maestro d’arte) co-founders of the Art Gallery Studio Iguarnieri and Iguarnieri sign, were born in Florence respectively in 1956 and 1963. Guarnieri’s family workshop was established in 1944 in the Lungarno Benvenuto Cellini 39, San Niccolò neighbourhood were now it turned into their unique florentine contemporary Bottega. The multiple hands work is inspired by the ideal of the florentine workshop of the Renaissance. Contemporary fresco paintings surfaces, traditional techniques with modern materials, Florentine design approaches in a quick time execution work. Currently, many Iguarnieri paintings are in private and public collections in Europe, USA, Australia, Asia. In 2005 we started making “on site” fresco paintings in Florence, Italy, United States, Luxemburg, Moscow, Dubai, for individual customers as well as public and private Companies. “Iguarnieri, creates contemporary art in Florence, working as the Old Masters used to, which means: “at the traditional studio”. My brother and I along other artist and collaborators we create artworks with antique techniques and modern approach, for the art lovers as well as ourselves. I stumbled upon this marvelous studio while walking in Florence with my wife and daughter. I just wanted to take a peak but Roberto’s magnetic and warm personality lured me in so my wife had to go to the park by herself. I wasn’t expecting to find a real artist inside. Because most art studio don’t have one. But by the first words, I could see that Roberto speak his own words, had his own wisdom and talked from his heart in ways that I haven’t heard before but made perfect sense. He was thinking, acting and creating outside of rules, concepts, schools, teachers, currents. I felt an immense respect and appreciation for him. You could see that his art was diverse, bold, unrestricted, following his personal curiosity and certain patterns that proved to be a winning formula. It takes guts, freedom and immense self trust to be able to do that. For me that’s what a true artist does. It reminded me of Picasso. He served me and a couple who was there with a glass of wine just for the sake of connection, conversation and pure enjoyment of the present moment and life. And I also got another valuable lesson when he challenged me to draw two circles, one with my dominant right hand and watching very carefully and the other one with my left hand with my eyes closed. To my surprise, the circle I did with my left hand was 95% accurate compared to the other one. It was a powerful reminder about how important is to trust and give ourselves permission to act “imperfectly” with courage and faith. I recommend Iguarnieri, Roberto and their works to anybody who loves art and pure self expression. Hope to see the gallery again one day and buy some art .

We wish we could give Roberto and the team MORE than 5 STARS. We arrived to the gallery late on Saturday night, and found that the gallery was closed. As other reviewer suggested, we called the phone number on the door and Roberto answered and promised to be there in 5 minutes to open the gallery just for us on a Saturday night! After walking into the gallery, we could immediately notice the incredible pieces of art, but even more so, the warming, modest, welcoming personality of Roberto. He greeted us to the gallery and let us explore as you would want to explore in a art gallery. No rush, no pressure to buy, what we felt was his thankfulness for appreciating his work. After sometime at the galley, my wife and I fell in love with 2 of the paintings. We decided to purchase 1 large piece, but felt we can’t miss the opportunity to own 2 paintings of the artists. Roberto made a fair offer for us to buy the 2nd painting, and as other suggested in the reviews, we purchased 2 paintings to take back to our home in NYC. We left our shipping information, a credit card number for billing the shipping costs, and left thinking how great it is to own paintings of Roberto and the team, but even more so, how lucky we were to meet Roberto. About 4 weeks later, we received the painting in NYC. The painting were packed professionally, clean, and they even put hanging rings for us. We could not imagine a better memory from our visit in Florence. Thank you!

Had the pleasure of stumbling upon this studio walking down the south side of the river heading west towards Pointe Alle Grazie on my way to Pointe Vecchio. The styles you'll find here are vast, using mediums like metal sheets to paint on with grinded out spots for really interesting texture. Some of my other favorites used plaster that is either shaped and painted to be golden flowers or layered onto a painting and carved into. So many captivating pieces of art. Several I could see hanging in my future home. Stop by if you can, the artists were so welcoming and a delight to talk with.

I had the best time while they share their expertice and the simplicity of their Art. Firenze, Lungarno Cellini, civico 39: la presenza di una bottega artigiana trasformata in un laboratorio artistico in cui si producono opere d'arte di alto valore. Ogni disegno, ogni quadro, ogni scultura sprigiona l'essenza dei propri creatori: "iguarnieri". Una essenza materica dell'arte che nasce da una forte identità culturale plasmata secondo la sensibilità contemporanea degli artisti, così come è presente in loro, rielaborata dalla maturità espressiva e dalla tecnica che hanno raggiunto. La disponibilità, la forza e la passione di Rodolfo e Roberto completano l'opera perfetta che essi stessi hanno creato nel civico 39.

Passeggiavo sul lungo Arno Cellini ed essendo amante dell'arte ho chiesto se potevo entrare...un sorriso e un'accoglienza come pochi hanno riscaldato il mio animo. Arte contemporanea sposata a tecniche antiche, colori e tanta passione nelle parole di Roberto...ho respirato grande creatività, passione e tanta bellezza. Grazie per il tempo dedicatomi e per l'omaggio...sicuramente una grande lezione di bellezza quotidiana che porto nel ❤️ e che ravvivera' il grigiore della grande metropoli lombarda.

Esperienza meravigliosa... con la loro professionalità e gentilezza questi 2 artisti hanno insegnato ad un gruppo di amici come creare l'arte sempre seguendo le tre regole fondamentali..Gioia.. Giudizio... Grazia... ed anche chi non ha mai preso in mano matita penna e pennello ha scoperto di poter creare qualcosa di unico circondato dalla bellezza delle loro creazioni..... Consiglio a tutti una visita a questa bellissima bottega della mia Firenze perché conoscere i fratelli Guarnieri è veramente un privilegio...

oggi, 14 luglio 2022, ho visitato il negozio con un'amica. Era chiuso ma uno dei proprietari, gentilissimo, ci ha fatte entrare. Tutti i quadri e i graffiti sono fatti a mano e sono davvero belli e molto originali. inoltre ho avuto la fortuna di poter ascoltare alcuni dei progetti compiuti dal proprietario, tra cui numerosi viaggi, e mi è stato regalato un dipinto con l'autografo! Consiglio a tutti di passare; tutti sono davvero gentili e accoglienti, tornerò sicuramente.

Fantastici! Abbiamo passato una giornata di "Family Building" in cui i due artisti Roberto e Rodolfo accompagnati dalla gentilissima Sabrina ci hanno fatto dipingere e scoprire i trucchi del mestiere, il tutto accompagnato anche da un buonissimo pranzo sul terrazzo dello studio. Uno stile impeccabile per un vero e proprio atelier di artisti fiorentini! Giornata davvero speciale. Tappa da non perdere per chi ama l'arte e ha voglia di comprare dei pezzi davvero unici!

Entrati all'interno del negozio non si può che rimanere affascinati dalla passione che i F.lli Guarnieri hanno per il proprio lavoro e per la propria città. La stessa passione che, vi possono garantire, riescono a trasmettere ad ogni singola opera ed ad ogni singola persona che entra nel loro studio. Che tu sia fiorentino o turista, un salto da I Guarnieri merita, e come se merita.

I had a day in Florence and my friend told me to go here. I was not dissapointed. They were really nice to me and gave me coffe, showed me around, and we had a nice conversation. Really pleasant people! I wanted to buy a picture so Robert and I took a look at a few paintings. Highly recommended to go there! One of the highlights in Florence :)

A very authentic art workshop in Florence. Un posto speciale, già dal sito potrete ammirare e dare un'occhiata al catalogo aggiornato e preciso, ma la visita è un' esperienza unica.e Roberto un sorriso lo strappa sempre. Insomma se volete incontrare dei veri artisti fiorentini e ammirare/comprare il loro lavoro non potete non andare.

Arte contemporanea in una città come Firenze è difficile notarla, ma quando sono passato davanti alla bottega iguarnieri la loro arte contemporanea mi ha subito catturato. Gli artisti di bottega con disponibilita illustrano i loro capolavori, e non ho resistito alla tentazione di prenderne una per la mia collezione.

sono stato tante volte a visitare la bottega e mi ha sempre affascinato il connubio fra l'ambiente artigianale e l'impatto dei quadri. Ho diversi quadri di loro in casa mia e tutte le volte che ritorno a visitare i guarnieri mi colpisce la varietà delle loro proposte .consiglio vivamente!

Friendly and inviting, always engaging in conversation with people interesting in looking around. They have wonderful works of art on display inside and outside of the studio. The style is very unique and if you are visiting Florence this must be on your list of places to see.

Un taller/atelier que no llama mucho la atención desde la calle, pero que deslumbra con los trabajos de los hermanos Rodolfo y Romano Guarnieri. Nos atendieron con suma cordialidad y nos mostraron sus hermosas obras. Vale la pena detenerse unos minutos a admirar lo que hacen.

Persona estremamente gentile, ci ha illustrato ogni tipo di opera presente, e per di più abbiamo ricevuto come omaggio una piccola lastra di alluminio pitturata con dei papaveri, fantastica. Posto assolutamente da visitare quando si va a Firenze.

Consigliatissima una visita in questa bottega di artisti che vi mostreranno i loro lavori e ve li racconteranno con passione e gentilezza! Ci siamo innamorati di una loro opera e ora la sfoggiamo in casa, un ricordo unico della splendida Firenze.
