They are the absolute worst!!! Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. They are rude, unhelpful and follow the script that may as well be designed to con customers. This is how it all started. We ordered a dining table set and a couch with ottoman from Ashley. First the chairs for the dining table delivered were wrong. We had to go to the store and ask them to change it, which they did. However there was one more problem. The ottoman we ordered was completely wrinkled. We complained on the first day when we complained about the chairs but they refused to change that. Instead they sent a technician 2-3 weeks later at our place to fix it. Right in front of me, the technician filled the ottoman with some kind of filling to puff up the cloth and remove the wrinkle. Horrible decision. He made it worse. Now the ottoman made some sound and has an arch which is much higher than the couch. Not only can I put my feet on it but not a single thing since it would just slide down. However the technician wrote in his report that it is not manufacture quality. So we called again. After an hour of trying to explain our problem they decided to send in a new technician. The new tech guy comes after 2-3 more weeks, looks at it and says what the FIRST TECH GUY did was WRONG. So he did his thing which made it even worse. Now it not only had the arch but it was hard. If you put your feet on it, it hurts. The arch was bigger. Guess what, he wrote in his report it is manufacturer quality. LOL!! So we called again. After 2-3 hours of constant back and forth this time, the MASTER TECHNICIAN saw it and said yes, it is faulty and it needs to be brought into the warehouse to be fixed. Contradicting the previous tech guys, obviously. So we sent it. A new part has to be ordered. Two weeks after we sent it, we received a package with a new top cloth in it. They by mistake sent it to us instead of the warehouse. Exactly what we said in the beginning. The stitch of the cloth is wrong, NOTHING ELSE. However after a month they send the ottoman back. Guess what, it is the worst it has been. This time they have filled it in with a lot of paddings, making it rock solid. You cannot put your feet on it. You cannot put anything else on it due to the slant. At this point we just wanted it to go back to the way it was in the beginning because at least the functionality was okay. Now it is higher than the couch, making my back hurt, the material inside is hard, the arch is bigger. Everything is bad. To your surprise, after three months of this we called again. Guess what , it is apparently manufacture standard and they cannot do anything. So they tell me if the height is among 1 inch of discrepancy from the height mentioned on the website it has to do. So I measured and showed them, website says 19 inch, the edge height of mine is a little more than 21 inch with the paddings added above the seam. The arch in the middle is a little more than 23 inch. Like I said I knew it was wrong. But even after that they refuse to help. It has been 3 months we are at it. They cannot say we will get back to you and keep getting back to us a week later. They are not only taking into account our concerns, they disregard us completely since their sale is done. We ordered $5000 worth of furniture that day and they would do this for $500 ottoman. The customer service agents a rude and follow a script, including their supervisor. They said they would let us know after I had a 1.5 hour long phone call with them yesterday. More than 24 hours, no word from them. IT IS A CON JOB. Our last choice would be to throw away this ottoman since it is now just a waste of space in our house. If anyone is looking to buy from Ashley, PLEASE DON'T!!! Leons and Structube will give you a much better service and will not give you such faulty products. I am absolutely disappointed and have no more energy to fight them after doing this for 3 months. They have all the money to con us out of ours.

I ordered a couch from Ashley’s , provided the floor plan of my home to ensure that the couch would fit my space. Originally the delivery team was sceptical about the item fitting due to the height of the stairway to the living room. We told them we would re-select but they were very push and insisted they had to try and bring the couch because of their team lead which told them the had to do it. The delivery team then bull dozed threw my house to try to get the couch in causing extensive damage throughout my BRAND NEW HOME. After causing MULTIPLE DAMAGES they then stated the couch would not fit and we would have to re-select. Upon contacting guest care, right off the back I was approached disrespectful. The guest care agent Donna stated that there is nothing that can be done and if I had read my terms and conditions correctly I would see that returning and item that is already in your home warrants 10% less then the price you paid and receiving a refund for them item you would receive 25% less than the price you paid. When I requested to speak to a supervisor , she proceeded to tell me “NO IM NOT GOING TO TRANSFER YOU TO ANYONE ELSE BECAUSE I AM CAPABLE OF DOING THE SAME THING” and to “HANG UP THE PHONE AND CALL BACK IF YOU WANT TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ELSE” because they are going to tell me the same thing and it is unnecessary to transfer me to someone else. Finally I was able to talk to a supervisor. Although she understood the issues that I was having she offered no help and just kept referring to the terms and conditions and saying she can offer feed back to other sales reps as a learning experience and at the end of the day I had the final say in the purchase that I made. I decided to call back since I was unsatisfied and speak to someone different. I spoke to a guest care agent Andrea. When she originally came on the phone she was very nice and willing to try to help rectify the situation and find a solution. She told me she would consult with another person and come back with a solution. Upon coming back on the phone her energy and attitude changed. She was very rude and began to repeat the same script as the other sales reps prior. She even went as far to say “THE COUCH YOU ORDERED WAS NEVER GONNA FIT ANYWAYS” in a mocking tone and brushed off the situation like it was nothing, and basically blaming me as a customer for what happened to my home and that nothing could be done. I WOULD DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM SHOPPING HERE. Because you can spend thousands of dollars and will be disrespected, gaslighted and offered HORRENDOUS custom service if a damage or issue arises.

Terrible experience with shopping here and dealing with the sales rep, manager and delivery services. When I first arrived I saw a sofa that was to my liking and negotiated a slightly lower price with the sales person, the sofa was about 750$. When I received the bill it was over 1000$! She tried to tack on their product protection plan without notifying me. I said I didn't want it and so the final price ended up being about 900$ with delivery and taxes. I didn't purchase it that day but went to my condo to book the elevator for the delivery first. I booked the elevator for a 1-3pm window on a very specific day. When discussing with the sales person and manager back at the store they assured me that the delivery would be within the window I instructed (as there is a $500 deposit for booking the elevator, I could afford to book the entire day/more than one slot). They then attempted to back pedal on the price that was given to me, stating that discount would only be given in I purchased the product protection plan! Well that wasn't described to us on our first visit and I made it known to the salesperson that we even calculated the price together with only the product + delivery and she had no issues with giving me the negotiated price then. She went back to the manager and relented. On the day before delivery I was sent my delivery window which was NO WHERE near the booking time for the elevator. They had booked me for a window between 9am-12pm! I called the customer service and they stated they would get in touch with the delivery service and call me back. Well the email confirmation gave me until end of business day to confirm my delivery slot. By 4pm I still had not gotten a call back, I didn't receive a call back until 6pm! The team member basically told me there was nothing we could do and HUNG UP on me when I tried to ask questions. I had to go to my property management office and basically beg them to allow me use the elevator during that time (that time slot is not one of the time slots our elevator is available for booking as the loading dock is shared). I was lucky that the front desk and property management were kind enough to accommodate me and I was lucky that there were no deliveries for the building slotted during that time, but I also had to cancel an important meeting at the time slot. The tracking system used by the delivery company was also inaccurate. It stated that they would not arrive until ~10:30am, but I received a call at 10am stating they were at my building! Complete liars who never live up to their agreements or customer requests. Only buy here if you want to be subject to headache after headache.

I bought a sectional a little over a week ago. The sale process through the online chat went well and the rep I spoke with was professional, quick and friendly. I was told I would get my sectional just a few days later on December 19th and was very excited. The day before the couch was supposed to arrive I was told they had to cancel my delivery due to weather conditions / road limitations. This was confusing since there was no snow in the forecast. I called them to confirm why the delivery was cancelled and to reschedule the delivery. I was told delivery could be scheduled for the 23rd which put a wrench in my holiday plans and ended up costing me less time with my family and more money for travel accommodations. I asked them to confirm why the original delivery date of the 19th was cancelled since there was no snow or bad weather that day and to this day I never received a response. I was credited the delivery fee charge. I always had the intention to buy the matching ottoman but wasn’t sure if I could fit the oversized ottoman or regular size one. I mentioned this to the sale rep when I bought the sectional and was told my warranty could extend to the ottoman once I purchased it. My fiancé went to the store today (boxing day) and was told the warranty could not be extended. I have called multiple times and keep getting passed around to different people and keep being referred back to the person that originally sold me the sectional but they keep pushing onto a new sales rep. Finally today I had a chance to speak with someone who said they would escalate to their manager and call me back as I am looking to have the ottoman extended in my original warranty as promised but again, no one ever got back to me. I will say that I truly do love the sectional I purchased and was hoping to furnish other rooms in the house through Ashley however I would not recommend shopping here cause once they’ve got the sale, they don’t seem to care much after that. It’s a shame. Update: someone got back to me just now. While it was not the exact solution I was looking for, it was a fair solution and they worked with me to get the ottoman within my purchased warranty in a reasonable way which included me paying an extra $31 to upgrade my warranty plan.

It is my worst experience to deal with a furniture store. I purchased a sofa bed in Feb, after four months waiting, finally received a call for delivery. BUT the delivery team said they can’t move the sofa bed in my house because the door is too small and the sofa bed had been assembled. I thought the sofa bed would come in parts so I purchased white gloves service for technicians to assemble it for me, and the sales lady never asked me about the size of the door, never mentioned sofa would come in one piece. Anyway, I thought I also need take some responsibility for the problem, so I agreed to change to Caladeron sofa which can go through my door. I really regret my decision, which started my endless calls with Guest care. The sofa delivered in earlier July without the legs. The delivery team said they would report to the warehouse, but they didn’t. I called the guest care 4 times in the first week of July to asked about it, was told they need check with warehouse/ parts department, or no reply from warehouse/parts asked me to call back etc. I made another two calls on July 11 and 12, finally a lady told me they have ordered the legs from the manufacturer will ship directly to my home, and I should get it at end of July. However, there was no legs and no update till August 2rd, so I called again, and I was told THERE IS NO LEGS ORDER IN THEIR SYSTEM, and I should receive a confirmation number if they ordered. The guest care lady helped to place the parts order during the call and told me I should receive the legs in 2-4 weeks. I haven’t received any update so I call again today, and the lady told me ETA is September 14th , another 4 weeks and no guarantee. I complained, she told me I can still use my sofa, it is still functional , and this is the way they look at it. I still have no idea when can I get my sofa legs. BAD SERVICE! Don’t believe if any guest care said will give you a call back! BE SMART, don’t waste your time with this brand!

We ordered an ottoman from this store which was clearly defective. It was completely wrinkled and looked nothing like we ordered. We reported it right away the same day, and were directed to Ashley guest care which is a joke. Filed a claim there and instead of replacing it they sent a technician to "fix" the ottoman. Technician came in, took the ottoman apart, filled it with cheap filling and made it much worse. The ottoman was now overstuffed, higher than the couch, made noise and still had wrinkles. Technician still claimed it was "Manufacture quality". Had to file a claim again, and again instead of replacing, they sent another technician. Technician this time was better, but ottoman now is wrinkle free but not flat, higher than the couch and hard, nothing like what's in store. A customer care representative called "Christopher" called us, and we explained the situation, and he said he can't do anything cause the technician claimed it was manufacturer standard. We tried to explain how that's what the first technician said, and he started being extremely rude to us. We can't even return it cause it was in our place for over 48 hours. Well, we complained multiple times immediately, and the only reason it is with us this long is cause they keep sending technicians instead of taking it back. "Christopher" wouldn't even give us his full name after being extremely rude to us, clearly because we try to find a way to officially complain about him. Ashley customer service is a joke, they will sell defective products to you, scam you by doing hack jobs on it and claim it is "manufacturer's standard", and then be extremely rude if you disagree. If it's like new why don't you feel comfortable taking it back and reselling it? I literally bough over $5000 worth of furniture that day and this is how they treat me. I have been buying all my furniture from here but never again.

Lied to, scammed, horrible customer service, terrible quality. I purchased a couple of recliners, was told by the representative it was genuine leather. Upon delivery, their untrained delivery men scratched the recliners and when we asked to return or simply get a discount they said we would have to pay restocking and shipping fees. I also purchased a 4 year warranty, the Rep said that if it was unused they would return the money. Turns out it wasn't genuine leather, it hasn't been four years and they are falling apart everywhere, colour coming out, stitching falling out, motor not working, deflated, "leather" peeling off like stickers. There furniture touch up kit is completely useless. The representative feeds you lies just so you can purchase it for their own benefit. When you call for customer service, they hang up on you, transfer you back and forth, putting you on hold for hours at a time. The incompetent service repair technician came for to our home for inspection and told us that the issues would be covered by warranty. We then get told that the service representative said that in the report that everything is literally fine WITH THE PICTURES PROOVING THE OPPOSITE, even the though seam repair is 100% covered, they lie some more and say that they can't do anything about it and that it's our fault for contacting them too late even though there is more than enough time left in the warranty. STAY AWAY FROM ASHELY HOME FURNITURE THEY LIE AND DONT DESERVE CUSTOMERS. Save yourself the frustration, the time, the money and purchase furniture elsewhere. They don't deserve a single star.

Ordered a sofa on the 20th of September at the Scarborough location. Sales staff were nice and friendly. We had the sofa set for delivery on the 27th of September. On the 22nd, we called to cancel the order as we decided to go with a different sofa. Person on the line advise that order has been cancelled. Advised me that I should receive the refund after a week. On the 2nd of October, no refund has been processed. I called Ashley store and their auto response stated that I had no orders under my phone number. I tried to press 0 to speak to a live person and they advised me that the order has been cancelled and they have no more info. I figured it will just take a few more days for the refund to show up so I gave it a few more days. October 10th, I called again and the auto response recognized my phone number. I pressed 0 to speak to a customer service rep and I was advised that they’re waiting to deliver my sofa. I advised them that it’s been cancelled for more than a couple of weeks now and I’m just waiting to get my refund and I was advised that there is no record of it. I was told I only advised them to “cancel the delivery”. Long story short, they will refund but they also want to charge me a bogus 10% admin fee when the order has been cancelled within 2 days, item has never been delivered and have also failed to process the return when I called and are claiming they have no record of it except for a phone call to cancel the delivery. This will be my first AND last time dealing with Ashley furniture. I suggest you do the same to avoid dealing with a shady company.

1) the salesperson told us the chairs come in one piece and will not require any assembly. He re-ensured us about this for over 3 times! He even stand on the chair to show us that it is one piece and very sturdy! The chairs arrived in parts and required a lot of assembly! 2) the salesperson told us if there are any defects, they will exchange or refund. He never mentioned Ashley has the option to repair it but not exchange! 3) called the store yesterday and they asked the salesperson to call me back. He called me but just to argue that he would never lie and didn’t comment on the repair issue at all. He was trying to brush us off . He said he needs to check something real quick and get back to me. I waited the whole day yesterday and today. He never get back to me. 4) we are left with 2 defect chairs and chipped table top, and the Ashley guest care just advised us that they will not do anything about it! They think there is no defects! They also advised that we will have to pay 10%for exchange and 25% for returning the defect products. We would only be able to do that by 9pm today! We were waiting for their responses for the past two days and they just used up our return and exchange windows. I will update once we receive any updates (if there are any…) Update: guest service told me their manager will call back and the store manager will call us within 24-48hrs. Many days passed, heard nothing from them. No one called at all.

Sharing my recent experience: Please do not believe to everything the sales agents tell you. They will promise a lot of things but at the end when you need help they will just redirect you to the Guest Care. Additionally, they will promise to call you but won't call back (unless you intend to make a purchase) and you will have to head back to the store. They also charged me a 100 dollar delivery fees but they left the sofa at my front door. Finally the store raised a case to help resolve this. Still waiting for the payment though. Quality: I ordered a sofa and a dining table from Ashley and both pieces were broken when they came. They took 10 days to fix it and when we requested help to get an earlier appointment they almost made it sound like they did us a favour by fixing it. Price match: Their policy states 30 days and have no exceptions. The price of the product I bought was dropped by 50% in 40 days and the DAMAGED product was delivered the same day. They said they will not do anything about the price because atleast they delivered it. Please don't believe just my review and see the other comments below as well. Wish I had read this as well. If you insist on Ashley just use the online order system since everything needs to be done on the phone Note: The only saving grace is Sam (store manager) who is courteous.

I have never seen such terrible customer service when there is an issue with a product. As one customer mentioned in a previous review, Ashley’s customer service department is a joke. I bought a TV cabinet to be delivered and paid extra for assembly service. The sales person at the Scarborough Ashley said the cabinet will be delivered and assembled at our place. But the cabinet came half assembled and the delivery persons said for us to complete the assembly. I wanted to make sure all the items were there as the cabinet packaging had been removed. The delivery guy told that all items are in the wrapped paper and left. But the crucial fasteners were missing. Trying to reach the customer service to complain is a major pain and no help. Finally we’re got Ashley service department to order the missing parts. It’s been 3 weeks since parts were ordered and no status from Ashley. I called service and they told me they cannot track. They cannot tell me if the parts were shipped out or in transit. They have no way of tracking. In today’s technology and ability to track deliveries in real time by even small companies, it’s unbelievable that a company like Ashley is incompetent and unhelpful. They also will not consider refund for not completing the assembly. Never going to shop for furniture with this company.

Poor Experience from start to finish, manager of this store said we cannot purchase from the store because we had a quote online seems a bit strange especially after driving an hour in traffic? The sales rep said the sofa we had picked out she had in her Condo, ordered and it arrived it would not fit in our condo hallway customer care said that model of sofa would never fit in a condo. Pretty odd then if it fits in your sales reps condo selling you the sofa, most staff seem very inexperienced. We were given wrong information numerous times in regards to financing apparently it doesn’t have a hard credit check was about to do it then asked again oh wait it does, could have been very dangerous with my mortgage approval. Finally have to order a more expensive sofa it shows up damaged (of course) called straight away and have evidence of it being damaged on delivery was told I’d be contacted within 2 business days. It’s been 2 business weeks nothing… calling and calling with no response. if I was to purchase again I would not choose this company everything is Micky mouse and we aren’t talking about cheap products. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere far far away from Ashley or anything with their name on it if they were the last sofa company on earth I’d prefer to sit on the cold hard ground.

This store hires a bunch of incompetent people who promote unlawful sales practices. The first problem I encountered was the lady who took the sale FAILED to get our delivery date correctly. This is probably the easiest part of her job and created a huge inconvenience as we had to drive all the way to the store to make the delivery change (phone lines are always disconnected or crashed). Then the delivery guys refused to bring up our mattress..... they called upon arrival saying they will reschedule delivery. Tell me why you have 2 completely useless delivery drivers who rather pass off their workload to someone else. We had to HIRE movers to pick up the mattress from the facility and pay out of pocket. The cherry on top is when our box spring did not fit on our bed frame we had requested a return to which we find out its final sale. We had asked numerous times to our sales associate and there was no mention of a final sale on the box springs. I see all the bad reviews and Ashley's furniture store seems to just post generic feedback but just like their guest care lines - they are incompetent and lack customer service. To anyone considering buying from here - I HIGHLY suggest going elsewhere. This place is nothing buy headaches the minute they have your payment.

Since I just get my first property of my life in December, I have bought a lot of furnitures from Ashley, TheBrick and Leon’s. Compared all the 3 stores, Ashley is the most expensive one, but service and quality are the best! They just make me feel it worths every penny that I spent with them! Their furnitures mostly made with real woods which are super solid and durable. Their design is classical and pretty. Sales team and delivery people are friendly and professional. Ashley’s delivery staffs and assembly staffs are the same group of people, so they can fix or take the furnitures back right away for exchanging or returning if they find some problems during assembling, and they also take the garbages and packages away when they are leaving! I highly recommend everyone just order furnitures with sales people at stores even some merchandise are online only because store managers saw and tried those online only furnitures in person So they can give you some important and useful advice, and they also follow up with you from placing order to when your furnitures are all set. My sales lady Donhui(Kris) is super patient and responsible! She follows me up all the way by calls and messages not just when I visit this store. Keep the great job!

First i bought 5 things from them and had them delivered. They said they can't bring it inside the house. Only can leave in my garage. So i had to tell a few friends to bring it into the house. After we assemble it we notice the tables were all damage due to delivery or dismantle the item. The item was in perfect no scratch condition when i purchased it. Now all the corners have been broken, legs all scratch. Not sure if they use a 3rd party company to deliver and dismantle. I bought extended wanted for 5 years luckily. When i try to make a claim i get no response. I am talking to a BOT. Then i finally got a hold of someone and emailing them pics. It has been over a month and 2 times i have sent them email talking to a live agent and they still didn't get back to me. Go and spend your money at another store. Worst than the Brick and strutube. So i went to the store and they said call and make a claim, the guy that served me said i am quitting at the end of the month. I am better off calling the credit card company for a disbute than calling this company. I company selling overprice stuff and no customer service. You are better off at ikea. At least when they are broken you can buy another one. I didn't even use it yet and is damage.

The rating for the store sale - 5 stars. Our experience at the store was very good and very friendly and polite. Amir and Tarik were exceptional! However, the rating for the guest care is a minus(-5). First of all, we didn't receive the delivery on the promised date. We called the guest care 3 times and spoke patiently, politely from our end without showing our actual frustration on them. The guest care professional promised to call back but we never got any call. We were promised that the manager would give a call back, but that never happened too. When finally we managed to get a date scheduled for the delivery and we called to check on the time slot, the guest care personnel was rude and impolite and just hang up the call when I was still talking. I told her patiently to talk more politely but it was of no use. Will have to wait to see how the actual delivery happens. I am now really sorry and regret that I purchased so much furniture (bed base, mattress, dining table set, couch) from Ashley. May not do it again nor recommend to others. I am not going to be surprised if this review does not matter to Ashley at all. Guess that is how they work.

I was lied to in the store when they told me I could call one week before I wanted delivery. When I called for delivery they told me I had to wait 4 weeks! We moved into a new house with no furniture, no one seemed to care. No one picks up the phone at the store, Everyone is so friendly at the store but once they have their sale...you are on your own. When the furniture was delivered there was damage in the dresser and bed footboard. The delivery men took pictures and told me that someone from Ashley would contact me, no one did. Three weeks after delivery I got fed up of waiting and created a ticket for the damaged items myself. They responded back by saying that they can't help me because 48 hours had passed! Really!?! Once I explained what happened they admitted that they see the pictures but no one followed up with me. The representative on the phone told me that my furniture would have to be picked up and sent back to Mississauga and returned in 1 week. ( I live in Belleville, I know there is zero chance that you would return it with a week)The next pick up date being November 28th. Terrible experience. Unacceptable!

We purchased leather power reclining sofas from Ashley also paid for a 5 year warranty and were veryyyyyyyy disappointed by the quality of the leather and the padding too...after using for a year or two they started to discolor and even the padding wasn't good. We made a complaint but the customer care takes a long time to respond. They sent a leather repair technician who was also surprised to see the discoloration which for sure is a manufacturing defect ...instead of getting it fixed Ashley says it's not covered under warranty ...they train their sales reps to force customers to get the warranty when nothing is covered..at the time of purchase they say everything is covered but now arm not covered head rest not covered back not covered!!! Just fooling customers. Leather sofa from a local company would be much better than the one I got from Ashley its waste of money. I wish I had seen some of the reviews before purchasing it. I would never recommend anyone to purchase any furniture from Ashley...especially their leather products because their after sales service is very bad!!!!!!!

I was helping my brother who is shopping for new sofa and had a very interesting shopping experience with this furniture store. I haven't been into Ashley and that was my first time experience. We saw a leatherette recliner with a price tag of $2800 and said to include delivery. Then one of the sales rep. showed up and we asked for the best pricing. The rep went to the front, 10 minutes later he comes back with a total of $3800 tax-in. The price includes an extended warranty for any appearance damage and mechanical malfunction (which we don't need or want). What's more interesting is the pricing added an extra $150 for "white glove" installation. The rep claimed this will include inspect for any damage.... I mean should they take care of the shipping and inspect for damage anyway? Nothing illegal with their sales tactics but I don't believe people would appreciate the 10minutes wait for such "special" pricing. I understand there's whole logistics/shipment issue due to the pandemic but it doesn't mean consumer will need to beg to sell them a sofa.

My mom and I went in yesterday to look at couches and ended up working with an incredible Sales Professional. Donghui was absolutely lovely!!! So knowledgeable, professional and helped us immensely. I told her exactly what I was looking for (a good couch for a bad back and hip) and she took us to the correct items immediately. She was quick to answer all our questions and so friendly and patient. We even had so many laughs along the way while sitting on the couch, which also made the experience fun. It felt like we were at home. Not even half an hour later, she was ringing up the sale...and it was the first couch she took us too. She is amazing and anytime I need furniture now, I will be looking for her. Also, the store is GORGEOUS and your products are just out of this world...along with your Black Friday sales. Thank you again Donghui for such a great experience!! UPDATE: Couch has been delivered and the the delivery was seamless! Staff were efficient and clean. LISTEN to all the bad reviews this location gets. It's 100 percent accurate, customer service is bad, they're not professional whatsoever. They're all near the front entrance, talking and sitting on the couches in their own little group. Even the so called "manager" is there talking, not being professional whatsoever. Most of the associates do not seem interested in what they're doing. The manager seems like he doesn't know anything, with regards to refund he was just reading what the policy says word by word. Has no knowledge from his own point of view of what the refund policy is. As a manager, we would expect you and educate us about the refund policy but clearly not when all he said was, "this is what it says on the paper." What a JOKE! Again, all the associates do not seem approachable and professional whatsoever, with all off them talking at the front and sitting on the couches. If I could I would give this 0 stars and a negative rating. Does not even deserve 1 star....

I am very disappointed with my service. Firstly people came in the house to deliver my product without wearing shoe covers. They came with bear, dirty shoes. Secondly, one chair had a thread sticking out which one of the delivery people tried to cut with a knife. I didn't like that and I was told that they would do the same thing if the chair was returned back to the Ashley storehouse instead of giving me an entirely new chair. That's why I'm not satisfied with their delivery service. I called the customer service person and I mentioned all my complaints. I told them that I am scared to have the chair deleivered to me again cause they will do this process. I wanted to cancel the chair but they told me that there will be a 10% fee to cancel the return which I wasn't told when I purchased this product. This is very ridiculous. That's why I told them to send me a brand new chair and not the same chair with a defective design.

The manager doesn't seem nice and the sale persons are not smart at all. They don't know how to sell furniture. I wanted to buy a table and the guy comes and tells me that the delivery is $150. First of all, in Ashley.ca the DELIVERY is FREE. why wouldn't I just order it online and have is delivered for free. Secondly every furniture store offer free delivery. The fact that these guys are trying to make it look like that they are doing us a favor by waiving delivery fees is absurd. Get educated, you can't waive what is already free to start with. Almost 99% of the furniture stores offer free delivery so not sure what Era they are stuck with. Anyways very disappointing experience given that I shoped here in the past for all my furniture. Bad service. I was ready to buy the table within 30 min but their poor service made me not give them my money. I would rather deal with a company that make you feel welcoming and valued.

Be careful purchasing anything from this store, their staff are extremely untrustworthy and attempt to add on fees that are unnecessary without fully explaining them, I purchased a loveseat here for 689.99, the total gets ringed up and it's 990.00, my wife and I press for why the total is so much, the sales person and manager Amir simply state it's tax and delivery. My wife and I do the calculations and say that's wrong, all of a sudden they inform us they added a $140 protection plan onto the loveseat without asking us. This store is incredibly sketchy and you will feel like a piece of meat in this location, their sales team is extremely aggressive and try to charge fees without telling you or explaining. Will never return. Edit: your resolution was to price match, which is one of your policies. Your staff still needs to be trained on how to treat a customer and not be sketchy.

Absolutely horrible experience all the way through. The sales woman scheduled the delivery for the wrong day. The stores phone lines were not working, had to drive to the store just to tell them to stop the delivery. Then when they were supposed to deliver, the driver made excuses about traffic and no loading zone and then told me he had to leave. Called customer service and they offered to reschedule the delivery for 10 days later. Ended up having to hire movers to go pick up the mattress. The box springs didn’t fit in the bed and when I called to return them they said they do not accept returns on box springs. The sales person had told me they had a 90 day return policy and said nothing about salsa being final. The box spring wasn’t even used or slept on. Overall a very disorganized and inefficient company to deal with. Take your money and your business elsewhere.

Had a terrible experience buying a king size bed here for around 1000 bucks. The bed central support system broke twice within 6 months. We just sleep on it, no hard or rough use broke it twice in the middle of sleep. To get it fixed they'll order parts which would take a month and then get technician from Ashleys would take another 2 weeks. So during this 1 and half month of getting parts and getting fixed we get to sleep on floor. The technician came in to fix informed us that we were sold a discontinued product that had so many concerns and issues. Reported this to Ashleys but they could do nothing. Avoid this terrible place and brand if you want peace of mind after purchasing your furniture. Update: They asked to contact after this review at below mail. Never to reply back and this is 3rd time it broke again. Terrible products and terrible quality

I phoned this location asking if they had a specific mattress in store. The sales representative confirmed that it was in store and that she had similar models to view as well. I asked about their current promotions and, over the phone, she said they did have them on sale and the manager could possibly provide an additional discount. She told me to come in to see the mattresses. When I arrived at the store, she insisted in showing me a different mattress which was completely different from the one I asked about. The one I was interested in was not in the store. I found another mattress that I liked and asked about their promotions. She said her manager couldn’t do anything about the prices in store. I left without making a purchase, and without testing out the one I was interested in.

Literally but at ur own risk. Like why did I pay an extra $500 to keep begging guest care or help me when their fault product. Like I didn’t buy a $7000 couch to have problems and then have to keep calling to beg them to come fix the problem. Then a part dosent come in and I get told if I don’t get it next time I’ll have to pay for it to be sent. Like why is it my problem that I didn’t receive it when I’m waiting months. Also I had to call and ask where my part is cause it’s been so long. Like no follow up call or anything. The first few calls I remained calm but cmon less than a year of owning a 7k couch. Like it’s my wife and I no kids or nothing and the couch already seems like it’s strength is gone. I could keep going on but yeah you get the picture…

Do not attempt delivery in the GTA. "White glove" delivery agents refused to lift a sofa into an elevator. Sofa is 96 inches long and the elevator is 102 inches high. The sofa could literally have been shuffled in if they had done their job of lifting furniture. They claimed it didn't fit, took photos of doctored measurements, and wouldn't try moving it in on a diagonal. Did not attempt to remove packaging; did not offer for me to sign a damage waiver. Simply tried lifting it once off the dolly and decided to abandon the pursuit. Delivery driver DID ask to heat up his tupperware in my microwave and used microagressions in addressing me. Hope the drivers were able to avoid the snowstorm they said they did not want to drive in.

Absolutely worst customer service from Anisha Khanna, very rude & unprofessional. Bought a sofa and had long discussion on which configuration we wanted which was exactly how it was demonstrated in the store as well so pretty easy to understand but during delivery they sent the wrong configuration. Now telling us to wait 2-3 weeks and instead of taking accountability for her mistake & apologising for the inconvenience she has the audacity to tell me that i should have checked the receipt properly which is all written in their own code language with no proper left/right side mention. And shouting on the phone and telling me to come all the way to the store if i want to cancel it. I would not recommend this salesperson.

Bought there the sofa. The sales team was amazing, very helpful, and very knowledgeable. However, the overall experience with Ashley store was horrible. When it came to the delivery part, Ashley customer care service was highly unprofessional and very poorly trained. I had to reschedule the delivery time several times b/c somehow they dictate the time. I live in the newly built building and it was very hard to book the elevator. The kept putting me in the timeslot that was very inconvenient for me. The customer rep (Jenny?) was very rude and unprofessional, denied to help with accommodation. We are now shopping for a baby furniture, and I would never do the same mistake and get that headache again.

I purchased a Dining Table in AS IS condition in urgency and was supposed to get it delivered on January 4, 2023. The delivery was delayed and I received it on January 9, 2023. The dining table was supposed to arrive as one piece as discussed with the store manager at the time of purchase. To my surprise the dining table arrived dismantled and damaged. One of the dining table legs was broken. When contacted the customer service, they said they will order a new table leg but it will arrive after 4-6 weeks. I had a family function and that was the reason I bought it in urgency. They ruined my entire purchase and are also not sure whether it will be delivered within 4 - 6 weeks. Worst store to buy.

Very awful experience with Ashley homestore, Sales team are really great, Geetha and Amged are wondered helpful sales staff, but planning and delivery team are the laziest people in the world, they donot care about anything, coming to my place blaming why there are 6 doors between loding zone and elevator, they lie so easy and very careless, almost every weekend for 5 weeks were dealing with them and still Ashley's sofa is in my place . Very bad and terrible experience with Ashley, still sending damaged and returned item despite asking for pre inspection prior to delivery. Calling more than 20 time to guest care team, not helpful at all , they are terrible,very disappointing. Never recommended

Honestly, save yourself the time, hassle and money and make your purchase anywhere else. I ordered a bed set over a month ago. They changed the delivery date 3 times, and showed up on a date they initially cancelled on. Finally when we received the item, it was damaged. We paid over $6,000 for this bed and dresser and now we are wasting another few weeks figuring out a return/exchange. Also if the give you a damaged product and you decide you're tired of dealing with their nonsense and want to return, they charge you a "restocking fee" 25%. Its clear they don't actual care about their customers or good quality service. Its just always about the commission and never about anything else.

Definitely the worst experience ever. We went there to buy all the furniture cause we don't have any chair in our apartment to set on. After we decided what we want we mentioned that please don't be late for the delivery, cause we don't have anything in our apartment .So they promised us that everything is in stock and the delivery will be on time. But unfortunately the delivery time was changed twice, and on the both time no one called us telling that they are not coming. Last time we went back to the store asking them what's the problem, they told us that not all the items are in stock. So we canceled the order after a big argument with them. Lucky to have our money back.

Wow customer service here is the worst no one will help you ! They just walk right past you like your not even there. Finally had a guy named Mark take the time after half hour trying to find just a price. Order product said it would be ready next day . They would have it at the front waiting. When I arrived was greeted by Aj. Was the worst customer service ever. Said I needed to pay again for my product or else he will not get it from the back. Waiting after another half hour to realize my stuff was not packed so I had to wait for them to package it which they told me they couldn’t do the day before. Worst customer service ever! Don’t think I will be back to this location again.

My experience from a sales perspective was fine. My associate was very helpful, however Ashley as a company needs to get their s*** together when it comes to expected delivery. I was made to feel my sectional would be at my house by Christmas ( I made it very clear it was needed by then or I wouldn't make the purchase) and of course once I pay for everything and sign the papers I get a text a few days later saying it will be 13 weeks!! The Sales associate told me she would contact me, she didn’t, guess I know why. So annoyed. Never again with this place. My sectional better be in Immaculate shape when it arrives but based on other comments that may be too high of an expectation.

We have bought quite a lot of furniture from Ashley’s and never had an issue. The service at purchase no matter the location was great. This time around we had an issue a needed to return a single item after they delivered 3 weeks late. They were very factual and unfriendly during the return. Not only did I have to pay a restocking fee of 25% but I had to either return the item to the warehouse myself or pay another fee to have it picked up. When I chose to pay the 25% restocking fee I was told it would be picked up on my first call. The old bait and switch. Nobody pretends to care after the sale or do what is right. It’s just about the money. I won’t shop Ashley’s ever again.

BUY ON YOUR OWN RISK, all guest care will say is as PER OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Long story short, bought sofa from them which I received damaged, after 3 week the technician came to say this need to be taken to the shop, Like seriously?! I asked guest care for replacement but AS PER THE TERMS CONDITIONS I’M ONLY ENTITLED FOR REPAIR and obviously no refund. This was not my mistake and it’s my absolute right to get new one and not wait for month only for the technician to recommend repair. NO GUEST CARE MANAGER would take my call, I don’t recommend this brand at all. See other customers comments and going through the same thing. By far the worst after sales service.

Its a Scam! Read the terms of sale carefully before purchasing. They delivered a broken dining table and the delivery team themselves discovered the damage and took the dining table back. Now, none of the team is taking responsibility to replace it. Instead the policy says they will fix the broken dining table in a month and deliver it back or we have to give 25% fees for restocking. Why should a customer wait for refixed table when they paid for a new one? CUSTOMER CARE was non sympathetic and rude. I have updated the review after getting the chair replaced so maybe its better to be informed about the terms and condition before buying from them.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. Ordered a bed at Ashley and the technician did not install it properly. The side rail was not attached properly and the nightstands were both wobbly. We called customer service about 20-30 minutes before he left, and they said it could take days to weeks for somebody else to come and repair the bed. The bed was for a senior and we had already waited long enough for the bed, so we hired somebody to repair it. We emailed the store and didn't get a response even though it's been over a week. The customer service were also very rude and unpatient. They're onlg nice untill they send the item, but after they dont care.

Went to purchase a new couch, and was met by Geetha at the front entrance, who provided amazing customer service from the start, as well as the manager, the tall young gentleman. As a matter of fact, the entire team was very pleasant and attentive. We fell in love with this leather sectional, they didn't have a floor model but took a chance. Gurmail & his partner were amazing. How do I give them a recommandation? They were kind, very attentive, and were very productive. Great team, absolutely would give them 10 stars⭐️. The entire Ashley experience was outstanding. Christopher (Scarborough store) was a pleasure to deal with and he immediately called us about an oversight which we missed. THAT'S A BIG DEAL FOR US. I know Wayfair is a popular place to shop but we could not buy something sight unseen. Plus, the warranty is a great option for those who like piece of mind protection if something goes wrong. Even the delivery guys were great. They were nice enough to bring it to my backyard when they were only supposed to leave it at the front of the house. We have been to Ashley a month ago , inside the store we got the best customer service , yesterday was the delivery date and I have received my sofa ripped and damaged!! When I called Ashley they offered a repair!!! Why would I repair new furniture that i just bought and received damaged!! And when i explained that the only answer I get policily its the policy! your policy is to deliver damaged furniture to my place! This sofa needs to be replaced or refunded not repaired !!! This will definitly be my last purchase and I will tell the story to all my community and never recommend Ashley to anyone!

I just moved to Toronto and thank god I only bought a sectional sofa from Ashley HomeStore because I was about to make the biggest mistake of my life as I was about to look for other furniture!! I should’ve read the reviews before buying a couch for $2500 that is noisy as hell and all the help I could get from the guest care was to send a technician three weeks from now to have a look at it!! This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The salesperson tells you one thing and you’ll find a whole other thing once delivered. Do yourself a favour! Save your money for a better experience elsewhere!

We purchased a sofa and chair-and-a-half and a patio set on clearance. Andranik helped us with the purchase at the store, and he was super helpful, patient, and gave us a great deal. After ordering, we realized the sofa and chair-and-a-half would not fit up the stairs into our apartment, and we contacted Abid who helped us modify our order to remove those pieces without any hassle or hidden fees or 'catches'. We appreciated the quick action, transparency, and professionalism of everyone we worked with at this store - even though we ended up not taking most of our order. Would recommend 10/10.

I personally had a really bad experience from the start. Provided wrong info only to find out on delivery date I need a box spring . Sale rep adil has no idea what he saying and selling and now I have to wait again for box spring Delivery dates messed around with had to take 2 days off work . Delivery people damaged my ceiling and flooring . Furniture came damaged scuffed and chipped all over Customer service doesn’t handle damage for furniture or home - everything is through a text . So my experience initially at a different location was terrible. I had been trying to get a hold of that location for over a month, ended being transferred to this location and was helped by Shirley who was brilliant. She connected me to Padhma who assisted me with my purchase and made the situation right. They were friendly, patient and helpful. I have gotten my delivery today and one of the pillows on the sofa is not stitched properly and looks deformed. I will reach out and based on the service so far, expect this to be resolved. I am just wandering why would a trust a company or a store that can’t answer a phone with a big purchase. How could I depend on there Product and I can’t depend on a simple question I needed to ask. Lie to get sales ending up paying 3 times as much with interest. Said it would be 100 a month for 3 years and after a year it when to 300 a month, and 184 was going to interest and to top it off waiting on a part for my bed for over a year. Tarik sales manager extremely friendly and responsible. just the quality of the furniture need to be improved there is scratches and manufacture defect and i have to send it back for 3 times in total already. which is very tiring and unexpected. Miserable service! I’m still waiting on this warranty parts since two months running. The bed broke a few hours after it was assembled by Ashley guys. Poor poor design. Not recommended at all. They’re putting velcros on a king bed! No anchors for the screws to go in! My first time buying from here and definitely my last time. Would advice you should avoid too. They got no sense of customer service, I’ve been following up and never got a concrete answer. Not even worth a star!

Great service from Padhama at the Scarborough store . Selected White Glove delivery. Kept informed by text every step in delivery. Delivery crew arrived promptly as per time. Driver (Roma) greeted me, checked room where items to be set up. He and his partner carefully brought items downstairs, unpacked and set up. I inspected and no damage was observed. They removed all packaging to the truck. Best delivery service we have experienced.

The delivery from this store should be the Gold Standard in the industry. They provide you with a narrow window (3hrs) plus almost real-time updates within that 3hr window. They understand that customers' time is valuable. It was because of their update that I was able to plan to walk my dog and ensured to be home when the delivery came. There was no time where I felt that I was 'at the mercy' of the delivery time. Great job!!!

In store service was excellent. We'd definitely recommend this store. Our salesperson was Padma. Knowledgeable and friendly yet not pushing to make a quick sale. Delivery service was excellent. Paid for "white glove" service and the two delivery people were also professional and friendly. They were careful not to damage anything and were well versed in the setup of the products. They were on time and completed the job quickly.

This company is the worst. We purchased our bed set in February 2022 and it still hadn’t been delivered. It’s been almost 11 months. Every time you call for a update, they keep saying it’s going to take another 3 weeks, yet you can purchase the same item on their website with a expected delivery date of 5 days. Huge fraud going on here. We can’t even cancel the order because they delivered a portion of the order.

I am glad to report that this store is maintaining high standards of customer service unlike some of their competitors. Very disappointed and frustrated with there service !!placed order complete bed room sets on June 10th 2023 they promised to delivery on 25th June no one showed up then call store they said will deliver on July 5th 2023 still did not receive any delivery date or single call from them . Great first experience at an Ashley home store!! It's a pretty good value looking at the quality of their furnitures, especially compared to stores like The Bricks or Structube. The first salesperson we encountered, Donghui, was amazing and helped us finding the perfect piece for our new home! Couldn't be happier, especially when it's wasn't planned to stop there!

We went to the store 3 times in the last two days while sofa shopping. The staff made us feel very welcomed and appreciated every time. Ended up choosing a sectional we saw in the store. This store is speclized in questionable business practices. The displayed priced is a suggestion to lure you in. If you like a piece somehow the displayed price changes to increase drastically. Surprisingly even when they have a bigger storewide sale the price of pieces goes up instead of going down... Run away.

Ashley purchase was very convenient, right from the sales person who helped us with our order to the delivery staff. The best thing was that I was able to track the delivery truck route. I was told delivery between 3-6 and the furniture was delivered at 4:30. They took great care with the delivery and assembly.

Bought table and bench at this place and took only 6 months to receive them . The item was damage and no one at the call center can help you . Cannot request refund and no supervisor that is able to speak with their client. Dealt with so many furniture company and this is the worst one so far.

Customer service is poorrrr!!! Went in on Friday with my mom and there was no one to assist us. The customer representative at the cash was trying to avoid as much contact as possible so she does not have to actually assist the customers. Products on the hand are great!!!
