Incompetent and absolutely appalling! We went to Callea Pearce Lawyers to assist in managing a deceased family members estate. When we received the first lot of documents, not only did they name the wrong persons estate, but they named the wrong address in the Property Transfer AND had numerous typos. After contacting them to alert them of the errors, we had new documents sent to us that has been "thoroughly examined and proofread". However, just glancing at the new documents, we could see errors still remained, and had not been corrected even after we had detailed the errors (in dot points!) in an email to Callea Pearce. We sent them another email regarding the issue, which they then followed up with a call the next morning where I was asked outright (in a terribly audacious attitude - and no apology) "what exactly is the problem with the new documents?". They were to lazy (and/or incompetent) to even read through their own documents and refer to our first email that listed ALL the errors! Then, I posted an honest review on their Facebook page which was quickly followed up with a phone call advising me it was “bad for business” and imply I should consider removing it. They said they couldn’t comment on the review due to privacy reasons. 2 weeks later, they commented on the review (suddenly their privacy policies had changed) and attempted to minimise their errors by not only insinuating I misinterpreted the conversations, but that it was “one small error” which quite frankly, is far from the truth. Funnily enough, they removed their Facebook reviews shortly after. If I could give them negative stars, I would. Disgusting.

Aspire Lawyers have represented us three times now as our conveyancers. Hi I came to your Melton office last week as I wanted to enquire about witnessing a signature on document for us. I went to your office during opening hours. It was locked. No sign, No reason. I called I talked with a guy who said. Oh! Are you there are you? I'm not at the office myself so I don't know what's happening but I ll take all all your details and get back to you ASAP. NOTHING NADA no call as promised, No follow up, No nothing.. ZERO . Thanks I'll find someone who can be at their office/ follow up on ph calls. It's pretty basic business Etiquette.
