We went here on a Friday night for dinner. It wasn't that busy, maybe 3 tables but we chose to sit up at the bar because it was brighter for me to take photos and also see the pizza oven in action. We took the managers suggestion for a drink and got a well constructed cocktail, lychee flavour. We perused the menu and they mostly sell pizzas that all looked pretty appealing and cooked in the huge pizza oven. We got a couple of share plates; lamb ribs came out straight away - they are really nice, sticky flavour. We also ordered the zucchini flowers and charcuterie plate. Zucchini flowers were 2 on a plate, slightly crispy and nice cheese filling. The charcuterie plate had a few types of meat and cheese, but the cheese wasn't great and it had no bread which is a bit odd. These came out about 40 minutes after ordering. The staff did not update us as to what was happening or inform us that they were slow this evening. And for a plate of deli meats, presumably would take about 2 minutes to assemble. We didn't get asked if we wanted another drink or our bill and we got up to leave. Perhaps management realised and apologised for the service having a new chef, offering us an ouzo which is a good touch, however this update shouldn't come when you're about to leave, service should be consistent.
One of the best pizzerias I have ever been to, ever. Assembly is about as close to a true Naples style pizzeria experience as you can get, without having to take the 24-hour international flight. The pizza menu is simple yet diverse enough to cater for a range of taste buds, from spicy (diavola) to bianco (pizzas with no tomato sauce). The anti-pastis are to die for. You cannot miss the short rib ($10 for a large juicy chuck of meat on the bone, served on a bed of shreded red cabbage). The meat is so tender and juicy, and the red wine sauce so velvety, smooth and flavourful, that I felt compelled to lick the plate clean so that no single drop of goodness went to waste. Not only is the food absolutely devine, the drinks there are second to none also. I was delighted to find one of my all-time favourite summer drinks there: Spritz...takes me right back to that summery vacation in Venice. Last but not least, the staff there are awesome friendly. I love sitting around the bar watching Chef Anthonio doing his magic around the pizza oven. Just mesmorising! If you love Naples style pizza or Italian food in general, you cannot miss Assembly!
Absolutely horrible. The loud music did not match the vibe of this place whatsoever, it was extremely crowded. It took over 30 minutes to order two items. After ordering the Zia Carmela and the Assembly Cheese Burger, the wait was short, but the food was terrible quality. Zia Carmela - $25 Presentation was nice, but the plate itself was unconveniently too big for the table. The flavour was alright, but it tasted very unseasoned and the dough was definitely undercooked. Assembly Cheese Burger - $19 Serving portion was small, burger looked like a slider, the bun was hard, and too crusty. The patty was unfresh and tasted like dog food. I also ordered a cocktail, which really brought the rating down for me. Cotton Candy - $19.5 The cocktail was extremely strong, as I noticed my server was drunk. It tasted too sour and strong, which was weird since its supposed to be a sweet drink. Otherwise presentation was great. Never coming back here. This place absolutely ruined my entire experience of bars.
The entire experience from the bouncer at the door, to the environment inside to the cocktails themselves were terrible. The bouncer arbitrarily decided to enforce a “no open toed shoe” policy for me, when many other girls inside were wearing sandals, simply because I wasn’t dressed for clubbing, but simply had pants and a t shirt on. The music is electronic, turned up so loud that you can’t hear anyone talk. But we came here for the cocktails which were also disappointing. The bartender didn’t know how to make the drinks and had to look up the recipes, made the drinks only filling the glasses halfway (when all the other bartenders were filling precisely to the rim) and then finally actually mixed up the drinks and put the garnishes on the wrong ones so that a few sips in we had to swap around the table based on color and flavor of the drinks. there are lots of great bars in Sydney so this one so a waste of your time and money.
First time here having cocktails with my friends tonight but had a very unpleasant experience with two of the bartenders. We asked for cocktails recommendations and the bartenders suggested the cocktails so we followed. These two bartenders were so sarcastic, they kept giggling with each other, making fun in front of us the whole time while we waiting for our drinks. They said things like we can’t even decide looking at the drinks list for 10 mins? We are so basic by ordering this drink? We looked underage? Shocking I never ever experienced something like that... Seriously if we paid 22$ for a drink we wanted to treat nicely and professionally. I mean we can take a joke but not disrespect disgusted as a joke. No thanks would never go back
Tucked away in Regent Place is a cool, industrial small bar...I've been several times and each time has been great. It never gets too packed, the staff is super friendly, the music is good and the drinks/food are on point. Assembly closes a little early, due to its location so it's more of a place to get drinks after work or to eat/drink before you head off elsewhere to continue the fun. Try their range range of beers and cocktails...I don't have any specifics as they've all been pretty good for me. I haven't tried their burgers but I'm told they're pretty good. I typically get the pork sliders (yum) and fries. The cheese/truffle sauce is more like a gravy...delicious. Great place to bring a date or meet up with some friends.
We were extremely unsatisfied with our experience at the assembly bar. We waited over an hour to be let in, only to be seated at a dirty table that no one cleaned while we were there. We both ordered the cotton candy cocktail that was extremely sticky down the sides to hold that it made it unpleasant to consume. It also felt very cramped in the bar and the stairs leading up to the top felt very impractical as they were extremely windy and narrow. Trying to carry numerous drinks up them is not ideal. Besides all that, the guy letting everyone in was very friendly and the overall look of the bar is very appealing so it was such a letdown to experience what we did.
Myself and father came in last night for pizza and pasta as we normally do on Sunday evenings. The place was very busy and staff did not look like they knew what they were doing. The servers could not understand my requests and made many mistakes throughout the evening! I expressed my complaints to a very friendly young lady behind the bar Lucia, very sympathetic and was the only one who seemed to care about the restaurant or know what was going on. Other than that my experience was much less enjoyable than usual. If I decide to come back I hope it is a lot better. Only reason I am giving 3 stars and not 1 is because of the kind young lady and the pizza.
Whether you are sitting outside in the garden or found a comfy couch inside, clipboard menus are within reach everywhere. The cocktail list is impressive. Be it vodka, bourbon, rum, whiskey, gin or something else, name your pleasure and there will be a cocktail to suit. Wine and beer are also on offer, but my love for cocktails tend to steer me away from the wine/beer list. The food menu concept here is all about sharing. Of course if you are feeling hungry or greedy, then you could have the entire dish to yourself. But what I love about sharing plates is that you'll get to try more dishes than if they were served as for individuals.
I made a reservation for the 24/12 on the website on 5/12 as my friends are coming to Sydney and I would like to enjoy the christmas eve with them at a nice bar. I even got a confirmation email on 22/12 which made us even more excited with the coming event. However when we arrived the bar was closed without any notification! Although we understand that it is a holiday season, we are utterly disappointed in the basic expectation in the form of a notice or announcement. Given that they fail in basics areas such as informing customers of changes to their opening hours, I can only assume of their failures in other areas of the business.
Don’t bother - after years of coming here, there is a new man(?) on the bar staff - short, curly black hair. I have just experienced a case of ‘little man syndrome’ I wish to forget. I came to order a pizza for lunch- going well, then when asked if I wanted anything else (Hint, drink)- to which I replied ‘no thanks’ - I was met with an eye-roll like I’ve never seen before. It was not done in jest, rather something untoward. Either way, appears to be a new bar manager also and it’s just not the same place. It’s the city, this place is nothing special or out of the ordinary. Lost my custom.
Worked for me. Smiling faces everywhere, rustic atmosphere, no bright lights. Looks of absolute joy on the faces of those carrying skulls. Like finding the cordial stash when you were a kid. Music a little bit overbearing, hard to even make out, sound is not good. They need to get someone in to fix this. Staff very capable and friendly. Those skulls are premixed, and are not strong, but may test your sugar tolerance. They take Amex. Off menu cocktails seem to be do-able as well. It never hurts to ask. Other punters polite and well mannered. No issues with the food either.
This place is a hidden treasure. Tucked in behind Event Cinemas on George Street, The Assembly bar and restaurant is a great way to get away from the bustle out on the main road. We went on a ridiculously hot night and tucked ourselves upstairs right in front of one of the air conditioning vents. Pure heaven. The bar staff are top notch(you can tell a good drinksmith when they taste their concoction before handover) and friendly to boot. The smoking skull of doom cocktail bowls are a dead set hit! Happy smiley people everywhere. I'm going back and I'm taking some peeps.
Popped into this pumping bar and restaurant for a bite and a drink. Had the Fresca Fresca pizza with Italian sausage and a Kraken Apple cocktail, both recommended by a member of staff. The pizza was the most delicious I've had in Sydney, and the cocktail was just the right compliment to the food. Specializing in cocktails (served with pizzazz) and pizza (with antipasto, pasta, salads, vegan and gluten free options on the menu), this is a must visit for any pizza or cocktail lover. Doggy bag (box) was available when I couldn't eat the whole lot.
Ordered two overpriced pizzas that were pretty awful. The minimal toppings slid right off along with the heaping of rocket that was dumped on the top. There was barely any cheese on the pizza and you're not allowed to modify them. Not even an option to add toppings for an extra cost. The bar is really lovely and the cocktails looked nice, but the music was incredibly loud so none of us could talk to each other, which, at a "reasturant" is a bit pointless. Might go again for a drink at a quieter time, but won't eat there again.
A great hidden gem in the CBD. The food here is amazing and a great place to come with a group of people. It looks like they are joined with the local Italian Restaurant so the traditional wood-fired pizzas are some of the best I have ever had. There is an outdoor area which you can book for large tables or groups. They also have lunchtime special pizzas and $5 drinks (beer, cider and wine). its not a huge bar, but there are plenty of sets and private areas inside. I highly recommend the assembly bar.
Fantastic pizza, and wonderful service from Mark. The pizza base is one of the best I have ever had. Perfectly cooked. And such friendly service. I was just picking up my order through Meal Pal. But where most other pizza places have cooked the pizza way before pick up. Mark insists on it being fresh out of the over (woodfired) While I waited (2 mins) Mark was incredibly friendly and struck up conversation (not many chefs do that). True asset to the business and his Pizza skills are next level!
It seems that the fad has finally passed over this place. When I visited, it was a Saturday, around 10 o'clock at night, the bar was quiet, with only a few small groups of people in the corners. I wonder what happened? The drinks are pretty good, I particularly recommend one drink that I've forgotten the name of but is described as typical prohibition style something - it has cognac in it. Good place to spend some quiet time with close friends now that it's no longer as fashionable.
Amazing. Tina at the front check in was so nice. Friendly, chatty and then offered us some free drinks and food after we told her it was our date night. Didn't get the bartender's name but he was also so nice and friendly. Cocktails and food were so delicious and the atmosphere is great - great selection of music! Been around here a lot but surprisingly have never been to this bar before. Now we're determined to make it a regular. Thanks so much for the wonderful hospitality. ✌️
Assembly Bar has quickly become one of my favourite bars in Sydney. Staff are always friendly, are very knowledgeable, love what they do, and always ensure you have an amazing time. Drinks are well priced, always taste amazing and the place always has a great vibe about it. Only complaint is that I wish it closed later. In comparison to other bars, Assembly closes rather early and it’s always a shame because my friends and I always have a blast there and want to stay longer.
This was the beginning of an epic bar crawl I went on and this was a great place to start off with! The food was great I had the chips, which are the perfect kind of chip; crunchy on the outside soft on the inside and the calamari was delicious too. The bar design was an amazing western steampunk style bar which I could see myself going to often. Best thing of all it makes its vodka apples with fresh granny smith apples which the only way you can have a vodka apple.
I would have to admit this is the most fun venue for a bartender to go to, if they want to feel like they are at home. The bartenders seem to love connecting with customers and others in the industry. I went the first time and was met with a lovely conversation by Ben and specifically Dylan (both who i met at the time) and left trying 3 new cocktails ive never had before. Lovely selection of spirits, the pizzas are delicious and the service was friendly and warm.
I came with some friends last night but I was in a lot of pain from one of my wisdom teeth and taking (ineffective) painkillers so wasn’t drinking alcohol. I asked for cold water with ice, and he made it like a cocktail and had me shake it, and put it in a fancy cocktail glass. Maybe it was the painkillers but that actually made my night. The atmosphere was great and my friends all said their cocktails were amazing too. We’ll definitely be back.
This place has a fantastic pizza. The dough is carefully prepared and set to levitate for 48 hours which makes it crunchy and very easy to digest. The pizzaiolo looks italian and the pizza is authentic 100%. Can say the same thing about the primo which was disappointing. Never seen pumpkin ravioli served with a strong ragu as it totally kills the flavour. In a nutshell, best pizza in Cbd area but stay away from the primi.
Enjoyable restaurant with a small but excellent selection of choices. Many reviews have talked about the pizzas being great however I'd like to comment that the pastas are just as great. I highly recommend the squid ink linguini and the arancini balls. The duck pappardelle was also very tasty. There are a number of cocktails available too and it is worth getting one of the skull themed drinks to share with your party.
I really don’t understand how this place has such good reviews. I’ve never left a review about a place before but people need to know how contrived and pathetic this bar is. The bar staff were a bit too cool, not friendly at all. The pizzas were overpriced and undercooked and just really bad. They smelt like burnt marshmallows and cheetos, I was starving and only had 2 bites. Don’t think I’ll be going back here.
Organised a birthday here and there were pretty accommodating - had a area reserved up the top and it made it feel very much like a private area. The food is pretty good for bar food. They have great fries which is prefect for a boozy night. There is also a pretty cute "outdoor" area with astroturf that is great if you just want to chat with mates in an area that isn't as noisy as the main bar.
Food - 2/2 Ambience - 1/1 Vegan and Vegetarian options - 1/1 Service - 1/1 I was a fan of Assembly Restaurant the day they announced their “All you can eat vegan pizza” event. This event was a success as most of the tickets were sold out! They had an exclusive area and range designed for the event which was accompanied with a glass of vegan wine. I wish they do more like these in the future!
I was here on Saturday Night, the security and staff didn’t make sure anyone checked in. When I went to do it they laughed at me, I assume it’s because I was the only one that did it. There is no 1.5m distance between anyone as they do not care. The tables were not clean as all of them were all sticky and dirty, staff were too occupied talking rather than ensuring everyone was covid safe.
Five stars to the bartender, Dillon! I simply asked at the bar if they had fresh juice which my 5 yo daughter (who was with her dad outside) had been asking for all evening. While no fresh juice on the menu, he went above and beyond by quickly grabbing few oranges out from the back and squeezing fresh OJ for us! Best customer service ever (when I wasn’t even a customer at the bar)
Assembly is from the same person who opened Pocket Bar. The cocktail set is unique. The best thing about this bar is the varied seating. There's an area outside with fake grass and fairly lights, there's a loft-style area with bigger tables and comfy seating downstairs. One of the best places to drink around that side of town (i.e. don't go to Star Bar and get a disease or something).
Assembly bar is without a doubt my favourite spot to go for a few drinks in Sydney. I like their cocktail range and how they classify them according to flavour. The bartenders are almost always super friendly and willing to have a chat. The location is in Regeants place so there is lots to do around before or after a few drinks too. Vibe of the place is good for a chill time.
This salubrious place is a convenient and cosy meeting place in the middle of the city just a short hop across the road from Town Hall Station. The cocktail staff are passionate about what they do and there is an extensive range of drinks to be drunk on the menu. Give it a try and this place might just become your next favourite meeting place in the heart of the city.
Horrible service from the team tonight, especially the female waitress. We asked the female waitress to follow up on our pizzas after waiting 20 minutes and she never returned. We went to the bar after an additional 20 minutes only to be advised that our order was given to another table. We come to Assembly often and this experience has completely turned us off.
Not a bad spot, quite well hidden away, has good music and a great kitchen with delicious and affordable pizza made just a few shopfronts away. It's two floors inside, dimly lit with a nice atmosphere and there is also seating outside if you want a quieter area for a chat. Downside is that there is no tap beer however there is an extensive selection of bottled.
Food and cocktails were awesome! The staff were so friendly and helpful. I went there as part of a surprise party my girlfriend planned for me and the staff were well versed as preparing the cakeage!!!! Just when I thought the night couldn't get any better a waiter surprises my table with birthday shots, on the house!!! A great experience all in all.
Ordered the ragout and the portion size was tiny. Not happy for the amount I paid. If you are wanting to chat and sit down probably not the best place for it as the music is blaring in the dining area and you aren't able to hear each other unless you are yelling. If you're a hipster or a player then this is the pub for you. Otherwise give it a miss.
We were looking for somewhere open on good friday. Stumbled upon Assembly. We were very happy with what we recieved. Both of our pizza were delicious. The thin, soft crust meant you tasted more of the toppings, which was good as the toppings were excellent. Definitely in my top 5 pizzas. Will absolutely be returning when I'm in the city in future.
$15 for sweet potato fries that weren't even cooked through and had no salt on them until I had to ask the waiter to bring me some. Poor quality for such an easy entree to make didn't even end up staying for a main! the alcohol is exceptional but you wouldn't notice the lower standard of the food if you have been drinking there! Stick to the punch
Really cosy well designed bar with several inside and outside seating options. Great cocktail menu and a small selection of beers and wines. Would be good to see a couple of beers on tap though. Missed out on getting five stars as I was there at opening time and they were serving red wine from bottles that had been open since the day before.
I quite like this bar, it's convenient and cosy. They make great cocktails, the one with fairy floss is the best. The staff are really nice too. It does get crowded and there isn't a lot of comfortable seating so if you have a big group, arrive a bit early. Their cocktails are quite pricey but personally I think it is worth the price.
I come here for 2 reasons: quiet outside section and cocktail quality+variety. If you want a quiet chat with a few friends over great cocktails, come during "off-peak" and get comfy. When this place gets busy though, the queues are obscene. Bar staff are helpful and friendly. The free popcorn is Very Salty - my favourite flavour.
I asked several times to be served with a simple pasta. The answer was a rude NO. All I asked for was a pasta with oil salt and pepper, pizza sauce if possible. Again. Strictly NO. The only vegan pasta comes with garlic. Take it or leave it. I was a regular. Not any more. 29/05/2015 6:00pm. The Italian guy was polite at least
Great little spot hidden away downstairs and to the left at Regent Place. Went there on a Sunday evening and enjoyed delicious $10 pizza (you only have 6 pizza options) and $5 house beer and wine. House beer is Peroni... for only $5... that's an absolute steal! Pizza are small so 1 per person, but you'll be full afterwards.
Edit: I have now eaten here, and the food is very nice! They have 2 for 1 pizza specials on Sundays. The cocktails are awesome! They have spooky skull ones and ones they light on fire and everything in between. It's a real production, so while they're pricey you feel a bit like you've gotten a drink and a show.
Terrible experience, we were at dinner with a couple we know who had an infant child. The wait staff did nothing to accommodate this, nor offer up any semblance of care. The food and drinks were average too, to top it off. They've lost a fairly loyal customer in me and my friends today. See you never.
We visited the bar on Sunday night, there wasn't many people at the time. Cocktails were delicious but a bit lean towards pricey end of the scale. However, bartenders was very friendly and happy to recommend cocktails based on each of our different taste. Food was ok. Overall, we had a great night.
A lot of my favorite cocktails have been discovered here. Expect flames and dry ice with many of their inventive drinks. Good buzzing vibe and excellent service ! Wish more bars took as much time coming up with fun and creative cocktails like Assembly... and as very fairly priced !
Great warm ambience. Gorgeous tiled interior. Staff were exceptionally nice and courteous. Meals ranged from around $20-40 for mains. The gluten free pizza base is the Very best I've had in my life. Seriously insane! I love to cook and have never managed to make a vase this good!
Mediocre at best. Service is quite slow, their signature drinks get old quickly with there dry ice tactics. It's as hot as the surface of the sun inside... If you sit outside you have people walking past all the time. I feel like this place is going through an identity crisis...
What a hidden gem! I stumbled upon this place by accident and wow what a finding! The bar offers some really old school drinks that you wouldn't often find!! Really nice atmosphere, friendly staff and popcorn is given out complimentary! Such a cool place! would come back again!
This place gets every busy, all for good reason. Cocktails are great and the bartenders know their thing. Complimentary popcorn is great too. Lack of table service is a downer especially when you are sitting outside in the garden area. And the bar is so bloody far away!!
Assembly bar. Still one of my favourite bars in Sydney even after all these years. The ambience is a perfect blend of grunge and casual yet fits the bill if you're looking for an upmarket bar, and just as easy as if you're looking for an easygoing beer with your mates.
Marco your pizza was simply amazing. I am generally not a huge fan of mushrooms but your toppings were perfectly balanced. The sauce was creamy and fresh. This will be my go-to place whenever I crave pizza. I came for the reviews and will come again for the service :)
How can you say no to a smoking skull full of delicious cocktail? A great place for a night out with a group big or small, plenty of room and seating inside and 'outside' - Undercover but plenty of fresh air. Food is great too, if a little limited in selection.
Awesome bar in a little book off kent street. The atmosphere is great and there is a lot of room outside the actual bar to sit and drink in the lane way. They have a lot of unusual cocktails that look great but the prices are a little high for what you get.
My new favourite go-to joint for italian! I have been twice in the last week and will be going again tonight. Loving each that i've dish chosen so far.. the pizzas, lamb chops, seafood risotto.. all amazing! topped off with friendly service from the staff.
Great little Gem in the big city! Thanks Marco, the porchetta pizza was a savoury eaters dream. Definitely left me wanting more. Long list of pizza's and Drinks to try from. Service and atmosphere is on point. A must visit, ever you are in the city
We went for lunch today. Pizza was good. We took a dessert pizza chocolate mint honey and it was very disappointing. Service wasn't great : no smile and didn't change our plates between tomato based pizza to chocolate pizza..?? Will not come back.
Thank you Marco, this was the best gluten free pizza I have had . Wood fired and delicious, thank you for taking such care with preparing it. What a great find , highly recommended and we will definitely be back on our next visit to Sydney.
This bar is tucked away so it generally gets locals and the dedicated tourists. The fake grass, picnic benches outside and the dark, mysterious interior allows groups or couples to have drinks where you feel comfy. The food is great too.
Good place to hangout with mates, The cocktail skull is actually really good when it’s 30$, While this being said the portion of the drink can be weird sometimes, Sometimes the skull can serve up to 12 glasses other times it’s like 8-10…
The bar has been a popular hangout the last few years, but I find it too loud and crowded for a good catchup drink. The restaurant offers good hearty Italian for a decent price but be prepared to be relentlessly asked to get a drink...
Cute bar located in the Regent Street complex. Great selection of cocktails and they're generous with the size of their glasses of wine. There's also heaps of food available for afterward just a couple of floors up, so that's handy.
A bit over price for having weekdays after work, but I must say the mojito is the one of the best! Sadly it was bit to small glass haha. My bf also liked the Lady Russian( I forgot the name). It is a bit dark light but I liked it.
Great selection of cocktails (would highly recommend the Long Island skull and cotton candy cocktail) and personable bartenders who were really efficient on both visits. However, the music volume can get a tad too loud at times.
YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE, seriously the best Italian food I've had outside of Italy. Spring Lamb Orecciete was fabulous! The truffle pizza was amazing, Tiramisu just like Nonna makes it. Will definitely be back. Thank you.
My favourite bar in Sydney! Good music, good atmosphere and amazing cocktails. The food is delish too. Definitely try it out, I’ve returned at least 5 or 6 times which is rare in Sydney! Cute first date idea boys ♀️ …
Went there this Sunday night for the second time, staff is very friendly and the pizza maker Andrea C. is legendary !!! Pizza is the most genuine I've ever found outside Italy, it made me go back to my holiday in Naples!
Great bar for cocktails. My partner and I shared a cocktail which came in a skull head, with dry ice added so that a fog came streaming out of the top of the skull. It was certainly a crowd entertainer among our friends!
Always packed with people so probably means good service. Pizzas are thin crust and tasty and probably the top 5 i had in Sydney but i had better. Just too noisy for me and can never hear what others are trying to say.
Great atmosphere, great cocktails.. and love the 'door' table at the entrance!! We always manage to get the couch when we are in a group, and end up spending hours!! Wish they would do a happy hour maybe on a Thursday?
Absolutely the best pizza in Sydney. Very yummy with genuine flavors and excellent ingredients. You can have 2 pizza and still not feel full. Pizza chef Marco did a great job with the pizza dough. Go and try yourself
Great tasting authentic wood fire pizza, price was acceptable for the location and service was attentive. Meals arrived within 10 mins, relatively quick and the recommended dish would be crabmeat and squid spaghetti.
Great ambiance and music, even on a week night. Very friendly staff and service, and a wide selection of instaworthy cocktails, they do taste slightly diluted, and have lower alcoholic effect on me than other places.
Best woodfired pizzas in Sydney without question. Other mains are great as well - mostly simple Italian done well, but the pizzas are the star of the show. If you can drink, the cocktail selection is also fantastic.
I really liked their pizza at assembly bar and restaurant it is a proper Italian wood fired pizza, only got the one to try but would try to come back to try the other pizzas on the menu. the staff were friendly.
Interesting concept on the containers. However the $60 drink has little alcohol but just water and juice. Understand that's how you make $$. I personally would not return to get ripped off again. …
Amazing flavour and great tasting pizza. Only downfall is that the toppings outweigh the base of the pizza. But its still a bloody great flavour and good to eat. Great size and well worth the price
Found this little gem in a convenient location. Great pizza and friendly service. Must try the cocktails and if you dont drink they make yummy mocktails. When in Sydney definately give them a try.
$15 lunch menu options for either the pizza or pasta, salad options. The options do change from time to time though quality is good though meat portion may be a tad small but the food delicious.
The bar has a very good ambience and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Vouge is a must tried cocktail, it has a refreshing and sweet taste. One of my favourite cocktails ever.
Had two lovely pizzas for one on Tuesday, friendly waiter who was really helpful. Loved the chefs favourite prosciutto! Woodfire pizza is the best! Would definitely go back again.

The staff here are delicious and the cocktails are extremely professional. 10/10 would buy again. Huge relief to have such an awesome experience given the recent few months.
Great place for drinks. It features some cocktails served in a glass skull with vaporising dried ice. Very unique. There's also some free self-serve popcorn in the corner.
Awesome cocktails. Special mention to the A.A.P, my new favourite cocktail. The vibe is good and they have a great range of single and share cocktails. Some food too.
Such a great ambience and location. They've got a wide range of cocktails to try, I'd recommend the skull if you're with a group. The bartenders are also so friendly!
The perfect blend of Tiki and Dive bar, all the best elements of both of those worlds. Great snacks. Go with friends and get a skull cocktail to share. Very generous
Great cocktails and atmosphere. Centrally located near town hall. Outside seating but undercover with heaters. Skull jug of cocktails with dry ice is delicious too.
Great well priced food, excellent service. Recommend the braschetta, pan fried salmon or chicken Maryland

The best Italian food in the city! If you love authentic pizza and pasta then you don't want to miss out. Reasonable prices and they have great specials too!
The asian bartender is so nice. I've never paid for a drink here. Me and my mates sit on the side of the bar and he looks after us all night.
dark atmospheric, leather couches and expose pipes, hidden bar. Definitely worth a visit. There is also a secret whisky bar Alfy’s upstairs.
Fantastic cocktail menu. Great service and atmosphere. My 2nd time here and will be back.

Great atmosphere in the evenings, good lunch specials, no mobile reception... perfect spot when you need to disappear from work!
Great cocktails, great atmosphere, the dry ice skulls are a highlight. (and quite reasonably priced for a group to boot!)
Lots of awesome cocktails, usually very busy. Best to go earlier if you want more relaxing vibe to hang out with friends.
Hidden location for amazing pizzas. Price is good, considering how fancy it feels. Great for a pre movie feast.
