Beautiful BROOKLYN park. Unfortunately, HURRICANE SANDY knocked down alot of the trees. Still a very nice park with a playground for the little ones. Plenty of room to let the pooch run around,no leash till 9 AM. Also a 5 mile beach and boardwalk across the street. Beach goes past CONEY ISLAND. Nice Area!!

Lived in this area when I was 13 years old for approximately 5 years. Actually came back to it one year ago I'm currently 62 now. Park is good, used to be live music in the Bandshell years ago not anymore. People walking around some with dogs, some on bicycles, nothing exciting.

Park is clean, not crowded. Offers a largish field for playing games, there is a circular road around park that could be used for running, biking or just walking; there is grassy areas that some use for picknicks, chess board tables and of course a nice playground for kids.

Great park with a medium sized field, kids playground and granite board game tables. A circular jogging track and smooth paving is great for scooters and bikes. Bbq is not allowed but you could picnic on the grass, just be wary that people do walk their dogs on the field.

It's a nice walk to get to the park. It's big enough and across the street from the beach. It has a kiddie park with swings. They used to have concerts in this park, which were great, handball courts are across the street, and the aquarium is before both locations.

I am a metal detectorist and go to this park sometimes. It is a good place to sit and enjoy the surroundings while kids run and play. It is about 1 city block in size and next to Brighton beach.
