Dr. Esfahani is the sweetest doctor I've ever met! I went to her for botox, and the first time I was so nervous because I had never gotten it before. But once I got there she put me at ease and addressed my fears and honestly the results looked great! I originally found out about her because my friend was looking extra good one day and she told me about Dr. Esfahani. I decided to go see her because my friend just looked more youthful and if she hadn't told me she got fillers and botox I wouldn't have known. The other thing I really like about her is she's very conservative in what she gives you, and if you ask for something she thinks you don't need she will tell you. My recent visit I asked her about fillers under my eyes because I noticed just a TINY bit of sinking, but she recommended against it and said she thought I didn't need it yet. In an industry rife with people who will try and upsell you on things you don't need, it's incredibly important to have a doctor who is honest. I highly recommend Dr. Esfahani, especially for anyone who is getting botox for the first time! Edit ~ I'd like to add to my review last year above since Google isn't allowing me to leave a second review. I received the Morpheus8 RF Microneedling a few months ago the results were great! My roommate actually said she noticed a huge difference in my face and she never notices anything, lol. I just went back for my second session today and the experience was great; her numbing cream works really well, she really takes her time, and she is constantly checking in to make sure I'm alright. The other really nice thing about her is if you have any concerns before or after treatment you can call or text her cell phone and she's available. I've been going to her for over a year for botox and she runs her entire business herself and it's honestly nice just dealing only with her and getting the extra attention instead of going to one of these places with multiple staff.

Everyone is different when it comes to skin concerns, so treatments and results will vary, but for me Morpheus8 is the way to go for deep acne scars! I have moderate, pitted acne scarring left from terrible acne from my teens and early 20’s. I also have large pores due to having very oily skin. Before booking my first Morpheus8 session, I did my research and watched countless TikToks and YouTube videos to get an idea of what to expect. The general consensus was that the pain — even among people with high pain tolerances — was anywhere between an 8-10 (even with numbing cream). So I came into my session thinking that I was going to be in so much pain. However, it was not as bad as I anticipated! Yes, the procedure was DEF uncomfortable, but the pain was around a 5-6 for me (I have a medium pain threshold). Dr. Esfahani prides herself in having the best numbing cream for her patients, and I believe it! Post-treatment, my skin was red and I had some minor scabbing from the needles. However, this was expected and the redness and scabbing subsided within a few days for me. It is critical that you follow the pre- and post-treatment guidelines given to you prior to your first session! Even though I’m only one session in, I am already seeing impressive results. My skin looks less porous, and some of my acne scars look less deep. If you’re looking to have an in-office procedure done in SD, then look no further than Atossa Medical Spa! I could’ve written a five star review after my first visit based on responsiveness, ease of scheduling, location, cleanliness, and the gentle professionalism of Dr. Esfahani. But I decided to wait until after all of my (initial) treatments so that I could leave a full review. Dr. Esfahani has a passion for what she does and it shines through in her work- she’s calm, patient and informative, and talks you through each step of the process. She uses top-of-the-line products and her machines are the best out there. I had a series of three Morpheus8 Radio Frequency Microneedling treatments with PRP. After doing a little research I found that this particular treatment can have awful results, no results at all, and/or be extremely painful. Thus your results are very much in the hands of the provider, and I’m pleased to say my experience was excellent. Dr. Esfahani compounds her own numbing cream and boy does it work! I’m also very happy that she offers PRP as I feel it has maximized my results, which I am extremely happy with! I also received a series of two TCA treatments on my chest and shoulders for sun hypopigmentation (Poikiloderma of Civatte) and love those results as well! Spots be gone! I've had IPL treatments from a different provider many years ago, but the difference with Dr. Esfahani was significantly better. Dr. Esfahani is truly amazing. After my second IPL treatment, all my broken capillaries were gone and my age spots were much lighter. I'm looking forward to a future chemical peel with Dr. Esfahani because her treatments offer real results. If you have been thinking about getting Morpheus8, look no further! After a less desirable series of full face morpheus from a different med spa I discovered Dr Esfahani. Apparently a lot of med spas buy the machine without formal training, and it shows! What I love about Dr Esfahani: Full face includes eyes! She is incredibly thorough. She's a one man show and that's how she keeps her prices a fraction of other places. Legit almost half price. She can also do a cash discount. Her numbing cream is FAR superior to any I've had, I never even flinched. She does multiple passes and gets DEEP. She also makes sure to overlap which is absolutely crucial to receive the full benefits of radio frequency microneedling. She's a cardiologist and I feel way more comfortable with her than nurses. She also provides way more education during the process. She is constantly checking in to make sure you're comfortable. Her bedside manner is unmatched. She also follows up during recovery! My results are coming in quickly and I can't wait to complete my series!!!

I had my first appointment with Dr Esfahani at Atossa Medical Spa this past week and I could not be happier. She got me in right away for dysport injection for my “crows feet” and forehead lines and for restalyne kysse for plumping my lips. She explained both very thoroughly and the atmosphere was relaxing and best of all there was no pressure for other procedures but when I inquired, Dr. Esfahani patiently answered the questions to my satisfaction. The conversation was great and I really look forward to returning! My lips look amazing. Also when I got my syringe of kysse injection, she saves a portion so she can make sure to correct any areas once the swelling goes down. She shows you your syringe so you can see what you have left. She uses an additional numbing injection to help with discomfort and then to top it off she called me a few days after to ensure everything was going ok. The dysport took effect within 24 hours and I look 10 years younger! Thank you Dr. Esfahani. I highly recommend this clinic!

Dr. Esfahani is amazing! I told her about my concerns with my wrinkles and she advised me to try Dysport treatments. She took the time to explain the difference between Dysport and Botox and how it can work for me. I decided to give it a go. I set up an appointment and thought I would see results within 3 days, like some people. But I didn't see much of a difference. So I texted the doctor and asked her why. She replied right away explaining that it's different for everyone and to wait a full week and try to be patient. She also asked me to text her the following week and let her know the results. She was right! It worked and I love my results. I really like the fact that I am able to have direct Contact with her. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the procedures. Dr. Esfahani is amazing! I am 41 and have been getting treatments of all kinds since I was in my 20's. I have never found someone who makes me feel so safe, educated, and never rushed. Dr. Efanhani is absolutely amazing. She explains everything and is so kind. She did an amazing job. These were my first cosmetic procedures ever. So I didn't know what to expect but no joke, I look 10 years younger. My 11s are gone! My crows feet gone. The microneedling improved my skin's pores and tighten everything. I did a Hydrofacial procedure on Wednesday and I was happy and liked Dr. Esfahani, she also explained all steps during the procedure. Which is nice. At the same time I woke up on Friday morning with a strong skin rush (white acnes) that I never had before. So, personally in my case, something goes wrong and now I need a few weeks for recovery and dermatologist consultation. Since all other reviews are 5 stars, hope my case is an exception. Since I signed the consent, refund was not provided as well.

6/3/22 - I am adding to my review as I just had Dr. Esfahani complete a TCA peel and wow, my skin is radiant. I purchased a serious of three peels and really looking forward to the upcoming treatments. However, with just one peel my skin is glowing and the fine lines are super diminished. You all must do this! 3/15/22 - I highly recommend for your injections (Dysport) - she is a master at lifting the brows :). Dr. Esfahani gives you a very natural look but continues to smooth everything out.

Dr Esfahani is amazing! She’s so kind and friendly and makes you feel so comfortable. She is very knowledgeable in what she does and very patient when you have any questions. Dr. Esfahani is great. I’d never had a cosmetic procedure before and came in for Dysport injections. She was very nice and I’m happy with the results so far. I really like that the environment is casual and relaxed, and how easy it is to schedule an appointment. She also has a flexible schedule which makes it even easier to set up an appointment, especially if you’re a procrastinator like I am. I’m so glad that this place is just a few blocks from me!

I've had microneedling before with an esthetician, but this experience was way better! She is a medical professional and she took the time to explain how the procedure worked, what size needles she was using for different areas, and she is very skilled. The last place I went to did not go deep enough and I didn't have great results, but at Atossa, she was thorough and I feel like I can already see smoother skin in some areas. Highly recommend.
