If a minus star was an option, this outlet would get it. Encountered some of the most appalling customer service ever endured in this shop today. Went in to post a package overseas. The staff member asked me to return to my office and complete the online customs declaration. I advised that this was not necessary as I had a completed paper copy with me, noting it was clearly a diversionary tactic by the staff member. Tacitly agreeing, the staff member then said my transaction will take too long and could I go to the back of the queue, that was 6 deep. I replied in the appropriate manner and left the outlet. Went to the Australian Post outlet on Bartley Terrace, West Lakes and completed the entire transaction in less than three minutes. Still in shock from the Alberton outlets attitude.

I went to pay for my PO Box account before it was due. The post 'system' was down and my account couldn't be paid (I had cash to pay). I have since not been able to make it back before I received a late notice. I went in today to pay the account in full $126.00 and was also charged a $25.00 Reactivation Fee. I was also not informed of this while using my credit card to pay. I informed the inept gentleman of this and his reply, 'Im not aware of anything that may have happened previously'. Then pretty much just ignored me. Disgusting service. Why must I have to give at least a single star rating to be able to make this post? Doent even deserve a single star.

Customer service here is a mixed bag. Depends on whose assisting you. Sometimes the pharmacy staff assist the post office customers - and always very friendly. Other times you go here and everything is a hassle or an inconvenience.

Our go to post office for past 5 years , visit all business days for posting customers orders and also for other services . Friendly and Top Notch Customer service compared to any other post offices we have visited.
