Actually, I would have rated him - (minus) 5! This guy made me spent money, energy and time, 10-hr travel time (valuable man-hour), going to his factory to purchase what he had quoted as 0.55mm. On getting there, we measured it with a caliper and it turned out to be actually 0.4mm gauge of longspan aluminum! I’m sure he’s cheated a number of unsuspecting clients, who trusted that they were getting 0.55mm without knowing that they were actually sold 0.4mm (low gauge). Unfortunately, in a few years, they’ll be shopping for roofing sheets again. His funny response to me was that 0.55mm is of two types - one that gives the actual reading of 0.55mm when measure with a micrometer or caliper, and another that they have agreed to be selling as 0.55mm, even though it is less than 0.55mm (it’s 0.4mm). Nope! If it’s not 0.55mm, it’s NOT 0.55mm! How can you say that something that is less than 0.55mm is 0.55mm and you quoted it for someone who asked for 0.55mm without explaining all these until the person gets to the factory and measures it to confirm? So, if I hadn’t gone there with a caliper, he would have duped me, just like he did those who fell victims in the past! Be careful with this kind of dealer! Learn from my sour experience! It’s really unfortunate! We’re all part of the problem of this country; not just the leaders!
